 Hello Unibet Community!

We are thrilled to be part of Unibet’s weekly series, Meet the Supplier. This is a great initiative! History might not be your favourite subject, but you might enjoy settling down with a cup of your favourite beverage while you allow us to tell you the tale of Play’n GO…

It all started nine years ago in Växjö (pronounced “VECK-shuh”), a growing university town in the heart of Sweden, studded with tall pine trees and crystal blue lakes. A group of passionate, game-loving techies recognized a need in the gaming sector. They decided to take matters into their own hands and joined forces to create casino games that would give online players an outstanding experience. They set their sights on revolutionizing the mobile gaming industry in particular.

A remarkable fact that only a few selected souls know is that in the year 2007, a new mobile game was programmed by one of Play’n GO’s founders, while he flew to London for the annual ICE i-gaming conference and exhibition that began the next day. This happened to be one of the very first mobile games to be showcased at ICE, and the rest is history! Play’n GO now offers more than 100 mobile games that include table games, scratch cards, bingo games and a wide variety of video slots – from traditional three-reel classics to more modern grid-style slots like Gemix and Cloud Quest.

Our partnership with Unibet goes way back. Over the years, Play’n GO has helped to develop some creative Unibet Exclusives such as Super Flip, Troll Hunters and Leprechaun Goes Egypt. As expected, the more recently-launched Leprechaun Goes to Hell game has proven to be quite hot among Unibet players! Speaking of Hell, one of our previous releases, 7 Sins, has proven that there are equally many sinners at Unibet as at Play’n GO given how good it’s been received by you, the players.

pp_logo.thumb.png.04f2b80403ac7ca65fbf52d712d1a530.pngWith our new release Prissy Princess it’s time to shift the setting over to a colourful and friendly tale of Knights, a dragon and a princess. You’ll soon notice that the game offers lots of action in a casual setting where you can open the crumbling chest to multiply your winnings, enter the bonus round by collecting the three flags and determine the winner in each tournament along with surprise factors as the Dragon’s Breath making each spin full with fiery action! To try the game with some added benefits, head over to the €10,000 Prissy Princess Slot Tournament where Unibet are running a massive launch promotion on the game where you can win free spins and up to €2,500 as top prize!

On a final note, we would like to let you know that Play’n GO people have been reading the threads in the community forum, and we really appreciate the opportunity to get your candid, immediate feedback about the games and features we develop. We always welcome your comments – both good and bad – as they guide our current and future efforts to create the finest of online games for you and other Unibettors.

Have a wonderful weekend!

First I have to say I love the fact that Sweden has produced so many talented game developers. 😀 👍

I've always liked Play'n Go because your slots are well made with nice graphics and interesting bonus games, plus they're really fun to play. Some of my personal faves are Fire Joker and Tower Quest (never really understood the wizard card game bonus in this, however, but collecting the potion bottles is fun ), and there are many more to go on that list.

Not a huge fan of the "block"-style slots like Gemix and Cloud Quest, though. The "general" wins on those just seem sooo small in relation to what you bet - unless you clear the whole board or something, which has never happened to me, so yeah, there you have it... 😛

Another thing I've always loved about Play'n GO is that your games have always run like clockwork. I've never had any problems with any of them. Until now. :teardrop: When I tried opening the new slot, Prissy Princess, I got this message: "This game is currently not supported by your device." Yes, my computer is old - but the one before this, Jade Magician, worked just fine - so did you change something crucial for this release...? If so, please, please, please, tell me you're not going to change your other games as well. :scared:

I have played a few of your games before, 7 sins, Gerim Muerto and Pimped. It's really hard to win anything on Pimped, or I have ´just been unlucky.

I have tried Prissy Princess already, sadly before the tournament started but it's not too late to join.
I managed to open a chest once and got the x10 multiplier so that was cool. 😃 Would have been even better with x100 of course. 😛

Like @Valkyrie said, most winnings are small, you need to get a good run from time to time, and the dragon have given me some wilds a couple of times but sadly they haven't helped those times.

I have no problem playing this game on any of the 2 computers I use (windows 7 and 10).

Hi @Valkyrie

Yes it is great that Sweden has produced so many well-renowned game studios over the year and more and more seem to pop up. Glad to hear you like many of the PnG (as well call them internally) titles - same here. I am like you not a massive lover of block-style games like you call them so good the portfolio is big and there's something for everyone to enjoy. Prissy Princess I do like since it has a very high feture hitrate, an interesting theme and lots of wins in the basegame - it provides excellent entertainment value and with the chance of big wins as well. When we first got to see the game we felt that it offers something new that we have not launched in a while and decided to run the both the tournament and the free spins campaign on the game.

PnG is aware of your comment regarding issues to start and are looking into it. Can you either here in this thread or in a private message to me share some info on your system like you did last time (using http://supportdetails.net/)  - just want to make sure that we have the latest updates to give a good answer.

Kind regards, Fredrik

@PokerAndBetting

Hope you get the 100x next time! Yes a lot of the RTP (return to player) sits in the base game so this is like I said earlier a really good entertainment product that one can play for a long time. If you want some ideas on high volatility I can for sure share some (usually my favorite type of games) but beware that it is usually up our out in those products ;) Nice win btw!

Thank you for the feedback and responses so far.

In regards to your issue @Valkyrie. Prissy Princess is our first Videoslots release on our newest HTML5 engine and all our upcoming releases will be on the same engine. The reason that you receive this message is unfortunately that the device (computer) is not supported most probably due to it being outdated and/or does not support WebGL. I've seen that another thread just opened up that seem to assist in how to activate it (if possible). We’re sorry for any inconvenience caused and hope that you get the chance to try it out one day. In the meantime, you can always play our game using any smartphone or tablet in Unibets awesome mobile Casino.

When it comes to our Gridslots, yes, the winnings are maybe not that big but instead they are quite frequent and can maintain your balance until you hopefully hit big. You can actually win 4500x your stake in Gemix :) Does require a bit of luck though!

@PokerAndBetting: Pimped is one of Play’n GO’s most volatile games, if your luck turns around hopefully you’ll be rewarded with a great payout for your troubles. If you’re into the whole “Win Spins concept” perhaps you could give Spin Party a go. When you hit a stacked Wild on reel 2, 3 or 4 you’re rewarded with a re-spin. If you manage to hit two of them you trigger at least 5 Win Spins.

We appreciate the feedback and wish you a nice weekend and best of luck to anyone participating in the Tournament!

@PlaynGOMike  thanks for your fast reply - appreciate it. 👍

The change to HTML5 explains it then - that's what's been causing problems for me with new games from other suppliers as well.

I'm a bit confused though, because Yggdrasil gave me the advice to turn WebGL off to get their games to work, which I did, and now they work. But not this new one from PnG - so I guess I have to turn it back on to get yours to work? Shouldn't all HTML5 based games work the same way regardless...?

Anyway, I'll try turning it back on next time and see if it works. Not much for playing on mobile, prefer the big screen, but thanks for the tip. The new game seems fun, so it might be worth a shot if I can't get it to work on my comp. 😃 Have a great weekend!

  • 4 weeks later...

matsuri_matsuri_webclipicon_highres.thumb.png.f769f08763d69f81a4dcff2cbc9e2d09.pngHi again everyone! Play'n GO brings you the Matsuri Festival to a slot near you! In an artistically beautiful game, Matsuri offers simple and recognizable mechanics in a fast-paced Japanese themed setting where you can win up to 3000x your stake.

If you've been to Japan or fancy the Japanese culture you might recognize the symbols and bonus feature in the game. Everything in the game can be found in the festival that's held all over Japan at different times and lengths throughout the year..matsuri_bonus_fish_highres.thumb.png.a5ea76df00b2f69ed91bb0751442a0d5.png

The game offers two main features, a Bonus feature and a Free Spins feature. Get three (3) Koi Fish symbols to enter the Bonus game where you have the chance to win up to 500x your stake. Try and collect as many fishes as possible with a fragile paper spoon until the paper breaks for a cash prize.matsuri_generic_lamp.thumb.png.b13efd5c2de28fc41c62004cce75b031.png

To enter the Free Spins feature you need to get three (3) scatter symbols [cat] that are found on reel 1, 3 & 5. You're intially rewarded with 8 Free Spins but each scatter gives you another two spins up to a total of 20 Free Spins. The potential here is amazing as the wild symbols [lantern] expand to cover the reel, remain for the next round as it moves a step to the left. In simple terms - Expanding walking wilds! And yes, you can cover the full screen with them :)

Hope you appreciate a little information about the game and enjoy the game play. I know that we appreciate your feedback, good and bad, so feel free to leave a comment so we know what you think about it.

If you fancy some free spins or extra cash, Unibet Community is organizing two different competitions including posting Big Wins from the game that includes both real money and play money. Head over there for a chance to win and good luck!

Prissy Princess - same error

Wish Upon a Jackpot - Loaded OK

Jungle Spirit - Loaded OK

Rainbow Riches - Loaded OK

Appears to be PnG slots that don't load.

Edit: Matsuri loads ok in Firefox so it appears to be Chrome specific.

Have you read my blog HERE... It's long isn't it :)

@AndreiBN, as far as I could understand the game was only unavailable in Denmark and Italy (DK should be ready shortly), but I just found out that Romania isn't ready neither - sorry about that.

@MoreTBC - UK should work, but there's definitely something we need to investigate. Can you please take a screenshot of the error message you're getting when trying to enter the game?

Edit: Great, thanks for checking. Would appreciate a screenshot anyway to report the Chrome bug :)

@MarcoV, did some tinkering and have got it working in Chrome on my laptop. I had Hardware Acceleration switched off so turning it on appears to have sorted that one.

The work PC has hardware acceleration enabled but shows it as disabled on chrome://gpu/. The card is pretty old so it might just not support it. Could explain why I can't run the web poker client either.

More tinkering was required for older graphics card.

Had to go to chrome://flags/ and enable :-

Override software rendering list Mac, Windows, Linux, Chrome OS, Android
Overrides the built-in software rendering list and enables GPU-acceleration on unsupported system configurations. #ignore-gpu-blacklist

Seems to load fine now. Any jobs going in tech self support? ;)
