Loyalty program for Casino?

I like the loyalty wheel in Bingo, and a while back there was something similar in the casino, where you got to open "boxes" with different kinds of rewards each time you reached a new loyalty level (or maybe it was at the end of every month, I don't remember the set-up exactly). But I think it was just on for a trial period because after a couple of months it disappeared again. So I'm wondering if you have any plans on starting up a new loyalty program for the casino? If I'm not mistaken the Norwegian site still has something like that... but not the Swedish one. I don't know about the other languages...

They do have the "program" in the Norwegian Unibet...but they changed it a little.

Before you got diffrent set of freespinns in between levels on diffrent slots, now it is only bonus chash prizes who is somewhat way harder to get to. Awail.eble the month after you earned it...me think...never got part 1 done lol.

Personally I liked the old original version better, when you got the freespinns and cash, no need to wait untill the next month before getting a reward for beeing active player :D

Nothing is impossible, the impossible only take some time.

Loyalty schemes are always worth having I suppose. A little something here and there is certainly better than nothing. At the same time though, I think they're just annoying. I'm talking about the points > pounds. It usually takes half your life to get 100, and the minumum requirement is 10,000 for redemption. It just seems like another daily-grind to add to the tedium.

Loyalty schemes need some imagination.

You've got a point there, jayc. Sadly most loyalty programs are engineered that way and the benefits aren't always worth the time and money spent to get them. The ideal loyalty program would be based on exactly that: loyalty - the fact that you come back regularly and choose to make your deposits here rather than anywhere else, regardless of the size of those deposits. Whether you win or lose, the amount of money you spend should be less important, because let's face it, most of us aren't highrollers. (And personally, I'd like to win big on small bets, not the other way around. :smileytongue:)

Also, as someone who plays mostly in the casino, but dabble a bit with both bingo and poker and sometimes betting, I feel it would be better if they had a site wide loyalty scheme that involves all products. Usually I only deposit small amounts at the time and I can't play everywhere at once, so one month I might play more poker, another only casino, but then the points I gathered in poker the previous month disappear and I have to start all over again. But that's also why I like the loyalty wheel in bingo, because it doesn't reset after a certain time period and you don't have to spend thousands to reach a new level and get a little something extra for your efforts. So like I said in the first post, something similar would be nice in the casino as well, unless they can make it a site wide loyalty scheme, where all products count equally, which would be even better. :smileyhappy:

I have no idea why there's a loyalty program for poker but not casino and sportsbetting.  If there's "value" for the site to have a loyalty program for poker then there surely must be for other verticals.  I'm assuming the reason for loyalty in Bingo and Poker is because the formats depend on players participation where as sports betting and Casino are purely an independant thing.

But Unibet should be concerned that they aren't the only casino and all players like money and bonuses/prizes are a great way to keep people loyal.

Hi all,

I realized there is no official response from Unibet which I'd like to correct. All discussions here are good and I agree with a lot of different statements. For instance, to me loyalty isn't only about the financial transactions (win/lose, wagers etc) but like   pointed out - spending your time and showing commitment. It is correct that we do not have a loyalty program open to all at the moment (we are instead trying to focus on giving as much as possible back in our casino campaigns and tournaments) but that is necessarily not an absolute truth for the future. I cannot say if there will be a program or not but we are looking into what the best way of rewarding our customers is.

If there would be a program, what type of setup is preferred and what rewards would be mest interesting?

Thanks for replying @Fredrik-Unibet. At least now we know what's going on - or in this case not going on. 😉 But I guess there's still hope for the future anyway. 😃 As I said in the first post, I really did like the loyalty program we briefly got to take part in on the Swedish site a few years back - if I remember correctly it was made up as a christmas calendar with little presents, like freespins and bonuses, hidden at various intervals throughout the month - so I hope we'll get something like that again. :)
