//Experiment_3.03: ENVIRONMENT

AN EFFICIENT POKER PLAYING ENVIRONMENT CONSISTS OF SOME SIMPLE BASIC COMPONENTS:

  • Order and cleanliness

Organising your desk. Remove everything that isn’t associated with focused play. Also, make sure that the surrounding environment is clean.

theMachine IS PRONE ON THE SOLID FLOOR, SURROUNDED BY AN ARRAY OF SEEMINGLY RANDOM OBJECTS, WITH NO DISCERNABLE PATTERN TO THE COLOUR, SHAPE, TEXTURE OR PURPOSE.

  • Lighting

Research suggests that “cool”, bluish white lighting (6500K) is the best choice for study. This kind of lighting mimics natural daylight and increases your alertness. Natural light whenever possible.

WITHIN_THE_DARKNESS A 1920mm_x_1080mm PIXEL SCREEN GLOWS DIMLY PROVIDING THE ONLY ILLUMINATION

  • Smells

Not all distractions are unpleasant.

THE FAINT BUT ONLY NOTICEABLE FRAGRANCE WITHIN THE ROOM IS THE STENCH OF HUMAN EXCRETIONS EMINATING FROM A SMALL STORAGE RECEPTACLE IN THE FAR CORNER.

  • Time

Find your “prime time”. There are certain hours in the day when you will be able to write, read and learn more effectively than others. Find those hours and emphasize them. Also, consider placing a clock on your desk. It might give you a sense of urgency and can help you achieve time-related goals. Use the clock to keep you moving forward, efficiently.

theMachine HAS BEEN OPERATING AT FULL CAPACITY FOR 826minutes: SCHEDULED_DOWNTIME_IS_OVERDUE.

  • Temperature

When you can control the surrounding environment (e.g. with a thermostat) set the temperature to a comfortable, constant level.

UNSEASONALLY HIGH TEMPERATURES ROAST theMachine. 25_DEGREES_CENTIGRADE IS NOT OPTIMAL FOR FOCUSED PLAY OR RESTING.

  • Other people

Study groups can be tremendously effective - or they can just be a waste of time. Make sure that everyone in the group is aware of these goals and commits to them.

A SMALL HUMANOID REFUSES TO COOPERATE. DISTRACTIONS: ESCAPE/ENTERTAINMENT/MAINTENANCE ALL PROHIBIT THE PRIMARY GOAL, SUPPLANTING theMachine’s SECONDARY GOAL.

  • Comfortability

An efficient study environment cannot be too comfortable. Usually, the best option is to sit at a desk or a table with a comfortable chair. It’s even better if you can adjust the height of both of these. If you do own an electric table, consider alternating between sitting and standing while studying.

THE TIMBER FLOOR DOES NOT YIELD TO THE FRAME OF theMachine. ADDITIONALLY IT RISKS UNWANTED NOISE WHICH MAY PREVENT TIMELY EXTRACTION.

  • Distractions

Devote your desk or study space to the task. A separate space creates a clear boundary between working and free time. This space also acts as an indication: you should not be disturbed while you’re in this space.

ANOTHER REQUEST FOR INFORMATION / ANOTHER DISTRACTION / ANOTHER AILMENT

Forget your phone. If you’re using a phone as a calculator, put it in airplane mode. Use it as a reward during breaks.

THE MOBILE PHONE IS THE ONLY CONNECTION TO THE OUTSIDE WORLD: THERE ARE NO BREAKS: THERE ARE NO REWARDS

Use earplugs to block noises. Erratic, repeating noises can wreck your focus.

ERRATIC_REPEATING_NOISES_WRECK_FOCUS: theMachine_CANNOT_BLOCK_OUT_THE_NOISE

Set strict time frames for meal breaks. Meal breaks tend to stretch longer than expected if you haven’t set a specific time frame for each brake. Stick to your schedule!

//Experiment_3.06:

ANALYSING UNIBET_ONLINES_SERIES PROGRESS @ 50% COMPLETITION:

nanoLEADERBOARD: 122nd POSITION

RESULTS:         POOR

PERFORMANCE:     SUB-OPTIMAL

GAME_THEORY:     FRAGMENTED

theMachine IS NOT FAULTLESS BUT NEGATIVE ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS HAVE INHIBITED EFFECTIVE PROGRESS:

FOLLOWING FEEDBACK REGARDING EXTENDED LATE REGISTRATION PERIODS DURING THE FIRST UNIBET_ONLINE_SERIES, THE SQUEAKY WHEELS HAVE GOT THE OIL & REGISTRATION TIMEFRAMES HAVE BEEN REDUCED, THIS HAS DAMAGED theMachine.

DUE TO ROUTINE SCHEDULED MAINTENANCE: theMachine CANNOT COMPETE BEFORE 2100CET WHICH HAS LED TO ALL TOURNAMENTS BEING BOUGHT INTO AT THE LATEST AVAILABLE STAGE. NOT ONLY THIS BUT ONCE REGISTERED theMachine HAS TO SIT OUT DURING A NUMBER OF TOURNAMENTS UNTIL AN OPPORTUNITY TO PLAY ARISES. FURTHER BLINDING OUT LEADING TO SHORTER 'STARTING' STACK.

theMachine STARTS EVERY TOURNAMENT DISADVANTAGED & HANDCUFFED.

DURING THE FIRST UNIBET_ONLINE_SERIES theMachine ONLY MISSED 2 nanoEVENTS DURING THE ENTIRE SERIES/ theMachine HAS MISSED 5 nanoEVENTS TO DATE.

IT HAS BECOME APPARENT theMachine CAN NO LONGER COMPETE EFFECTIVELY

AS theMachine HAS BOUGHT IN LATE TO ALL nanoEVENTS: THERE HAS BEEN A HIGH DEGREE OF SHOVE/FOLD POKER FOR theMachine: IT HAS PROVED DIFFICULT TO CAN YOU NAVIGATE THE nanoFIELDS WITH CONFIDENCE, theMachine HAS SUFFERED FROM LEVELLING ISSUES. CAN YOU OUTPERFORM theMachine?

  • FOLDS TO theMachine IN BIG BLIND WITH AJo & 10BBs

\\CALL or FOLD?

Spoiler

Screenshot_AJAA.jpg THE HUGE SHOVE MAKES NO SENSE, CLEARLY TILT AS THE BIG STACK HAS JUST LOST A BIG POT WITH CRACKED ACES: theMachine CALCULATED OPPONENT'S RANGE COULD HAVE BEEN MUCH WIDER: IT WAS NOT.

Then Fold. Maybe I play too much Omaha but without any tell or previous line and considering the bubble is here so raise hard and everybody will fold trick too I think the UTG's raise, reraise allin line represents a better starting hand.

theMachine DOES BELIEVE HAND 3 IS A FOLD & WOULD NORMALLY FOLD BUT PLAYING THE nanos HAS DESTROYED ANY IDEA OF OPPONENETS RANGES

TheMachine is a lucky mechanism, because it doesn't need to play freerolls. All the actions are pretty standard moves here and maybe I'm not wrong saying the level of the nanos is only a little bit above of the level of freerolls. I don't think theMachine needs an advise, but trusting in opponents moves could be profitable. In the third hand the humanoid told to all that he is not a tricky player but ready for the coinflip. All the enviroment (he didn't afraid of the bubble/other big stack) told us a premium hand. If he is not a maniac, then it is a crying fold for me.
