@pinki I will try them again tomorrow but I feel as if the whole structure of them has changed by such a small move as reducing the number of starting tickets. I think the UK tour or other national tours are very much secondary to the main UO tour, and as yet there is no news of the supposed re-structuring, so we'll just have to wait and see.

#Stillnothappy. :teardrop:

Having been lucky enough to experience both this year i'd say the two don't even compare. UO events are massive, all bells and whistles. UK Tour events you almost wouldn't know they're anything to do with Unibet. Apart from the lovely Katja.

@DoktorAvalanche To be honest I used to find it easy(ish) to win more than 1 in 5 and felt I could go on forever with the exchangers, but dropping the number of tickets on offer has come as a nasty shock and I'll just see how it goes when I recover from the trauma.

And as you and others have pointed out, the UK tour just seems to be a forgotten and neglected part of the UB strategy, but I'm still waiting eagerly for news of what I hope can be a revival. I just wish we were kept up to date a bit more without having changes sprung on us out of nowhere.

Absolutely. Patience was literally all you needed. I do still feel they're doable though. Definitely an awful lot trickier than it was.

Well done @pinki nice to see. Are you going to the 1st event in March?

Of course "Manchester or Bust" is now bust so I might have to start a new blog, "London, Newcastle, London, London or bust"

later I will describe you a roller coaster in this tournament, I was extremely lucky several times

Good luck @pinki I'm just drifting in and out at the moment, with all the Advents and promos, so waiting for the New Year and a fresh start (probably pschological) then get down to some proper play. 👍

@GR1ZZL3R  I write here for a reason. i mobilizes you and here is the story of this tournament:

1. nice start and got decent stack in couple deals.  Any flush, straight draw was mine 🆒

2. later dead cards, but it was enough for itm.

3. after bubble on BB i got 65off. I decided call utg1 shove, last poistion with 10-13bb. Crazy move, but my thinking was: lucky double up or i'll take 23€ cash. Failed. 1.5BB left.

4. couple allins in row and 22bb :Wow.

5. few miutes later got AA;

6. later i 'killed' @miziel  with AQs with 5 players left.

7. direct bubble, i got JJ and ...

Ahem. That's Lord High Lady Empress PianoCat. 😉

Why are there no cat emoticons here?

I had intended to be incognito for the UK final on Sat but accidentally played with my community alias because of being in the Davitsche league at the same time, which was a lot of fun, and with people in chat railing the UK final and sending messages of support. ❤️♥️

Somehow I got a package anyway despite my catfishy identity being displayed!

I'll be taking my package to the Newcastle stop, and trying to bink more packages to take there. Have another four €50 UK tickets in my stash...

HAPPY NEW YEAR.

New Year Celebration GIF by echilibrultau

My motivation seemed to have slipped again but congrats to @pinki and @pianocat88 for their wins, and good luck to  @marto  @LeVsKaRa and anyone else on the trail of the live events, that's enough motivation to kick start me again. The main target, Manchester, has slipped off the agenda,  I'll have to cast my net wider, the UK Tour is now 75% London, 25% Newcastle, and the UO Tour is Dublin and Unknown, so who knows where we might meet up. I think my days of long distance travel are over, but I'd make an exception for here!

This time of year seems to be the one for making lists so here goes.

TOP 5.

1.    The UK Tour.

2.    The UO Tour.

3.    Cash Tables.

4.    Football Betting.

5.    Roulette.

These are basically the order I play during my day, after of course checking in to this great community, actually always the Number 1 priority.

I could go into much more detail on these 5 paths to fame and fortune  but think my time would be better spent actually trying to crack them, so updates will come as and when (if) significant milestones are reached. I'll just update the current state of play then get back to the grind.

I've not included the smaller UO tickets as I still intend to use them and stick with the UO €2-€10 path, and try to use the UK €1 up, playing the UK €5-€50. I made a small deposit to even the cash balance to €200 but overshot slightly, and played Banzai to lose €0.38 but ended up winning.  Maybe that's the secret.  I've also a few BP's to used for special promos, maybe I'll play a few more UOS tourneys.(Maybe not.)

Good Luck to everyone in their new or old challenges, let's make it a good, and fun, year.

@GR1ZZL3R  I'm slowly quitting my poker activity at Unibet. I decided to set up bankroll on PP [400€] after a few nice hits in the casino on other sites.
I was going to set it up here, but unfortunately with so few satellites, getting € 5, € 10 or € 25(playing 1-2€ games we need bigger volume and we know how it looks here, 50-100€ gtd are not tempting at all) tickets is exhaustive and takes too much time. Always having a balance of 50,100,200 € and after a few days I finish at the casino or sports betting, so I will stick to sports betting and casinos as my main target on Unibet.

I want to have fun at tournaments, unfortunately, playing one and later I have to wait 2h or 24h for the next one is not a solution for me. I think that proposing an increase in the number of satellites will have no effect, maybe this will happen naturally in the future, then we will think.

Even UOS is not an attraction without regular satellites outside it. I think that with a solid construction of regular satellites, no special qualifiers are needed for it, except for main events or higher stakes.

ps. @GR1ZZL3R   try to get UK TOUR package, I'll give you my UK bullet (I think i can do it once):popeye:

These are my changes in 2020😏

Hi @pinki

I'm also playing on PP, basically the fast forward 2-4c only when I'm splashing about with different strategies, and so far it's proving quite profitable, but I don't put a lot of volume in, and haven't really tried the tourneys. I'm quite happy playing the UK and UO satties, as I've said before they seem to suit my style, a sort of "Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon." Basically I just keep my head down while the rest go frantic trying to build their stacks, then pick them off when blinds are compressed and so many pounce too soon. I think patience is the key but it doesn't translate well to the majority of mtt's, so I'm sticking to the satties and cash when I know I can put in a reasonable length of table time. The patience seems to pay off in the betting and roulette as well, I don't feel compelled to bet, only in specific circumstances, and can be on the roulette tables for an hour or two late at night and only play 1/4 to 1/3 the spins.  Even the Community League has lost it's attraction, there are more and more unrecognisable players and virtually no chat in the community, not at all what I thought it would be like. Here's hoping you have a good year in the casinos, and maybe make it to a venue we both like. 😃

Happy Slotting 🤣

Nice one @pinki I played last night, early build up of stack, lost an all in JJ v 1010, rivered 10, then nothing of note, dribbled down to nothing :teardrop:  I'm still patient though, at least your br is going up with all the expenses. 👍

@GR1ZZL3R ehh I'm a bit confused now with two P's. My earlier declarations are probably changing in connection with PP. I have only one doubt but I'll ask @Patric-Unibet  in a few days:happy:

ps. I won't mess here anymore,  it's time to reactivate my thread🆒
