A year with Unibet

Recommended Posts

Hi all,

it has been a year since I am a customer of Unibet and a member of community,so decided to write a "few words" about my experience thus far.

I came here in a search for a good sports offers,at first. After depositing one green paper (100€),started my journey with a green Unibet.I tried everything:Sports betting,Casino games/live casino, poker to bingo.Overall experience is very well. Everything looks nice and is easy to "navigate".Good job there!

Since I came here mainly because of sports betting,it is fair to start with that.

Sports betting (soccer) : Overall experience is excellent.Rich offers,light/fast site, easy  to navigate, free bets/profit boosts...Have a two complaince, though.First one is that some leagues, and are a solid ones, comes up very late and dont have a more markets opened.Think that it needs to be checked and arrange properly.Second one is more promotion offers! Considering that most revenue comes from betting and casino/slots games, think it also needs to go other way around.Must admit that changes are seeable (CL predictor,EU jackpot draws). What would like to see is some unique Unibets offers.Like, guess what player will score most goals across top 5 leagues at certain weekend...or similar, but unique!

Second is POKER: Coming with a good background, customer of a Pokerstars for about 10 years, also, had an account with a Bwin for about 2-3 years,so can say that know that territory very well.Overall experience here with Unibet client is terrible.Dont know where to start and how to finish so will write just a few points.I am not a computer geek, but know a few tricks and understand the environment. Most important thing for Unibet is to invest in a stable server, other things then will come in their place.Think that current situation says all. There is some positive things, such as a graphics,MTT space theme,no HUDs allowed, variety of the games...Think that a MTT schedule, though, needs to be more representative.Starting stacks and blinds level to be seeable right next to certain MTT,rather than going into the lobby of each one to find the infos.Big tournaments, such as Supernova, needs to be in the lobby all the time,IMO!

Live Unibet open needs more marketing, for sure.Think that you need to use @DaVitsche as a main man for that! That guys is very smart and talented for such a job/s.Give him a more space and invest in him,you will get double back.I, personaly, dont see that current "guard"of e-sports represet you very well.I understand that they are out there for you to catch a new customers through that "world",but I think it is WRONG.I am coming from that world, played a video games till my 17-18,and think those two things have nothing in common.Yes,they have a  x,xxx+subs or followers base, but dont think somebody will turn into a gambler just because their "hero" is a member of  gambling site.

What I would like to see is good story/stories.Give a @triceraatopp "scene".Take a interview with her and spread that over.Think that is the stories that drives people. How someone who invested their time and money in a poker dream, succeed.

About transparency, that is also a segment in which Unibet can improve,a lot!Dont try to sell me a story that someone who, apparently, won Ford Mustang or won a trip to Maldives, wants to be protected or anonymous. Why dont you, then, protect those who won ticket/s to Aston Villa game/s? Their stories are shared all over twitter, with Unibet retweeting them.If I am not mistaken,in most Terms and Conditions states that you are agreeing with using your personal informations for marketing use.At least that is how big ones operate. I mean,we live in a world and a time where everyone wanna be famous.Think that 7/10 would rather be famous, then anonymous millionaires. Also, our personal informations are all over the place,so selling me that "top secret customer" story does not hold. I still believe that promotions are real but until I see mentioned above, there will always be that suspicious.

FAMILY (community)- best thing Unibet can have!Likes everything here! The concept, the style, purpose,“positive vibes“... There is,definitely,a bright future for community. Our dad ( @JeppeL ) and mom ( @RayL ) doing terrific job here and are always welcome to assist.Big love and applause for you guys! Keep with the good work. Also, big thanks to @Leo-Unibet, @Patric-Unibet@David-Unibet, @ReCorpH@Fredrik-Unibet, @Robin-Unibet@Chris-Unibet for everything!

What about the future? I will stay as a customer for sure, until something drastic changes,to worst, the current sports betting situation, which I doubt that will. As far as poker is concerned, I don't see myself playing much here until something drastically changes,to better. Now cant sit down to play some longer MTT and be sure that everything will work fine, which is sad. Will give a chase for UO package and use some promo offers, but that is that. Unibets future is bright, that is for sure. There will always be some other "XY",if I ever go,so no concern there. What I want from Unibet is to go step ahead and take initiative in a gambling world! Be unique and be a role model to other gambling sites! You are more than capable of that!

Thanks for your time and reading.Sorry for my bad written english and limited vocabulary.Sorry if somebody ever finded offended by my posts or comments, never was intention.

Wish you all the best for upcoming holidays!!!

Stay good!

You don't have to open the lobby to see blind level length and starting stack - you do have to click the tournament though. Difficult to display all information without the need of a click, when identical client is used for mobile and desktop. Or did I misunderstand something in your post?

I don't get why it's important to know the identify of a winner? GDPR just complicates things a bit, and as far as I'm aware, you'll need to sign a consent form, which is probably what's been done in the cases you mention. Looking at lottery winners in Denmark, the vast majority (you can pretty much switch around your numbers) prefer to be anonymous.

Other than that (Y). I especially agree that loyalty isn't rewarded as much as on other sites, when playing casino/sports, and if I hadn't worked at the company for 5 years, I honestly doubt I'd ever play casino at Unibet.

Merry Xmas/Hanukkah/whatever to you too :)

@Want2Believe David is on payroll ;)

I do agree that the E-sporters aren't the best to attract. They have mainly kids as viewers (so even below legal gambling age) and the rest comes just for freerolls. I know it's the 1% that deposits that will make the difference, but I'm not sure if it is really good here. (Certainly when you keep inviting the same guys over and over, from the same branch of games...)

Maybe invite some porn actors next time (or camgirls) ;) Guess that will have a far better result :D hehe (P.s. even tough it looks like I'm joking and I wanted to be joking... Thinking further of it I guess it isn't that bad of an idea :p)

I see now that the circumstances of ones birth are irrelevant... It is what you do with the gift of life that determines who you are.

Since you seem to be an expert in this area, any suggestions?

I also see the new Unibet poker marketing campaign: "Going deep" (in the MTTs) with xxx...

We're gonna win on so many levels! We're gonna win, win, win. You're gonna get so tired of winning, you're gonna say: "Mr. President please, we don't wanna win anymore, it's too much!" And I'm gonna say: "I'm sorry, we're gonna keep winning because we're gonna make America great again!"

My "notification bell" is on fire. Thanks guys, really appreciate!

@testuser1 Yes,you are right there, partly. It is seeable when you press on certain MTT (starting stacks and blinds),but is it 6-max or 9-max isnt stated. Also, when I was writing that, had in mind UOS tournaments which does not have a speed stated, but UO series name instead.

It is easier for you to understand all moves made by Unibet as you had a closer look,I wrote that from a angle of a customer/s who does not know a full story behind each move. Now when you mentioned that same client is used for both mobile and desktop versions, some things have more sense.

That is also why I am chasing that live package,to meet those people in person and environment where they works.

About winners and transparency,it is not about that I need to know who won something, but about marketing for the company. It is perfect opportunity to present them.Imagine the story that a guy bet his last 10€ on a few full time outcomes, hit them, and won a trip to Paris. That story would be interesting to a people that do follows football but does not have an account on any gambling site.Or a community guy that turned his 50€ into UO package, playing 1/2€ UO MTTs...That is the story that people wanna hear/read/see not a games where one ambassador reads a jokes, other two, having water in a mouths, tries not to spit it on a reader.REALLY???

Agree and understand, also, that there is a persons that dont wanna be mentioned if they win something. But in this cases, really, all of them?I would be one of them, but I tried to think globally here.

Nice idea,guys. :happyshy:
Don't forget that some of best ideas came accidentally,or on a toilet.
Porn industry is in downswing,so maybe not a bad idea?!
Instead of space theme MTTs they could do kamasutra MTTs. 🤣

Also, think that pornhub already have poker...

know 😉

I'll put myself behind some thorough investigation :) Ofcourse I first need confirmation from @RayL@JeppeL and most importatnly @Leo-Unibet if this "research" is really necessary. Maybe they did their research already ;)
