Thanks for explaining @Mark1980, because it's not too uncommon for this to happen in MLB and other baseball leagues, it's included in the betting rules for baseball that bets are settled on the basis of the official results no matter the total number of innings played - Rule 1.

For example on tennis in the past when it was a suspension it was a message like: "Match suspended due to rain. We are sorry for any inconvience". After that match was opened for customers for 5-10 minutes...to see the message and of course if you want to cash in the bets. Same situation was on this football match. Did you closed the match like this witout any explanation? Unfortunatelly these are traders faults from your provider...

Because you have a cash out button I don't think it's fair. You are not cheating with anything if you cash out the bet in this kind of situations. I said I had this problems on tennis when match was postponed. If the match was opened i could cash in the bet. It's curios that on some matches you are letting them open. I don't see any difference ....and even you cash in the bet, customers are not getting all the money because also the cash in had a smaller payout...but it's still something

This is in no way about cheating, but about what is fair to all sides at the same time - apparent winners of bets, apparent losers of bets and Unibet as the facilitator of play. Bets that were placed on events that has happened in the match and cannot be changed, those we of course settle in accordance with the rules, both won or lost.

I'm curious too if cash in remains open on some tennis matches and not others, I'll definitely inquire on that with our sportsbook team. If you happen to catch and example of this in the coming days, don't hesitate to take a screenshot please 😃

You're very welcome @Mark1980 and I understand the frustration on not being able to cash in a bet when you wish to do so, though I don't believe it would make sense for us to both offer cash in and  have the rule that all baseball results are settled on the official result no matter the number of total innings played.

If you have a complaint on a rule that wasn't followed, you're more than welcome to post it here as well and I'll happily discuss it on your behalf with our sportsbook.

Like this for example, I couldn't cash out anymore and I can't find anything in your rulesbook that mentions that the cashout will be blocked. At a certain point i could cash out alot before the other games where finished. It's not only the rain delay, it's also the cashout that couldn't be used anymore. So if it's not mentioned in your rules I think i have at least the right to get my money back.

@JeppeL

Matches opened on live even the play has been suspended for some time. Of course people can cash out if they want now.

I don't say that the footbal match should stayed 2-3 hours opened on live after the suspension...but 10-15 min with a message that the match has been suspended or something should do the thing.

Sorry for the slow response @Mark1980! It's our goal to have the cash out option available as much as possible(and it is by far available most of the time). Blocking the cashout option at certain specific times goes directly against that goal of ours. But same as we can't guarantee the cashout option is blocked at certain times, we also don't guarantee that it'll always be available, because we know it won't be:

The 'Cash Out' function allows the Account Holder the possibility to redeem a bet, which status has not

been settled yet, at its current value. It is available on selected events both in pre-match and live, as

well as on both single and multiple bets. Cash Out functionality cannot be used on free bets. Cash Out

requests might be subject to the same delay procedure as listed in “Section A, Para 4.5”. Should it

happen that during this delay, for whatever reason, either the offer is removed or odds fluctuate, the

Cash Out request will not be accepted and the Account Holder will be notified with an on-screen

message. Unibet reserves the right to offer such functionality solely at its own discretion and does not

acknowledge or accept any liability whatsoever if the Cash Out functionality is not available. Should a

Cash Out request be successful, the bet will be settled immediately and any subsequent events which

occur in relation with the bet will not be taken into account. In the instance of a cashed out bet having

suffered from a technical, pricing or settlement error at any time between the time of original

placement and the cash out, Unibet reserves the right rectify such inaccuracy in accordance with

“Section A, Para 6.2”

The information is found in "General Betting Rules - Common Terms of Referrence", point 3.
