Tough luck @Messwithme, I don't usually place bets on players performances but the one you picked on LeBron should have been "easy money" 😞

For tonight I'll go with a single bet as we don't really have much to pick from and this start of the season was a bit "weird"(at least in my case):

Denver Nuggets - Golden State Warriors GS Warriors(-3.5)@ 1.86 on Unibet

I've also thought about placing a bet on over 225 pts in LA Clippers vs Houston Rockets(that's the line at other bookmakers) but no odds yet on Unibet...

@Marekss that's why is important to search for team news before betting in NBA as so many things can change in 24h between 2 games... for over at Rockets I actually felt it's better without CP3 as he's a guard that likes to keep the ball and his team's attacks with him usually go close to 24 seconds; while on the other hand- even tho we've had just 2 rounds- I can't believe how bad Houston's defense is...

PS. I've backed Warriors even tho Jokic has an impressive start of the regular season (a double double in 1st game and an unreal triple double*35pts, 12reb, 11ast + no turnover, 4 steals and 1 block*) but none of his teammates impressed me and I'm curios how the hosts will look b2b against (IMO) still the best team in the league... so, even tho I don't put many bets on players performances- Nikola Jokic over 22.5pts @1.95 on Unibet looks really good

So, 3 singles for tonight:

1) Denver Nuggets - Golden State Warriors GS Warriors(-3.5)@ 1.86 on Unibet

2) Nikola Jokic over 22.5pts @1.95 on Unibet

3) LA Clippers - Houston Rockets over 222.5@ 1.92 on Unibet

Good night overall, it's still the beginning of the season and any night with profit is a good one :)

We have 9 games for tonight and before I can check the news of the teams and other things I can say that I expect easy wins for Celtics, Raptors, Bucks, Jazz *Warriors has the lowest odds and probably will win against the Suns but it will be b2b for the hosts- it won't be easy, especially after a loss at 2 points on the road and if Booker has a hot night he might lead his team to a big upset; so iIMO t's not woth backing the Warriors at such low odds...

At better odds, Trail Blazers should have enough to get their 3rd W of the season against the "lost" Wizards(I can't recognize this team that didn't make many changes to their roster since last season)... Lakers will be without Ingram and Rondo(both suspended) and it won't be easy against Spurs- IMO we have great value here on the visitors to win...

I'll be back later with a few bets, GL all  :)

Because of Ingram and Rondo, Lebron will have more take on him, it's good time get rebounds & points, let's say close to triple double

What do you think @BillyR23 ?

@Marekss I had the same thought and I won't be surprised to see it happen- I mean a great performance- we're talking about King James after all and the "king's" pride is at stake here, will his team really start the season with 3 losses in a row?! (I might not even place a bet on Spurs after analysing the game)

Miami Heat - New York Knicks Over 18 pts (Dragic, Goran)@ 1.87 on Unibet

The hosts with some squad problems and their star guard- Dragic should get close to 40 minutes of play (like he did 3 days ago against the Hornets)... GL :cash:

A Double for tonight:

Detroit Pistons - Cleveland Cavaliers Pistons(-5.5)@ 1.46 ; LA Lakers - Denver Nuggets @Nikola Jokic double-double(Yes)@ 1.28 -> total odds @1.87 on Unibet

GL :cash:

I just noticed the typo lol* it was Pistons(-5.5 pts)... I wouldn't mind posting the screenshots of the bets but than I might have to translate it from Romanian or make an extra effort to go to to ".com" version and remake the betslip and sometimes I'm just lazy lol

pistons.jpg.c7d0ff8a394281f0bfd1666368ebc8ec.jpg

just look how "ugly" this looks for bets on players performances, only Romanians can understand a screenshot like this... I guess I'll just have to be extra careful before posting the tips as for the moment I think I'll go more for bets on players performances- early season, the bookmakers are really good at making the lines and it's tougher to get value there...

PS. I'll be back in around 30 minutes with 1-2 bets...

Hornets, Warriors, Raptors, Pelicans should win tonight(4fold @1.76 on Unibet) but I prefer to go for 2 singles:

New York Knicks - Golden State Warriors:

Klay Thompson over 17.5 pts@ 1.80 on Unibet

Draymond Green over 7.5 rebounds@ 1.75 on Unibet

Klay Thompson connects on an NBA record 14 3-pointers- WOW, what a game, you have to love this game... here the full game highlights and also this is a great channel for people that can't watch the NBA games live:

Toronto Raptors - Philadelphia 76ers Q1 Raptors(-2)@ 1.91 on Unibet

76ers had started pretty "slow" in all their games this season(even last night they lost the 1st Q against Atlanta 20-25), both teams will come after b2b and it will be interesting to see which team will manage to prepare for this tough game better... Kawhi will be back in the starting lineup and should lead the team to a good start of the game, GL :Cash:

One more single for tonight(the game will start soon): Houston Rockets - Portland Trail Blazers Rockets(-4.5)@ 1.90 on Unibet

Even without Harden, the Rockets (after a few free days) should be able to get past the Trail Blazers which are coming after b2b and 3 pretty tough road games...

FT: 85 -104

A bit disappointed with how the Rockets had played, they clearly miss something this season and for sure it isn't just because the Beard is injured... 1W-5L with 4 games at home and (IMO) good circumstances pretty much before all encounters(like tonight for example when the Trail Blazers came after a tough schedule on the road and b2b...), is just unacceptable 😞

I'm ok with losing bets, nobody can win all bets/ all hands in poker/ all sessions in casino... but my advice is to avoid backing Houston regardless of their opponents (at least until Harden will be back)- the team that impressed me last 2 seasons looks really really bad now and I can't understand why :wonder: ... maybe they need a big shock at their team like in Cleveland's case(impressive performance from the Cavs tonight, tho it was against Atlanta- not the toughest opponent).

Anyways, Happy Halloween everyone and if I won't be able to come back with a few tips later, I've looked on the offer and from the 7 games I would like to back GS Warriors(not sure if it will be worth it at ML and Anthony Davis is GTD- many things change if he'll play) and LA Lakers

@BillyR23 How do you feel about these new restriction of movement rules? Personally I think it's too hard to play defense and the scores early in the season are reflecting it, even though the 14 second offensive rebound rule has speed the game up by a bit as well.

@JeppeL it seems like Adam Silver hates defense and the game is becoming more or less a "shooting contest"...

About the Freedom of Movement rules I've seen so many reactions both positive or negative that I don't really know what to say, for example I always felt like a player grabbing and holding another player off the ball is not a good defense but taking advantage of the referees who prioritize their attention on a play that is happening and I feel like the NBA is asking the refs to pay more attention to the actual rules of basketball...

The 14 second offensive rebound rule has speed the game quite a bit actually(also the changes regarding timeouts) and I think this changes are the reasons why we had so many 230+ points games so far and (like many others) I'm watching the NBA as it's darn entertaining 🆒

PS. regarding betting on NBA it seems tougher (at least in my case as I kind of thought I have value on some under 240 pts lines lol * or other similar bets) but for sure it won't take too much time to adjust for fans/ gambles/ players/ coaches/ TV that transmit the games/ etc. to the new rules :)

Houston at 80 points, third game in a row under 100 :wow: I miss their crazy run an gun style, with plenty of 3`s.

The Bucks make an impact again, dominating in the Oracle 🤣

For tomorrow im thinking about Sacramento, they play extremely fast. Need to see the lines and the line ups first, but hey, Minny didnt win any away game this year (i believe) and they struggled away last year too.
