@Livertool ,

Not really. Even in Grand Slams things like this happen. They can change partners right before the 1st game of that tournament , so nothing is sure there. There are some deadlines when they sign up in a tournament , but , there are as well some exceptions , due to injury , sickness, etc...

That is why i find it bit strange cause Martin is playing with another partner too. Injury or sickness especially these corona times would be reasonable. But it is what it is, Mahut and Martin just made my blackbook of enemies 😛

What i can think of is that , you know , all these past years , all 4 of them played so much together and maybe when they took part separated in a few tournaments it was just due to some medical issues for at least one of them.

Herbert/Mahut are a legendary team , especially on clay courts  and Chardy/Martin are doing very well as well...so maybe it was just an arrangement until they could see if all 4 of them are 100% ready to play a Grand Slam.

Gilles Simon had a huge opportunity , at least to win the 2nd set , but , in hist style , he blew it away so easily. But he came back nicely in the 3rd set and let's see if he is up for a major surprise at home. This gives up as well the answer to our daily question , as we already had 35 games played this evening between these 2 :

How many games, in total , will this match have? Answer : D : 35 or over number of games played in total in this match.

I will do the raffle within the next hour!

With this inspired pick , each of you collected 1 point for the most correct daily picks throughout the competition. And this could turn out to be a very important one.

There will be 35 members to join the raffle - Day 3 ,that were inspired enough to predict the correct outcome. The lucky ones that will stand a chance of winning a €30 prize

Tsitsipas was quite in a rush today to finish as soon as possible , as he wants to save some energy for the next, much harder, match-ups in the following days , so he came out as the winner today in under 2 hours , with no real hope for Cuevas to upset the favourite. 2nd set was the most intense one , where we had 10 games of play , number that gives us the answer to our daily question :

In which set of this match we will see the highest number of games played ? Answer : B : In the 2nd set of the match we will have the most games played.

I will do the raffle within the next hour!

With this inspired pick , each of you collected 1 point for the most correct daily picks throughout the competition. And this could turn out to be a very important one.

There will be 26 members to join the raffle - Day 5 ,that were inspired enough to predict the correct outcome. The lucky ones that will stand a chance of winning a €30 prize are :

Simona Halep passed like a TGV train next to a sleeping Anisinova , with an impressive 6-0 in the opening set. Even though things got a little bit better for the american in the 2nd one , she could not stop by any means the Halep storm. We had 6 breaks of service in this match , number that gives us the answer to our daily question :

How many"breaks" will there be , in total , from both players, in this match? Answer : D : "Breaks" count will be at 6 or over  in this match , in total ,from both players.

I will do the raffle within the next hour!

With this inspired pick , each of you collected 1 point for the most correct daily picks throughout the competition. And this could turn out to be a very important one.

There will be 40 members to join the raffle - Day 6 ,that were inspired enough to predict the correct outcome. The lucky ones that will stand a chance of winning a €30 prize are :

On this rainy saturday evening in Paris , Novak didn't had to work that much to get into the next round of Roland Garros , saving some energy for the much tougher fights coming next week. But he did made quite a high number of unforced errors in only 3 sets of play , and combined that with those expected from Galan , we get to 53 , which givs us the answer to our daily question :

How many unforced errors we will have , from both players, in total , in the match ? Answer : B : 51-52-53-54-55 unforced errors, from both players ( Djokovic + Galan ) , in total , in this match.

I will do the raffle within the next hour!

With this inspired pick , each of you collected 1 point for the most correct daily picks throughout the competition. And this could turn out to be a very important one.

There will be 18 members to join the raffle - Day 7 ,that were inspired enough to predict the correct outcome. The lucky ones that will stand a chance of winning a €30 prize are :
