Fascinating approach to trading....

I have net deposits of over £1750 with you, and now you simply refuse my £20 bets AND cut the price without taking the money? You should be ashamed to call yourself a bookmaker. I bet between £20 and £40, most often £25 would be average I suppose, and now you summarily refuse action and still move? Quite pathetic really. Will you be returning my lost money? Thought not.

@Sandy What were you trying to bet on, where the stake was denied? When it happens, there should be an option to send the proposed bet for a manual check at the Sportsbook - usually completed within 15 minutes - did you try this?

The bet was referred and straight rejected, and you cut the price immediately after rejecting my bet - no offer was made. I am talking about your practice of taking my money and then refusing my business. I shall be highlighting your practices to all who will listen. Utterly appalling.

This is wierd... but trust me, they are not interested in your 1.75k pounds at all, there're must be another reason. And any restrictions made are not coming from Unibet, it's coming from bookie operator.
Are you using tips or placing bets on your own? They could place limits on the markets with possible fraud.
For more than 10 years with Unibet I had never have any experience like yours. On certain markets I have maximum limits up to 60-70k.

Hey @Sandy, I'll raise a case about this and see what our traders say. But trust me, there is no ill intentions from our side to limit you or to restrict certain bets when they "would've been" winning ones. We can not know which bet will win and which will lose.

Thank you. Though it isn't the first time a bet has been straight rejected, so I don't buy the argument you make here. It is insulting to be treated like scum. Perhaps you will like to propose returning my entire net deposits instead and closing my account once you have done so since you never gave me the chance to "gamble responsibly" and win back what I had lost before you started making these decisions to straight up decline my bets?

@Sandy Though I understand your frustration on not being able to place the bets you'd like, I can't relate that having a bet rejected is to "be treated like scum".
The idea of trying to win back what is lost also doesn't coincide with responsible gambling, as we'd never want for any player to play for more than what they consider to be fun.

But like I said, I do understand why you'd like to be able to place your bets without any sort of trouble and as such @ReCorpH is inquring with our Sportsbook about potential market limitations.

Sorry for giving the information about he possiblity of sending bets for a manual check, while it works for most of our bet offerings, the feature isn't available on horse racing bets.

Well, you tow the party line, I know your operation has been fined in the past for failures. I'm pointing out the simple facts here...

1. You have made money out of me. I can accept that, but assuming you were still taking my bets. I could accept being restricted if I was not down significantly.

2. You ARE straight up refusing my business now, I am treated like scum. Your Best Odds Guaranteed is not available to me, I am now restricted and you straight up refused what would have been a winning bet - and I complained about this straight refusal and your instant price cut following this BEFORE the horse won. I feel like you're goading me. So now it's ethical practice to do this? To take my money before, then now you refuse it but still make trading decisions off my attempt to place a bet as a losing customer with a losing record. I am still waiting to hear back.

To be clear Jeppe, I don't chase. My bet history is fairly clear on that. Over a period of time your traders have made mincemeat out of my business, and this is more about the ethics of that fact vs. summarily straight up refusing my business and using these attempts to place a bet to move a price for whatever reason.

So please spare me from any more nonsense about some Unibet social responsibility angle. Not what I am getting at, at all. You have been trying to win off me, and I have been trying to win off you - without much success. You're winning. I could understand such decisions to straight up refuse my business if I was winning off you, but I am not.

@Sandy I'm sorry you don't want my reply, but since you're writing on our public platform, you'll have to deal with the fact that all members of the community can chime in, inluding myself. You are welcome to use our 1 to 1 live chat if it's more comfortable for you.

Just for good measure like @FunckyFish asks as well, did you try and place the bet more than one time? If an odds change is happening before the bet is placed, it could lead to that bet being refused.

I can have our Sportsbook check if there were any placement issues happening at the time and your account as well, I'll create that case and let you know what we hear back.

The Sportsbook is definitely not trying to goad you and change in pricing for sure isn't happening on the basis of one player attempting to place a £20 bet. I understand how you saw the price change happening in real time after your bet attempt was rejected, but it's coincidental timing as prices can change quite often as I'm sure you're aware. Make the statement that I'm trying to defend the indefensible all you want, but odds changes happen all the time and it has nothing to do with us thinking you are scum or anything like that :)

I was not re-offered the bet at new odds. The bet was straight rejected then you changed the price.

Please stop, unless your site works differently to how it worked before this is simply a case of simply refusing the bet then moving. I had bets referred and accepted in the past, now I have have bets referred and straight refused without any explanation.

This may be a community based platform but it seems clear you are way out of your depth on this matter, or are wilfully ignoring what I have repeatedly stated. Or both.

Spare me the smiley faces too. I don't know why in 2020 CS people think this is an appropriate way to communicate.

@Sandy I was trying to figure out if you tried to place the bet again after the 1st stake was rejected and whether or not that stake was rejected as well.

It can definitely happen that our traders don't take anymore in stake on certain bets, that's market limits and if you bet frequently there's a good chance it will occur at some point.

Have you had problems with placing other bets as well?

You've started the thread and said we treat you like scum and that we should be reported for fraud, on the basis of a rejected £20 stake. While I do understand why you're frustrated on missing out those winnings, you're implying that we would somehow know the winner beforehand and that we are somehow messing with you personally. I can't agree with this statement.

Let me ask you this, in your opinion, what would be an proper solution on this for you? You've mentioned that we should add money on your account for lost bets in the past, but that just doesn't seem sensible to me as your previous play isn't connected to this bet.

@Want2Believe Arbitrage on a horse race? At 22/1? That only makes sense if he is exchange betting, I think he’s just having a little moan cos he’s nearly 2 grand down

@Sandy @stop throwing your toys out the pram I’m sure you’d be thanking them if the horse lost and you saved 20 quid, unless you’re trying to accuse Unibet of mastering time travel there’s no way they knew they where rejecting a winning bet. Sounds like you need a break
