Scammed by Unibet Voiding my bet After I won

You guys need to look into Voiding my bet after I was awarded the winnings. I won fair and square. The winnings were awarded and I then made some bets with those winnings, bets I never would have made if I hadn't won the previous bet I am referring to.

The reason for the void is you claim the bet was made after the game had started. If this is even true the game had not had any time for points to have been scored...if it had even started as you claim. I have serious doubt as to that claim.

Please make good on the wager so I won't have to go through the trouble of taking my sports betting elsewhere, as I truly enjoy the convenience of playing poker on the same site as sports betting.

Thanks in advance.

@WileyHack Ok so the bet was placed 5 seconds after the game started, and following our rules it's been voided:

"As per our rule under  A.5.6.a.i where as:

  • __Furthermore, all bets placed (and/or accepted) in the following circumstances will be declared void:
    a. Pre-match betting
information.png?fromIssue=1204753 Betting effected after the event has started;"

While the Sportsbook have to stick with the rules for this settlement, we'd like to solve it as best we can for you here through the community. But first I have to ask, what was the deal with placing and cashing in the same bet just a couple of minutes prior to placing the one which ended up voided?

Okay I guess that was my mistake. Thanks though for looking into this.

To answer your question: I initially thought I had made a mistake but then realized I had not. I was rushed as the timer was nearing zero (game was about to start).

Thank-you once again. My apologies as well.

But it does occur to me to ask, how is it even possible to place a bet after the game has started? If I had lost would I have been refunded? I'd like to think so.

One thing for sure is that bets should not be accepted if they are not going to be honored.

@WileyHack, I agree. Not sure how it was possible in this case, most likely due to a small delay. The bet was placed some seconds after the start, and as such as per T&C was voided. We've issued you a freebet for the value of the winnings approximately, hope this compensates it a bit. :)
