  1. @Pokerist_LV Previously each buy in for cash games had to generate 300 flops to cash the ticket ( 300 for 1 x โ‚ฌ400, 600 for 2 x โ‚ฌ400 etc) but these were reduced to 50 flops per buy in when it was pointed out that a fair bit of rake would have to be paid to cash out the ticket when rake had already been paid to receive the bonus points, a sort of double rake. However the last level of 10 buy is was left the same at 3,000 flops for some players (my name was mentioned ๐Ÿค“) who like to keep track of how many flops they've seen. I don't buy the top tier now as you can see the number of flops if you ask for a report from CS. ๐Ÿ˜ฌ
  2. THE FINAL FREEROLL It seems like a long time after the missions finished until the Anniversary Missions Special, 7 days, but eventually it turned up last night. There were 255 players at the off, late reg for 8 x 5min levels, dragging another 19 in. One hundred places paid, so a healthy 34.5%, as Stubbe kept saying, "Great value." Looking at those figures my main objective was to reach the money, min payout โ‚ฌ10, not very lofty but quite possibly achievable. In the end I limped through the bubble, one winning all in being enough, and every few minutes after managing to find another winning hand, eventually... ... far better than I hoped for. I've used all the tickets gained from the missions but not kept track of how well I've done with them (not very to be fair) however I'm calling them very successful from my point of view. Fun Factor: 10/10 obviously ๐Ÿฅณ๐Ÿฅณ๐Ÿฅณ
  3. Nice start with the tickets but you're going to have to manage them and not get too many of one sort at time, extremely unlikely to impossible to get them extended (maybe for a proper emergency.) Good luck. ๐Ÿ€
  4. There is no counter update except for the whole day, so you (or someone) will have to play 10 Extremes to see if they work, possibly a touch frustrating if they don't. I'll give it a miss for the time being.
  5. A different experience tonight, for the first time ever watching a match on S4C, the Welsh language channel, with English subtitles. Why am I watching this classic encounter? Well there's the World Curling Championships as an alternative. ๐Ÿ˜ฌ
  6. More cash flops is fine ๐Ÿ‘ but TEN Hexas a DAY?????๐Ÿฅด
  7. UPDATE I've finished the two cash tickets, after hardly using them at all for the anniversary missions for which they were bought. The โ‚ฌ4 was โ‚ฌ20, 250 flops, the โ‚ฌ10 was โ‚ฌ30, 150 flops. For some reason these days I feel more comfortable playing โ‚ฌ10, and this has been reflected in my stats over the last couple of months. As you can see they are only small sample sizes so the next step is to play much more. I'm going to clear my account at the end of this month (over โ‚ฌ300 up ๐Ÿ˜‡) and play with the 10,000 BP's that will be left in the shop, sticking to โ‚ฌ4 cash games for the time being to try and get some meaningful sample sizes. I had collated nearly 9,000 hands at โ‚ฌ4 and over 30,000 at โ‚ฌ10, still smallish samples, but that was the old way of playing, getting bored, tilting, short sessions, trying to book a win as soon as possible and loads of other reccy? behaviour. I'll update again on the last day of the month and (maybe) set some small achievable goals, maybe start a new blog, (yet again.)
  8. I watched The Gentlemen over two nights, very unusual for me as I normally only watch 1 or 2 episodes per day, but as you say, well worth it. Only one or two small quibbles, from watching our Vinnie in the past I thought he was underused, and being totally honest the end was slightly disappointing, to me a t least, I won't spoil it and say why, but highly recommended anyway. I have Shogun on my to watch list and will start it as soon as all episodes are available. I read the book many years ago and watched the mini series with Richard Chamberlain, I'm expecting this to be a far different take.
  9. Hi @SkilfulPoker I'm not sure why they're not showing there but there is a tourney every 1 1/2 hours , same as the flips.
  10. CONCLUSIONS I'm reasonably happy with the overall results, some tricky passages, some easy, but a profit overall and an extra + of nearly โ‚ฌ20 of tickets won, (haven't counted the cash spins as they are in ยฃ and can't be bothered to convert.). Not something I normally play but the special avatars and even better table backgrounds are quite tempting. Worth doing just for the discipline and variety, though too many don't actually need any input from the player, basically just waiting for a specific event to happen. Fun Factor: A grudging 7/10. ๐Ÿ˜ฌ
  11. DAY 21 Started so well, the first 2 were 1.5, won both but then got in a rut. Eventually 1hr 7 mins, 9 games, 221 hands, a profit of โ‚ฌ0.50 ( I won a โ‚ฌ5 ) The best one by a street. Fun factor: 5/10
  12. DAY 20 An hour and a quarter, 180 hands, in the end after having been up to over 90BB a disappointing profit of โ‚ฌ1.12. BullyBoy Fun Factor: 5/10
  13. Thanks for the shove profit wise. ๐Ÿ‘ I was going to play in the community thing on Thursday night, even sat there at the beginning, didn't realise there weren't enough starters or would have jumped in. Was also going to play last night but the bubble in the tourney I was in started right about the same time so I decided to give it a miss. Good luck today, I usually hit quickly or much more often take forever and lose too much. ๐Ÿฅด Take it steady.
  14. Just a quick update on the horse racing front before I leave this blog, as I'm no longer betting with UB there seems no point updating here. ๐Ÿ˜ญ On to Cheltenham, the best horse racing festival in the world. I used to go one or two days every year, it became the annual pilgrimage but I've not been for a long time, still look forward to it every year and watch on the telly. DAY 1 Looking back the exchanges usually seemed to be better than SP's so I decided to shift to them. DAY 2 DAY 3 DAY 4 Eight winners from twenty seven, โ‚ฌ44.85 profit, maybe UB were right to stop me receiving promos, ๐Ÿค” onwards and upwards. ๐Ÿ€๐Ÿฅ‚
  15. DAY 19 (yesterday) That turned out to be somewhat of an interesting experience. I played two tourneys, one going quite deep without cashing and the other over fairly quickly, no bounties, ๐Ÿฅฒ then went for the โ‚ฌ1 Banzai. Great fun, third hand took out two players, 5 hands later another two, no stopping me now. Eventually 12 bounties and 2nd place from 40 entries. ๐Ÿ˜€ Happy days. ๐Ÿ˜€ Not so fast, the promo page didn't update, no ticket, no new avatar. A quick check and a horrid realisation that tourneys had to be a minimum โ‚ฌ2 buy in. Being a poker player I had to blame someone, this time @HardGain takes the rap as I'd seen his screenshot showing all โ‚ฌ1 and โ‚ฌ2 bounty tourneys so just dived in. ๐Ÿคจ So onto the next, another PLO, lasted about 5 hands in that one.๐Ÿ˜’ All this while watching the racing at Cheltenham ( a highly successful 4 days for me) making a meal, hosting a neighbour, arranging the weekend by text messages, and a chat with the window cleaner. So finally a bit of peace and quiet at 17:15, next tourney. This time it was the 16th hand to take a bounty, time to relax. Just short of another 3 hours, 11 more bounties, โ‚ฌ19.50 won, and 7th place from 174 entries. ๐Ÿคฃ In total 5 played, 6hrs 16 mins, 603 hands, โ‚ฌ8 spent and a profit of โ‚ฌ27.07. Very happy days. ๐Ÿ‘ WhaleMeetAgain Fun Factor: 9/10 (eventually.)
