  1. Thank god. Way overdue.
  2. Changes all look good imo and I advocated for this type of move years ago. 10NL was the old sweet spot for low stake regs that could play higher but don't due to rake and I'm glad it's removed. Lowering the rake at 25NL makes the jump in stakes for players a lot easier and this is a good thing. The next thing that needs to be done to increase promo spend is the reduction in rb% for players reaching the stratosphere of point accumulation per quarter. Sorry to those players but it has to be done.
  3. Could you guys email or PM me my lifetime results for 10EURO 5 man SNGs?
  4. @Leo-Unibet and staff, I brought up my displeasure with the shallow structure of the quarterly 100k point tourney a while back as 1500 chips just isn't enough play time for a prestigious tourney. Leo countered with a very valid point about the horrendous bubble problem. I have a solution which will also help UO says. Make it a 7500/10k prizepool. 3 top prizes and the remainder in 250/50 tickets and if you go the 10k route add more tickets down to 10UO's. The 100k mark is a logical quarterly goal for serious rec players. This added money will entice more users to reach this milestone. Drop a few k off of your next wasted money take race if you can't justify the added budget. Money far better spent.
  5. @Leo-Unibet I don't advocate reversing a decision without it getting a fair trial as any reverses by nature instill a feeling of non confidence in the overall site. So instead if you seem this recent change not to get the desired result then how about a compromise... Players can exchange up to 1k worth of tickets per quarter. This sum should allow all recs to exchange at will... but prevents the 250/50uo grinders from rinsing and repeating. Just a thought.
  6. I got to ask... what Country do you live in? Because I have to try and convince the wife :)
  7. I posted this in another thread about the topic and my conclusions are that this is going to be at best neutral for Unibet. The decline in UO participation isn't due to exchangers.... sure people will rinse and recycle which doesn't help the 250's but adventually they are going to play in the final. But on the flip side there are regs like @WuDu who will just stop playing. This from an ecology standpoint helps as I assume he's a "winning player" and recs have a better chance of moving up the sat tree... but he does provide rake and he does prevent overlays. The real problem isn't the ticket exchange but the poor offerings in terms of satellites to the 250. The 50eu on Sunday (I'm sure the most popular) starts at the same time as the UO250. Winners of the 50 are being asked to late reg 1.5 hours into the 250 which turns off a lot of people. The 10euro multibuy should be flipped to a rebuy.... and speaking of rebuys they aren't being utilized nearly enough. The rake on them was done perfectly so the issue is their lack of abundancy. Sub sats on Sundays should be done based on conceivable end times in relation to the next branch up the ladders start time. Furthermore the "winning tickets" formula should be balanced off with other offerings where the winners get entered into the target tourney during late reg like other sites do.
  8. I have to be honest and say that this move is at best neutral. You are going to have a better flow upwards of satellite winners since they must play the higher ones but you are going to lose out on the many players that adventually will play the finals for UO's. I mean in the end if a player has 100 50UO tickets they are worth nothing... so once he feels safe he will play the 250. I imagine this is a good portion of the regs in the UO sat tree... so I don't expect much change from Unibet's POV. The principle problem for UO's is a terrible lack of satellites and more specifically the timing of them. Today there was a 50UO sat that ended in level 6 of the 250UO. Both tourneys started roughly the same time. Why not move that 50UO an hour earlier. Furthermore there's just not enough of them nor the feeders. Perhaps taking a page out of the SN supersats might be a good idea for UO'S on Sunday. The 10 multibuy should be immediately changed to a rebuy. And there's no reason you couldn't run more rebuys to the 250 starting at two pricepoints. 5euro rebuy (good structure/more players) with 1 seat guaranteed and a 10euro with 2 seats guaranteed. Assuming an overlay in the 250 any money lost in overlays of the feeder sats on these is still a positive if it provides more players to the target. I don't expect much overlay though if the structure is ok. Longterm you guys need to cut away from only tickets (especially on Sundays). Having the ability to "lock players in" to target events is the best way to ensure stable and predictable guarantees.
  9. KK curse is real. Yesterday with 12 left in the UO Dublin 250 euro buy in with 5 packages I get KK in cutoff... I minraise and the button shoves and the BB calls. Button 55, BB AK. 4 card flush and 55 wins. The winner of that hand guaranteed a UO package. Doh
  10. This is me in my prime prior to marriage and 4 kids.
  11. @theMachine valid point sir. Will be done in a few hours... just seeking the right action shot.
  12. Due to Unibet obviously tallying the points against me in a grand conspiracy I will submit to this "moustache photo op" to give the legions of Sectoholics something to aspire at. Photo coming within 12 hours.
  13. Well done sir on the Nano board. I tell you I'd have easily been ahead of you but the mental stress my wife has put me under for wearing this moustache for a few weeks is beyond words. Needless to say it has affected my play as my results have steadily gone worse. Hit that #1 spot as back to back would be quite impressive.
  14. Well done. To cash in your 1st live event is awesome.
  15. I'm likely to end up with excessive UOS tickets despite playng all events. Will extra 25 UOS tickets just be converted to regular mtg tickets or perhaps SNG tickets?
  16. Nice result today!!! At the high tier it's about cash and points secondary. I went out in 4th with Ak losing to T8. 8jq flop for the madman chip leader. I played decent all day and cashed in the high bounty. In the rebut one I doubled twice pre add-on and had a 30k stack post add on and sucked for a bit then lost 2 flips back to back. Gl tomorrow.
  17. Down to the final 5 in the UOS rebuy gl me
  18. (back to 80's wrestler voice) Sunshine you may have gotten the best of me yesterday by blind luck intervention... but today is my time to shine. 1st place in the non moustache division with 63 left.
  19. Congrats on the win!! The player in between us was awful imo and figured you'd get his big stack. I'm way down to 60th on the nano lb and sitting 22nd on the overall due to doing well in the low lb. Surprisingly I'm doing well in plo events which I seldom play and couldn't list off the top 5 starting hands.
  20. Doh he did me in himself lol PLO Board of A 7 3 with 2 spades. I have Ks7s7d Tc. Any spade is good... any MetalWolf not having AA is good... oh wait he did have it lol. Nice playing with ya and take it down and rub them points on your Moustache.
  21. Me and @MetalWolf in the final 14 of the NANO PLO on the same table. Lets go baby.
