Hey Unibeters,Due to the responses received from several of my existing fantasy CricketXI players I have decided to run my two (Classic & Head to Head) small stakes fantasy money leagues on this season's Metro Bank One-Day Cup. This will probably only be of interest to folk in the UK or ex pats of the UK (but any ones welcome to join in - if you like cricket or wanna get into it join it).I’ve just set up my 2 leagues - one is an open league where you’re all on a ladder based on your total fantasy points scored. The other is a head-to-head type league where you play one other team from the league each round and you win, lose or tie. A win is 4 points, a Tie 2 points and a loss 0. Every time I click on Promos I see a huge page of offers and feel slighted that I can't avail myself of them - think I hardly log in to Unibet now as just go place my bets elsewhere after seeing who's got best price on Odds Checker. I only bet a few horses here and there on Unibet over the last year and then got gubbed - told I can no longer get BOG or do any horse racing promos. This was a shock as I not only did not many bets (imo) on Unibet but also have been a loser consistently (am pretty well down) so it was right out of left field to be getting that e-mail. I thought only winners or arbers etc., had problems with restrictions on sports books but seems I was wrong on that. It sadly seems like it's not really a book making industry anymore but a profit driven business where only the degenerate losers are wanted and anyone else not deemed profitable in the long term is weeded out - the ALGORITHM SAYS NO!

Am I allowed to advertise my fantasy sports leagues on this forum? I never thought about it and am sad I never filled my fantasy county cricket Head-to-Head small stakes money league (only got 11 players and max/wanted was 16). Just be good to know if I can spread word of my games here in future - always hard getting strangers to trust one online but spreading word is also hard as not many places to reach interested parties online. I currently use Discord, Facebook, Twitter and TheFanPub forum. This being a gambling forum just maybe people who like betting on sports would be more open to partaking in fantasy sports money leagues? So over to you Unibet mods....

@GR1ZZL3R Exactly that - they all pool info and share black lists plus run software to track you like lovation. Also maybe your an Exchange trader or work in the sports industry and it's on your linked-in or social media profiles. I myself have been a degenerate gambler and never was refused a bet or been KYC'ed when losing thousands in a day but as soon as I bet smart, I take offers, bet smart, have a purple patch and slowly increase my balances I have suffered restrictions, been gubbed or had account closed. So many Sportsbooks I'm no longer fully welcome at. Sooner UK (if ever to many MP's in industry's pocket,) gets a minimum bet law and then not allowed to refuse business the better. Never seen the American 'House of Cards' but know it was a remake of a great British TV series I watched many many years ago - it also had 2 sequels - 'To Play The King' and can't recall third ones title off the top of my head.

Hey are you an NFL fantasy football fanatic - yes, then read on… Well if the answers yes please check out my 1 & Done game. I have 4 entries this year plus a guy in waiting that said he would come in if I get 5+. You have to pick a whole new entry each week of season including Playoffs. But you can never use choices (Head Coaches/Players/Team Defences) more than once. Hence name of game - 1 & Done. The other thing that makes it so hard is post season rounds are worth more points x2 (Wild Card), x3 (Divisional Playoffs) x4 (Championship Games) & x5 (Super Bowl). So it's a headache strategy wise. Do you use studs early but struggle in post season for good players to pick or do you save them but then discover they get hurt or don't make it as far as you thought and thus never get to use them? So much thought needs to go in each week plus you need to keep a check on your picks to make sure you've not used them prior. Its £20 for the season and all entry fee money goes back out as prizes so more entries makes the competition better. You can change your mind on your choices but rule is entry must be posted on the TFP (The FanPub) forum thread before first game of any day. Never edit an entry as I use the Post Times to validate entries so an edit invalidates it as it could have been edited after games start. Always make a fresh new post if changing mind on picks. Have a read of full rules (link below). It's like fantasy NFL leagues with points for Yards, TDs etc. All scoring is posted on the thread via pictures. There is a link to my spread sheet on Google sheets where I score everyone's points and you can see all other players entries (including mine - as I play to) with points updated all season long. I am an avid TV series and Box Set watcher - always have about 50 shows/series on the go at any one time. I just recently finished Justified. It takes me ages to finish things as I rotate them - so will usually do a season and then put it to back of queue. When I finish a TV series I do a little review on FB and give it a mark out of 10. Alas many series in the past it seems I forgot to rate or review but been keeping a list on my PC. I am a notoriously tight grader. Most things will get between 4-6 with me, below that I really did not like it - above that was really something that stood out and I enjoyed a lot. Is there any NFL competitions or promotions in here? I think many years ago I saw one - stumbled on it near the end of the season and thought I'll have some of that next year, alas never to see it again.

I know this is the most unlikely place to find the perfect replacement but I am searching for one dedicated active long term player who genuinely supports an AFC team (not already represented) for my Auction Draft league with crazy rules like Player Poaching. Naturally being a dynasty league it's not level - some franchises are super strong and the challenge is getting used to the rules and then forming a strategy, finding an angle so that over the long haul you turn your team around and can compete to win a Super Bowl down the line. That's where the satisfaction and achievement comes - when you successfully do that. It means they don't want your business - all bookies (sports books) do it if you win consistently, take value prices, beat the over round, do to many offers and or generally do anything that makes you look like you won't be profitable in the long term. It's not book making anymore - but algorithms and trading decisions based on a rating of how much a mug one is as to how much your allowed to bet. You being limited to zero means your not deemed a loser - I bet you can still stake as much as you want in Games & Casino though.

This is a known issue in the sports betting world and all firms use these KYC checks to prevaircate and try to delay or not pay out winners. There are videos on Youtube and discussions on Twitter - many have found when calling said bookies out in pubic (via posts on Twitter for instance) often changes the sports books mind and they pay out but most who have gone that route find afterwards they are gubbed (not allowed bonus offers anymore ie BOG, MBS, Price Boosts etc.) or restricted - limited to how much they can stake. Industry is curropt - it don't like nor tolerate winners:

Champions League for me went down hill when it became not just Champions in it. I miss the old days when clubs from less glamorous Leagues could compete to win it all like Red Star and Ajax. Salary Caps would be good but saying the ESL destroyed football and was greed by the Premier League is at her rich when they did the very same thing in 1992 breaking away from the FA / Football League to form the Premier League or as it was called then the Premiership as they wanted more of the money and not to have it so equally shared. I think for the regular fan it's been terrible. A few clubs got richer and dominate, the rest pick up the scraps, cost of tickets, merchandise has rocketed and TV coverage is all pay TV, no games on free to air TV anymore. As for the clubs themselves it's not been great either as a buisness model as all the extra TV money and income from tickets and merchandise has mainly gone to agents and inflated players wages. Only really have the top division players done well out of this over the last 20 years with there wages going up and up and up. How this was allowed to happen I don't get but can only be thru clubs spending silly amounts to buy success, rich owners with more money than sense or state backers wanting prestige at any price. I still like football but it has no soul. Even international competitions for me are no longer pure with ever diluted qualification requirements, players changing allegiance where by big nations give citizenship to young lads who come over and prove to be good. How many African players end up representing for France that way. Then there's the finals instead of a open draw in a World Cup or Euros it's weighted so the organisers can almost guarantee the bigger nations won't meet to the quarter finals onwards all for TV most likely but to me spoils it. Means an underdog can almost never hope to win. I'd much prefer every team that qualifies be placed in a draw for the groups that is not ranked. It could throw up groups of death but also give the smaller nations real hope to go far if ended up in a group of similar strength nations as after such it's knock out. I like it when small underdogs upset the status quo - like when Greece won the Euros once.

This is the thread where you can bemoan your bad losses or missed opportunities with out clogging up any other threads - it helps to vent... I'll start with the coupon busters on yesterdays Premiership games - I swerved Man City but had Chelsea in every single treble and 5 fold that I did for £10 and £5 respectively at over half the books I have accounts with where I had a balance. Was so sure on the Treble of Spurs, Chelsea and Liverpool I did that treble everywhere for a tenner and then added Man Utd and Leicster (for today) to make a 5 fold for fiver at all the books to. Even with Tammy Abraham out I felt with WHU's form leading in to this - not won in what 6-7 games it was a banker for Chelsea at home. Damn its hit my bank rolls all over big loss - been a long time since I did repeat bets everywhere - only do that every so often as some books have inactive account fees so when I see a bet I really like and feel is nailed on (as much as any bet can be) which I felt that one was at just over evens I do it all over the shop. The sports books with Chelsea losing and Man City drawing must have cleaned up huge Saturday - every single acca on the Premier League yesterday must have died I reckon! :waterfall:

Well what can I say each person will go based on their own experiences - I will still pop in here - the community from time to time but it would take something special to get me to redeposit and bet with Unibet again.

But I wanted to leave some feed back. Earlier tonight I was in chat and the reprasentive just went without saying anything left me talking to myself. That was the final straw. Ever since being transfered over from StanJames I've not enjoyed the Unibets site lay out. Promotions often not given and no way to prove them - other times free bets expire before using them. Its always hard to get to speak to a human when you want help and genrally nothing seems to be as smooth as it should - often the odds are not competitive. The second to last straw was the free £5 bet I believed I'd earned yesterday and couldn't find today and as the promotion is passed I could not provide a link to it so was told nothing could be done as I couldn't prove it. Then the way you Unibet settle some markets is so different to what I expected and other sports books do. All in all I thought it was time to part ways so just withdrew my £1,235 to go play elsewhere. I'm based in UK and find rivals sites I like much better. Those I bet with most often are Bet365, Paddy Power and Sky Bet. PP and SB both have rewards/clubs where you can earn free bets by betting a certain amount weekly. B365 and SB both do not expire free bets (B365 call them bet credits) and as long as your an active account so done something within the last 6 months they stay there until you use them - no time limits. FANTASIC - Unlike Unibet I look in my expired history and see £15 worth of free bets there I did not notice or know I earned intime to use before losing them as you kill them after 3-7 days depending on promo. Had I had them at those other sports books they would still be good to this day to use like my cash balance when I want. Lastly when I look for a good price always one of the others beats you either on odds or promo wise. Quite often I will take a slightly less big price on Bet365 because in both singles and accas they do things like 2 up (in soccer) its marked as a winner - don't matter what happens after that. PP do this also but only in certain top league football like the Premier League, La Liga and Champions League where as 365 do it in on ALL football markets any legaue or division or competition. Also Bet365 do 17 points ahead in the NFL (Amercian Football) and it to is marked as a winner so if a single paid out early or if part of an acca marked as a winner (so doesnt matter if team goes on to lose). Excellent stuff which Unibet does nothing of the sort of. I am surprissed Unibet does not lose more players unless these bookmakers are not in many foreign markets you are and so those players have no choice - but if your in the UK or Ireland those 3 beat Unibet hands down for vlaue, odds, promos and rewards - plus each of there sites is far better laid out imho. bluelionman signing off.

I won so many of these but I forget to use the the 2 times just aint convienent for me as i wrk then - alas I did lay in a standard $25 freeroll a week or 2 back - won - a prize was 5 Euro or something ticket to another tourney but expired before i got to use it... almost makes all this ❤️♥️❤️ a complete waste of time. Thought a freeroll for $25 would mean there was that in prizes not a ticket to another freeroll to another freeroll and so on its like a bunch of string bets!
