France-Albania

@France to score in both halfs @ 2.02 --- Not even close. France waited for the 89th minute to score; 1st/2nd= 0/2

I would've liked to bet on France HT/FT France/France, but I think you guys have been betting the value out of it...

@Today I'll play the boosted odds on Vardy to score against Slovakia @ 3.50

Once again, for tomorrow, I'll go with a boost; this time the combined wins for Poland and Germany. Both will be chasing the group win to secure an easier road through knockout stage.

@Poland & Germany wins @ 3.00 +++ 1-0 and 1-0 wins

Still, the main bet for the day is something else; I'll bet heavily on Argentina to win against USA in Copa America Centenario. Straigt up win at 1.45 my main bet+++@, but I'll also bet HT/FT Argentina/Argentina @ 2.23+++@, Argentina to beat the Asian Handicap -1.5 @ 2.40+++@, Argentina to lead by two goals at half time @ 5.50+++@ and Argentina to beat the -2 Asian Handicap @ 3.70+++. The last two with quite small bets as longshots, but the HT/FT and the AH-1.5 with decent amount.

USA will be missing Wood, Jones and Bedoya through suspensions, and they lack the kind of back-up players to deal with an increasingly impressive Argentina team. Argentina missing Gaitan through suspension, but that's just a positive thing. He's been weak, and the replacement-options have all played a lot better than him; Lamela, Levazzi, Aguero or the likes.

Messi seem in fine form after his injury-worries keeping him out in group stage. An amazing hat trick as substitute against Panama, and a perfect assist for Higuain early against Venezuela in the quarter final. Home advantage only helps so much, and Argentina will most likely demolish USA in this one. Unlike some of theother South American sides, Argentina also have a good defensive midfield, keeper and centerbacks, so it won't be easy for USA to counter attack on them either. Besides Clint Dempsey, they lack quality upfront with Bobby W out, so it would be an amazing achievement by the Americans if they get a result here (even just forcing a penalty shoot-out).

Mod have moved my last reply to the "Daily picks-thread@" they created for 21/06, so I'll just make this reply to keep track. Poland and Germany both snagged a 1-0 win to secure the Euro-boost pick @ 3.00, and Argentina did as expected and secured in every bet I had on the game with a 2-0 lead at halftime and a dominating 4-0 in the end. It was, as expected, a huge difference in quality, and whenever Argentina pusherd the tempo USA fell apart and lost the ball:

@Argentina @ 1.45

@Argentina/Argentina @ 2.23

@Argentina HT-1.5 @ 5.50

@Argentina AH-1.5 @ 2.40

@Argentina AH-2 @ 3.70

@After I made the picks, I also got a campaign boost for my Poland/Germany-picks at 18.00s Euro-matches, and spent it on Argentina to score over 2.5 @ 2.95 boosted to 4.90...

boost2.jpg.b771afb678b569d22bbd85761f39a803.jpg

A pretty perfect night :catvery-happy:

My picks overall in this thread: 3/5 picks correct (counting my Argentina pick as one)

7/9 counting every pick (with 5/5 in the Argentina-match) and an average way above 2.00

Note before I start on my first July-pick: I'll only use 3 different stakes, to make things easier;

3 units: long shots/high odds/high variance
7 units: regular picks
10 units: max-bets

In the short term, that simplifies things a bit beyond recommended and I might not be able to differensiate optimally, but at least it's slightly easier for me...

FC Rosengård - Kvarnsveden
Damallsvenskan (Women's topdivision Sweden) 15.00 2/7-16
European Handicap (0-2) 1 @ 1.78

Rosengård is the best team in the division, and although they find themselves behind Linköping on goals scored and has had the first meeting of the season between them taking place at home soil, I fully expect Rosengård to win the series in the end. Both have 9-1-0 on their first 10 matches with 20 goals plus in goal difference. Rosengård have played their last three matches away from home, including a cup-match, and have only scraped by for wins in the latter two of those after their 4-0 trashing of Umeå. Back at home I expect them to take full advantage of their strenghts to blow Kvarnsvedens off the field in the first half. (Rosengård are 9-1-0 at half time so far this season, with 19-1 in goal difference, whilst being 9-1-0 with 30-4 at full time, telling you everything about how strong their first halfs have been). If anybody offers you a decent odds at Rsengård to lead at half time here, I would easily take it. Sadly, Unibet doesn't. I'm still confident enough in a big win today, that I'll buy them handicapped at full time with 2 goals.

Kvarnsvedens is a low mid-table team, and they don't lose big too often--so far. They still have nowhere the quality of the home side, and although I expect them to stay up without too much fuzz, this is one of those obstacles they just aren't equipped for. Only played 4 away matches so far this season, with a 1-1-2 record and a low-scoring 2-3 goal difference. Well worth noting, two of those have been against relegation contenders; Mallbacken and Kristianstad. I see 3-0 and 4-0 as the two most likely results today.

9th July 16.00 Allsvenskan Sweden
Häcken - Hammarby
Over 2.5 goals @ 1.64
Stake: 7 units

Both teams pretty unable to keep clean sheets throughout the spring half pre-Euros, and both able to score consistently as well. Although this is the first match after their summer break for the Euros in the Swedish top division, I find it hard to believe both would have been able to change things around enough to suddenly seem capable defensively. Last year this match-up ended 3-3, and Häcken won 3-2 away at Hammarby in their only meeting so far this season (in the cup-match played March 20th prior to the league season opened).

Still. Being the first match in a while is also the only reason I'm not quite willing to go for a max bet here, as I'm quite confident this one has 3 goals or more in it at least 2/3 of the time. Honestly, I feel there's closer to 3/4 based on this season so far, but better (and worse) teams than these have managed to turn the tide during a break before. As such I won't stake as I usually would when I consider a bet of being of such high value.

The odds of 1.64 at offer is best in the marked, and I take advantage early on.

10th July 15.00 Allsvenskan Sweden
Östersunds - Jönköpings Södra
2nd half -- Double Chance: X2 @ 1.63
Stake: 7 units

Both teams newly promoted, and have managed to gather 15 points each during the spring (12 of the 30 matches of the season done). They are both way ahead of the main contenders for relegation so far, and unless either of these teams truly collapses or Gefle and/or Falkenbergs suddenly have found their footing during the break, they should both be able to survive. I haven't seen too many of Östersunds matches, but those I have seen haven't been very impressive. Jönkopings Södra on the other hand, have shown really impressive morale to get back into matches most people thought were lost.

Well worth noting the most interesting things about these sides, and they aren't these most obvious ones;

Östersund home: 3-0-3   8-11
Jönköpings away: 1-3-2   4-11

No, the truly interesting ones are when you look at these sides 2nd halfs;

Overall 2nd half stats:

östersund: 2-3-7  5-13 (worst in the league, even behind the two bottom sides)
Jönköpings: 5-6-1  12-8 (5th in the league)

Respective home and away 2nd half stats:

Östersund home: 2-1-3  5-6
Jönköpings away: 1-5-0  6-5

I'll stick by the stats and the play behind those. As the guests have yet to lose a 2nd half this season, now faces the worst 2nd half side so far, and also have managed to up their play, and found their inner warriors when needed, I'm more than willing to go with them even though the break might have upset the momentum. The hosts were probably very happy to get a long break for the Euros. Their last two matches prior to it was a 0-5 thrashing away at Sundsvall before getting hammered at home 1-4 to the league leaders Malmö. And once again with a Swedish pick for this round; the only reason I don't go with a max bet is because of the break, as the odds on offer looks like great value based on their matches so far.

10th July 18.00 Tippeligaen Norway
Odds Ballklubb - Aalesund
Halftime/Fulltime H/H @ 2.00
Stake: 7 units

Odd is the best team during first halfs so far this season. Aalesund has been anything but impressive all season, and their coach aren't cut out for this. At twice your money, I'll take the HT/FT bet easily, although I still think Odd will win quite a high percentage of their matches during a second half improvement as Aalesund seem to lose steam an hour or so into most matches even against weak sides. As such I once again avoid the max bets, but 2.00 is solid odds and nice value in my eyes.

8/8 Rio Women's Handball
Spain - Norway
Player stats: Stine Brede Oftedal u3.5 goals @ 1.60
7 units

Rostov got a player sent off yesterday midway through first half, and had to settle for 0-0 home aginst Ural. At least Basel helped the month of to a nice start with their late turning of the tide as Janko scored twice after coming on as a sub. Their 3-2 win was enough to secure the needed 3 Basel goals @ 3.20.

Sadly the ref makes a gigantic mistake with 20 minutes to go of the 2nd half at 2-1 for Kristiansund; allowing the play to go on after a foul at the halfway-line. Goes back to the situation more than half a minute later, but hands the yellow card to the WRONG player, and to make matters worse, that Kristiansund player already was booked and got sent off. 10 vs 11 for the rest of the match, and Sandnes Uld manages to score a couple of goals to ruin the pick. One of the worst ways I've ever lost a bet.

Easy win for Norway, as expected, and my first max bet was on cruisecontrol. Peterborough 3-0 up against Millwall after only 20 minutes played, and easily securing my o2.5 (although the end result was a lot more comfortable with something like 5-1), and Doncaster managed to hang on for a 1-0 win. Gillingham the only ones to disappoint today, but overall a very good one.
