BonusPater
As the 3rd event of the year is far away from Europe, the package value will be higher. More info will be published about this soon :)
GotWhatItTakes
Far away from Europe :OHow long will it take for the contracts to be signed, @testuser1? You are teasing us so hard, guys :haha: NO MORE HALF-MEASURES.

freakshove
Any updates @testuser1? :) If not, could we please have some tentative dates (understand we are looking at late September correct?). Looking to get time off work to be able to go
psrquack
I think due to the rule changes Australia is out, Russia isn't far from Europe, China out, USA out to (I give a little chance for Vegas but that is so obvious). Maroc could be but that is not far from Europe. I think there are a strict gambling rules in the far East and in India too. Unibet has a good connection with israeli poker organisators (Israeli Poker Championship in Romania) but I think there is a gambling restriction too. It could be on islands like Martinique or French Polinesia, but the main problem is that those island are under french law and the french online market is available for citizens only (I don't know the legislation of live tourneys). It can be South Africa or Canada too but there is one country where the gambling legislation is perfect for that event, they have experience in organisation of that tourney, they speak english and they are far form Europe. So my vote goes to England. Sorry guys/kappa
GotWhatItTakes
In remember Stubbe saying the third stop will be the most exotic destination in Unibet Open´s history. What do we know so far:- far away from Europe:@GotWhatItTakes wrote: I'm still dreaming about some kind of very exotic destination like a stop in America (USA, south, whatever), Canada or even Asia. But I think that´s not gonna happen with Unibet Open, since it is more of a European TourStubbe-Unibet: @GotWhatItTakes you might be in for a surprise when we announce the last stop of the year /html/images/emoticons/Asset25.png "So, what is far away from Europe:- Asia: Unlikely, because asian countries do not permit gambling and in some countries like Indonesia it is even illegal.- South-America: I don´t remember any big events in south america besides the LAPC by pokerstars. Still way more likely than Asia in my opinion - Central America: Pokerstars had an event in Panama recently, there were many events in Domican Republic in the past few years. I think there is a Hard Rock casino+Hotel+Resort that would be the place to go. Partypoker held a tournament there and they even booked an entire airplane for their players. :O- USA: Las Vegas would be insanely great. I will be in Las Vegas for a few days in August, but more for sightseeing than playing poker. Would be great to have a UO stop in Las Vegas, and there are a lot of local poker players in LV, thats for sure. - Canada: Would be possible too. There are casinos in Montreal (playground poker club) and there is one very near to the niagara falls if I remember corretly. But maybe the third destination is a rather hot stop, maybe Canada is rather cold in late September.- Australia: That would be soooo sick- south african countries: The only place I could imagine would be South Africa itself. My vote goes to Las Vegas or Punta Cana (Dom. Rep). NO MORE HALF-MEASURES.

GotWhatItTakes
Totally agree with you @psrquack. To be honest, I don´t even know where the Seychelles are located It´s in Africa, isn´t it?Are there any casinos? NO MORE HALF-MEASURES.

I found some casinos through google search so I think they are capable to organise an event. Btw because most of the players will come form Europe i think a quick visa application (or no need of visa) can narrow the possible locations. GotWhatItTakes
@testuser1, can you tease us some more with a few tipps? Or just one help?" a quick visa application (or no need of visa) can narrow the possible locations." That might be a key @psrquack. For USA/Canada you don´t need visa, ESTA is all you need.Asian countries might be more complicated to get in.I don´t know about Africa, but you might need to get a visa. Would be intersting to know how the 3,300€ is calculated. 1,100€event + hotel + flight + spending money? NO MORE HALF-MEASURES.

VikingsAF
It will be some European colonies island groups ;) I think all paper work for outside EU is too much of an effort (would mean they will have to close the registrations so much in advance because of Passport/visa terms)Las Vegas btw would be the worst. Nothing cool to see there except for the casino's itself... I see now that the circumstances of ones birth are irrelevant... It is what you do with the gift of life that determines who you are. WuDu
@GotWhatItTakes wrote: You don´t like to go there, @VikingsAF ? :scared::Inlove:Thanks, but no thanks. :puking:From Malta to the Seychelles, it's a 7 hour flight. If it's in fact longer than that, it eliminates Europe, Africa and the middle east (LOL). If it's more exotic then St Marteen, then what about Macao or Singapore? We're gonna win on so many levels! We're gonna win, win, win. You're gonna get so tired of winning, you're gonna say: "Mr. President please, we don't wanna win anymore, it's too much!" And I'm gonna say: "I'm sorry, we're gonna keep winning because we're gonna make America great again!"
GotWhatItTakes
Lol, you guys are missing out big time there. Well, it was said, it would be "far away from Europe". Does this include european islands like French Polynesia etc.Macao is pretty possible, asian Las Vegas isn´t it?Singapore, I don´t know. Would be complicated as hell to organize an event there. Do they even allow gambling? My guess would be either central or north america. In my opinion the very best place would be Hawaii. I could finally do the "LOST-tour" :inlove:I would play every single satellite until I got my package if the destination will be Hawaii, but I guess that is more than impossible. Have you been there before? at you for thinking there's no gambling in Asia/Singapore. GotWhatItTakes
No, never been there. But it´s more the casinos, buildings and the fact that it came out of nowhere in the middle of the desert that I like. Not the people. :puking:I will be there in a few months, for 2-3 days. Maybe I don´t like LV anymore after these few days :laugh:Didn´t know they love gambling that much, just thought it might be illegal like it is in Indonesia (and China?)I hope we get some clarity in the next days, would be great to know where it is eventually going and if we were close with our guesses to the actual destination.
