Hello_World Posted April 13, 2017 Posted April 13, 2017 Hi,Is there any way for you to cut down the CPU usage on mac clients?I am experiencing this issue since you launched new client. I was hoping this will go away with some updates, but it didn't.Ever since I bought my MacBook air I never experienced any app's process taking this much CPU %. Colling system is going crazy and if you ever used mac you know how quiet it is.I attached screenshot with running 6 tables on Unibet vs 6 tables on PS.I'm using macOS Sierra, version 10.12.4. on MacBook Air, 1.4GHz, i5 processor. 4GB 1600 MHz DDR3, Intel HD Graphics 5000 1536 MB.Hope you will be able to figure out what is the problem and optimise it.Anyone else experiencing this ?
Hello_World Posted April 13, 2017 Author Posted April 13, 2017 for some reason I can't attach more than one file so here is the screenshot where you can see both numbers PS 15,3 %Unibet 74,9%
Chris-Unibet Posted April 25, 2017 Posted April 25, 2017 I think client is more CPU intensive on Mac than Windows for now. There are ways we'll look at to improve it but it will take time. Can you confirm it wasn't as CPU intensive for you on 1.0 client (before 1st December 2016)?
Chris-Unibet Posted April 26, 2017 Posted April 26, 2017 Hi @Hello_World,Can you see if you still have the same issue with the new client update this morning?
Hello_World Posted April 26, 2017 Author Posted April 26, 2017 @Chris-Unibet it's using even more CPU % than before.I am not 100% sure what was the case with 1.0 version, but I don't remember my fan being so loud. If you ever used mac you know that they are very quiet :)
Chris-Unibet Posted May 9, 2017 Posted May 9, 2017 I've forwarded your comment but I don't have any good feedback yet. We're getting around 20% CPU Usage on 6 tables on MacBook Pro and I don't know how the difference can be that big. I'll let you know once I know more.
