samigina
Hi. I sent this question to info@unibetsupport.com but never got an answer.I wanted to make a withdrawal to my bank account but they do not provide an IBAN code, just SWIFT (Im in Colombia). I have talked to them and they told me that they dont use IBAN codes that just with the SWIFT and my account number is enough. What can I do? Should I open a new account in a bank that uses IBAN codes?
MathrimC
On this page you can convert your account number into IBAN format: http://www.creativeeyes.at/tools/iban.php
samigina
That seems risky, have you used it before?
samigina
Ok tried it, genertaed and IBAN code and the tried to validate it. Failed. It seems like a country problem, not jus my bank:According to this list, there are a lot of countries that doesnt use IBAN, so maybe Unibet should accept just the SWIFT.https://www.nordea.com/en/our-services/cashmanagement/iban-validator-and-information/iban-countries/

JeppeL
@samigina I believe it's fixed and the information you can now enter is valid for Columbian banks :) Former Community Manager
samigina
Thats awesome! Thank you!I guess the "Sort Code" is the SWIFT?
JeppeL
@samigina I believe it should be a 6-digit number that's unique to your bank. Former Community Manager
samigina
Ok, now Im confused again. Google tells me that the Sort Code is a UK domestic code, so I dont think my bank use such thing.
JeppeL
@samigina Strangely, in my initial search for Sort Codes, nothing came up about it being UK specific. I'll check again with the payments department tomorrow if they have some extra information that we're missing. Former Community Manager
samigina
Any news? I tried filling the form puting my SWIFT code in the "Sort Code" field and it accepts it, but the form requiere a Transit Number, which says is for Canadian costumers, but even with Colombia choosed it keeps asking for it.There is something broken with this system :(
MarcoV
Well, I can't deny the fact that there's something wrong with the withdrawal site on your account :( sorry about that! Can you please send a screenshot of your bank statement to contact@unibetcommunity.com?I had a chat with my colleague from the finance team, and he told me that we should be able to create a manual withdrawal this time + make sure that you don't have any trouble requesting withdrawals to your bank account in the future, as long as we receive the screenshot of your bank statement :) Former community moderator
samigina
Sent. But I dont think the problem is my Bank, I have made withdrawals from Pokerstars to my bank with just the SWIFT and my account number. You should check why your system ask for a canadian thing even when chosing another country.
MarcoV
Thanks for your cooperation @samigina :) I don't think there's any issue with your bank account at all - the problem here must be the information we're requesting on the withdrawal site, since it's something that your bank account doesn't have. We'll definitely need to have a closer look at that. For now, we've created a manual withdrawal - please send me a PM in case you'd like withdraw more/less than my colleague from the finance team just did. Once we know for sure that the money is on your bank account, we'll change the setup on your withdrawal page and remove the boxes you can't fill out. There shouldn't be an issue with this withdrawal, but we want to make sure before changing anything on the withdrawal page. As you mentioned, it works fine when you're withdrawing from Stars and it should go through without any trouble this time as well.Apologies for the inconvenience. Hopefully this is the only time you're experiencing issues with withdrawals to you bank account :peace: Former community moderator

MarcoV
@samigina, thanks for getting back to me. I just spoke with one of the guys from the finance team. Can you please send me a PM or email with the SWIFT code of your bank account? Sorry I didn't ask for it in the first place - I was told that the bank statement you sent in a couple of days ago was all they needed to create the manual withdrawal, but we should've double checked that the needed information (like SWIFT) was included in the bank statement you sent. I'll confirm in this thread as soon as the withdrawal is on it's way to your bank account. I honestly thought it was already confirmed and sent after I spoke with my colleague the first time.
