A behind the scenes look at the Unibet Open and our online platform, featuring some of the Unibet Poker Team and ambassadors (and me).

Cool video. How's your dad doing these days?guido-buchwald-maradonas

We're gonna win on so many levels! We're gonna win, win, win. You're gonna get so tired of winning, you're gonna say: "Mr. President please, we don't wanna win anymore, it's too much!" And I'm gonna say: "I'm sorry, we're gonna keep winning because we're gonna make America great again!"

Cool little clip.

It goes a long way to explain the thinking behind the way the Unibet aims to include all players of differing abilities in the rewards structure.

It also made me feel like a bit of a dinasaur seeing so many young faces. (I keep forgetting I'm 47 now lol)

One of the things I love about Unibet poker is the fact that HUD's and 3rd party software isn't allowed at all.  I was on a different site the other night (I know, very naughty of me) playing at a 1 cent / 2 cent cash table just blowing off steam and I had to put up with some guy going on about how my vpp was at 50 and I was classed as a fish!

3 things struck me as odd about this guy's rant. 1st so what if my vpp was at 50%, it was only a 1c/2c table and secondly I thought it was pretty sad that the guy felt it necessary to call me a fish. Sad for him not for me, I was just blowing off steam without blowing my bankroll and I wanted to splash around lol

The 3rd thing I found pretty mental from that guy's point of view was that he was basing how I was playing on what he was being told and not from sitting there and observing the play. From that point on (and to have a bit of fun with him) I started calling out what his hands were according to how he bet and checked in various scenarios. Most the time I got it right and he accused me of running a HUD as well lol.

I explained that I had no hud, just the old adage of "If you can't spot the sucker at the table then YOU'RE the sucker"

So well done Unibet on all fronts.

Well, I don't know where to write it but I was exremely dissafected with the avowedness of the European Open's live streams towards to stream viewers. I also think that the unibetopen dot com and unibetopen twitter containt accountables did an average but more poorly work.

I've tried to find the tournament schedule on unibetopen dot com during the Open but only got the TBC after clicking on it. The event was running but the main page started promoting the next event.  I think such a great event deserves more professionalism.

I also couldn't find the starting time and schedules of the twitch coverage. It wasn't any info at the official unibet chanel on twitch neighter at unibetopen dot com nor on twitter before the start. Because as per unibetopen dot com the event started at 28th september I thought it will be a stream on that day. It wasnt.  As I asked the live support  the agent gave me the youtube channel link in where I find the start of the coverage. But that was not a real schedule only a countdown to start.

We all know what happened in Vegas and I understand they cancelled last days live coverage. But neighter the Unibetopen dot com nor the twitter didn't tell us that only the coverage will be suspended but they will play the event. It wasn't any information about the history of the play, the winners or something about the results. I don't know why. It would be better telling us that we can't give you the information, sorry about that but will update the official channels as soon as possible. I asked the live support yesterday morning what happened on the last day but agent told me there is another customer care staff working during the European Open and none of the european poker department could tell me what happened in the tournament (they stopped the play or not).

Sorry guys I really hope you will run better next time.

@psrquack They've posted 14 hours ago an update on Instagram. Not sure if they did the same with other social media channels ( Not following them all ) , but yes, think was a little bad with the updates after the events in Vegas ....

The key is 14 hours ago. I asked the support 24 hours ago and they decided to cancel the stream more than 36 hours ago. That's what I call poor performance.

Crazy why stop streaming from Wynn just because of a mad man ?

Everyone inside the casino was safe so no need to stop streaming.

Maybe they didn't think it was appropriate to be joking around after what had just happened. I don't blame them and I think that they made the right decision in a difficult situation.  I wouldn't have been comfortable watching it, let alone presenting it, and I wasn't even there.
