Mobile app location

When I start up Unibet Mobile, the first thing it asks me to do is turn on location (GPS) and if I refuse, the app simply quits.

I guess the reason for this is making sure I'm logging in and playing in a country I'm allowed to do so, but could this location checking be done any other way? It's quite annoying to have to go outside for a while if I want to, for example, place a live bet in front of the TV.

@Turre Good question. The reason for the location (GPS) is simply that we need to make sure you're in a country where we got a license. In general, you can bet outside your own country, although there are some exceptions - e.g. we don't have a license in the US so you won't be able to play if you're in the States.

Depending on the mobile device you're using, you can choose to activate the GPS only for the Unibet app, meaning it won't be active in any other of your apps.
