We're probably going to play the side event on Saturday between 17:00 and 20:00 - so before the turbo bounty tournament. Plus tickets for prizes, sucks balls playing a live game to win tickets to use online. At least make the prizes entry to maybe the bounty tournament or something but uo tickets only seems lame. I'm sorry about the short notice, but we couldn't really have communicated this earlier due to very limited space at the casino. Not everyone is flexible and I stand by the comment I posted, it would have been good to meet everyone and I was looking forward to the whole buzz of the event, but not worth travelling to play for online tickets as a prize pool. I truly believe it is a good gesture and probably extremely fun but to travel to the busiest city in the country for a game that only pays 3 places seems a bit of a anti climax to the prospect of a good idea. I understand the situation with the Me and not knowing about tables etc, which is why I said title was left too late, especially since Unibet are the organisers so should know how many players the venue should hold. I appreciate you guys work hard and it is a freeroll at the end of the day, but just disappointed to only find out the start time past midday on the day of the tournament. I am not being ungrateful or a douchebag, but not everyone is in the position of being able to afford a Me buyin so the prospect of a freeroll which could have funded one of the smaller event buyins would have been worth travelling cross country for. However when you see it only paid 3 places and its for online tickets, it made it an anticlimax. The tshirts, chips and the holding are nice addons but still not worth the journey, cost and time, especially when some people don't have the luxury of those. Good effort and good luck guys n gals but not for me this time. Getting a bit fed up of having to grind online to make it into a live tournament, especially when software has issues and ev still appears to be an issue. Karl Posted February 26, 2017 Share Posted February 26, 2017 I would love to have to come and play, but unfortunately I was at the top of my stairs and started walking downstairs when my dog ( border collie ) shoulder barged me into my knee and knocked me flying down the stairs,which has given me a bad back and sore knee at the moment.It's not the first time the mutt has done it :scared:maybe next year, but to all who are playing, good luck to them, shame I am missing out on those juicy prizes, I would be there in a heart beat for those....lol Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
