I'll be at the casino this evening and tomrorow so going to try to persuade the cardroom manager (I haven't met them yet) to allow us to use a few tables for the community event, ideally on Saturday. The cardroom at the Vic was extremely busy during the event last year but come on, this is almost as important as the Main Event itself!

Good luck to everyone in side event 😃

I debate
Should I smile like everything's good and pretend that life is great
Or should I let the world see the real me and not hide this pain
I tried to be like the rest of y'all, sorry I just can't
I'ma probably die this way

@jonny2192 but it's the end of a day 1? Shouldn't that be okay then you think? :)

+ I think more players overall will participate in the bounty tourney than in the deepstack, which makes me think Saturday night will be busier :)

I see now that the circumstances of ones birth are irrelevant... It is what you do with the gift of life that determines who you are.

@VikingsAF wasnt expecting the game to be at the end of day 1 as that will be pretty much Saturday morning anyway.(11.45pm is estimated end of play on Day 1b) but I am just guessing the reason why Saturday is being chosen :)

You can exchange UO tickets again all is unicorns and rainbows in Unibet land.

This is all speculation but I've got nothing better to do :)

"A total of 232 players ponied up the £875 buy-in to enter the second of the two starting flights in the Unibet Open London Main Event. Just 69 players, or less than one-third of the starting field, advanced to Day 2 and they will join the other 51 survivors from Day 1a's play for Day 2 on Saturday, March 5, at 12 p.m. local time to play towards the final table."  - UO London 2016 Day 1b report from Pokernews

The poker room at the casino boasts 35 tables on their website (at 9 max that would be 315 players) and Day 1b starts at 11am so it would be fairly safe to assume that by about 8pm on Friday evening there would be 5 or so tables spare for the Comunity event. This all depends on what they run normally on a Friday night and the volume of cash games I guess but I think it would work.

The other option may be Saturday afternoon before the Bounty Turbo based on the theory that there would only be 100-150 players left to start day 2.

Have you read my blog HERE... It's long isn't it :)

Actually, Friday looks even better after you look at the schedule. Day 2 of the deepstack and the highroller are also running on Saturday afternoon which would make it much busier than the Friday night.

You could run the CEat 6pm or something before the deepstack starts at 8pm.

I didn't think about the Bounty tourney but seems neither day is going to be ideal for all - I was thinking Saturday because I assumed there was more chance they'll have tables free then but I'll enquire about both (we might be lucky to get either though :()
