psrquack
Hi all,I was posting about a possible bug on Sunday and Andrew-Unibet told me that he believes everything works fine, btw it is hard to check for that. You can find the 2 posts here.So I decided to check it myself.Possible Bug type: If you play cash game between the C.E.T. (0.00h) daychange and the client's server time (0.00 U.K. time) daychange your seemed flops counter will not work. We are speaking about 1 hour.Evidences: My flops seen counter showed 26 at 0.00 C.E.T. Please don't forget that the server day lasts till 1.00 C.E.T. I started playing at Omaha cash game table after 0.00 C.E.T. I was checking the flops balance at 0.33. CET. All my flops from the previous day (the 26) and the recently played disapperred though the server day wasn't over yet.
AndreiBN
You are right @psrquack . Happened last night to me.Was playing after 01:00 CET at the cash tables, and after 45 minutes, when i noticed that something was wrong,as i had much more than 25 flops seen, when i've checked the lobby, was surprised to see that the count was on 0.It only started working after 02:00 CET,so not cool at all.But for me this New client can't surprise me with anything else after i've seen, probably ,the worst ever poker app in the whole world. 3 "When things are bad, it's the best time to reinvent yourself"
psrquack
@AndreiBN: It seems the client has 1 hour coffeebreak. Very disappointing.
VikingsAF
@psrquack, @AndreiBNDidn't notice anything.Does this affect other features which make use of the flopcount? (for example a challenge where you need to reach a flop or so or the moving on up challenge)Does other stuff disappear?Did you check if those flops were maybe counted in the past day? Because the flop counter maybe works with the server time. So the counter shows 0 because your time is already on the next day (and wants to show your flops of that day), and the server doesn't see any flops for that day, because he keeps adding the flops to the past day (where he is at that moment with the server time). 1 I see now that the circumstances of ones birth are irrelevant... AndreiBN
@VikingsAFIt has always been the same, after 01:00 CET, the server counts flops for the day that it started.Only with this new client everything is messed up.And yes,it affected me,because i had to buy in again after 02:00 CET, to complete the moving on up challange AGAIN.And if it did counted the flops for the previous day,at least we should have been told, because, like i said,it's always been the other way around, and if you make a change, you should let people know, because they are used to a thing :) 3 "When things are bad, it's the best time to reinvent yourself"

The flops were added to the previous day and now I can see them as yesterday's flops. Btw of there is a delay I don't know how does it effect to the challenges (fe: if I need those hands to complete a mission etc).
VikingsAF
But for @psrquack it's everything before 1CET that dissapears, and for you, @AndreiBN, it's 2CET :oBut as I understand it now, there has been a shift of one hour between the old client and the new client. So it could be that they now use GMT as the server time and that it was CET in the past?Andrei, you are right that they should communicate this, because it's true that some players just want to play those 15-20 flops, because they want to limit themselves playing. But I don't think there is a bug right here :) Just some changed settings (serverwise), but for sure they need to do something about this, because it will most defenitly cause a lot of confusion. But I think by pointing it out here it will get to the right people someday :)P.s. @psrquack for the challenges you will indeed need to wait untill after 1AM then :) (Or play them the next day between 12 and 1 :p hehe) 1 I see now that the circumstances of ones birth are irrelevant... psrquack
@VikingsAF: we (Andrei and me) are not in the same Time Zone. That's the reason for the delay.
VikingsAF
Yeah I know you are not in the same timezone :pBut you both are mentioning CET :pOr @AndreiBN did you mean EET? :pBecause if you both meant CET, then there is something else going on I see now that the circumstances of ones birth are irrelevant... AndreiBN
Yeah,my bad,it's EET 1 "When things are bad, it's the best time to reinvent yourself"
psrquack
Btw I think there is a bug, because we don't have such a problem with the previous client and I'm not sure the played flops will be added to the daily missions correctly. VikingsAF
@psrquack Andrei had it in the previous client, but only with 1 hour (and now with 2), because server time was CET back then. And now it is GMT :)So it's actually not a bug, but bad communication :) I see now that the circumstances of ones birth are irrelevant... BonusPater
I'll mark this as declined, as I think you solved the mystery :)As you figured out, the timezone used is UTC/GMT :)
psrquack
@testuser1: I think the decline is not the best decision. You should do something with the delay of the counter as you could solve it in the previous version.
VikingsAF
@testuser1I think that the best is to do something about this indeed :) For example let the Client only show Server Time. 1 I see now that the circumstances of ones birth are irrelevant... BonusPater
I have asked the poker team to have a look at the case :)
psrquack
3 years without any answer 👍 and your flops are still converted to yesterday's ones after your local daychange even tough you have one hour to the server daychange. Another communication masterpiece.
psrquack
Server daychange at 01.00 CET.The poker guys' answer is... a little bit.... late, isn't it @Stubbe-Unibet?

Rushbie
Would guess they're familiar with that @psrquack , it just hasn't been a thing on their priority lists which can have a whole bunch of more critical fixes like you probably know 😏 Got no clue but would assume they've had more gray feathers than any of us for that thingie, it's pretty old after all :speechless:
psrquack
@Rushbie: I agree with that and wouldn't bump up if I wouldn't see that @Stubbe-Unibet reacted to the bug report what was also written more than a years ago yesterday. On the other hands delivering a customer query toward the poker team but didn't share the answer to the customer is far away from the quality customer service. Stubbe-Unibet
On the backlog. Not prioritized. Poker team never got back to me before I left in 2017, hence no answer was posted. 1 Check the latest poker release notes. Have a look at our poker promotions.
