NeriPoker
The fade look of the lobby isn't very easy on the eye and makes browsing the tournament lobby a bit of a ball ache. This screenshot is when the client window is maximised. There is a huge amount of wasted space here and I'm not sure why this isn't used up with a widened list of tournaments rather than the limited view we have here. Even when the client is at its normal sizing the fading at the top and bottom just doesn't look good.
MoreTBC
I only get this when I double click the top or bottom of the lobby and Windows maximises it vertically but not horizontally. I mentioned it to Andrew on 2+2.What resolution are you using? Have you read my blog HERE... It's long isn't it :)
Chris-Unibet
Hi @NeriPoker,Let's break it into two different points:Space at the bottom: what's your screen resolution? When you resize your client, it doesn't let you change the aspect ratio EXCEPT when you maximise it as it takes whatever screen resolution you're using. It's not really meant to be maximised though. If you use a 16:9 aspect ratio, then you wouldn't have that empty space even maximised but you seem to use an unusual resolutionFade away: we're currently discussing it. I'm more in favour of removing it but most likely, we'll start by changing the Full Schedule lobby to bring the filters and research bar at the top end and therefore save space for more tournaments to show. As suggested by @MoreTBC on another thread, we could as well save some space in the tournament lobby itself. With more tournaments, it could be the fadeaway doesnt seem annoying to you anymore. MoreTBC
Fade remove 👍It's not related to this but the fade is also pointless in the hand histories and single MTT lobby. It just makes the top or bottom text in either place difficult to read for no reason. Have you read my blog HERE... It's long isn't it :)
NeriPoker
Resolution is 1280x1024. I hope that's the right figures anyway! Bit of a noob with tech stuff.
Chris-Unibet
Hi @NeriPoker,Could you please see if there's still a blank space when you maximise the client with your resolution? I believe it should be fixed. I've pushed for the fadeaway effect to be removed so hopefully that should be picked up soon as well.
NeriPoker
This is what I'm getting on main page. Tournament tab clashes with avatar plus large blank space at the bottom.
NeriPoker
Sorry same problem still exists on tournament lobby.
Chris-Unibet
Thanks, I'm waiting for a confirmation but I believe the blank space fix was actually about it appearing when you open the tournament schedule and have no ticket or tournaments showing on top. I've asked if our provider is planning to improve how the client looks when maximised on 1280x1024 but it's not a resolution that is used by many people anymore and it should look fine as long as you don't maximise it. I can't confirm when we'll remove fadeway yet but I'll update the thread once I know more.

MoreTBC
You can still create large empty space on the lobby by double clicking the top or bottom of the window in 2.4.0 Have you read my blog HERE... It's long isn't it :)
