During my spare time I'm always playing Poker on my phone & there's a couple that adopt pets then find good homes for them. They're regulars at the facility. They asked me today 'You're always playing Poker on your phone. Winning much?' And I replied with 'Not really. Probably never enough to support me but It's a fun game to play to pass the time.'We talked for half an hour and they brought up that it's extremely cold outside and during these days wild animals tend to be extremely hostile & that they respect the people who do this kind of work.Long story short, the lady had recently sold her business and offered to put up 85% of the buyin if I wanted to play in the WSOP Main Event. 😀This is an extremely exciting day for me because I'll finally be able to play in an Event I've watched every year for the past 5-6 years.😃 😃Now only thing that's left is to figure out what I'll do in Vegas besides the poker since I don't drink. Anyone whose been to Vegas have any recommendations? I've only played wsop side events in Vegas since I can't afford the buy-in of 10k. I also played a couple of deep stack tournaments at Venetian , in my opinion the best poker room in Vegas, check them out, Venetian is something unique .Rio is a boring casino away from the strip , except for the fact that WSOP is held there. 😃 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Helping animals is a great cause.)I've only been to Vegas once and only stayed for one night - and that was several years ago, so I'm sure everything looks different now. The Bellagio water shows were quite amazing, but other than that I can't really give you any sightseeing tips. And don't leave any chips around, because he's known for stealing them. But tell them that when he's a pain in the ass, they could just let him sit out for a while.
