Going all in when 1.x BB's

So was playing a tournament and already saw something happening on other hands (but which is less "wtf"), but when you go all in with for example 5252.25 (because you can get .25 chips) the software will only alow you to go with 5252.
Today I got in a different situation though, I had 1640,75, with blinds being 500-1000 and I couldn't reraise all in, because probably it is less than a min-bet, but this doesn't matter for an all-in, right?

So I ended up calling 1000, and had to check out until the end because I couldn't go all in with 640,75 because (I think) it is less than 1000.
