100 euro Unibet Open tickets Give-away, to kickstart for London (UPDATED CHALLENGE)

Hello people from the community,

Some may know, some may not, but last weekend I visited Bucharest to play at the Unibet Open. For me this was one of the best experiences I ever had, and that's most probably because of the great treatment I got from @JeppeL, @MarcoV and @testuser1. But the only thing that I tought, was a little bit a pitty, was that there were so few Community players. 

So what I would like, is that the following UO's, more players from here can get there. That's why I made up this challenge.

What can I win?

There will be 2 major challenges and 5 minor challenges. In the major challenges there will be 2 x 10 euro UO to win each. The major challenges will have a more creative touch to it. In the minor challenges only 1 10 euro UO ticket per challenge. These challenges can be done in the poker client. So that makes together 9 tickets. Because 10 is a more pretty number I will raffle a 10th ticket between all participants.

The shedule

Today I will give out the first major challenge and then you get 6 days more or less to enter. When that raffle is done the next challenge will come up. The minor challenge will come up one after another starting from 10/12 (more or less) and for this one you get 48 hours. So the raffle is one day after the one from the major challenge.

How will it work?

Every challenge you can win a different amount of points. This will depend on how special your result looks. These points are your amount of entries in the raffle. The players who participate in the major challenge also get 20% of their points in entries to a minor challenge of choice (This can be made higher, but I'm not sure wich value is fair)

Major Challenges

1: Untill 14/12/2016 6P.M. CET

In Bucharest we had a lot of huge buildings. The hotel we slept in was also the biggest hotel I slept in. For that reason the first challenge is about building.

Build a nice card tower and take a picture of it. The higher the tower the more chances you get in the raffle. 1 floor is 1 entry, 2 floors is 3, 3 floors is 6, 4 is 10 and so on (so the amount you would get for the previous level + the amount of floors). Extra original towers get extra entries depending on personal taste ;) (But I will try to be objective :D) The maximum entries is 50 points :D (So higher than 10 floors is useless.)

To prevent cheating your forum name should be in the picture.

A floor only counts if it’s at least the height of the short side of the card.
Glueing is allowed, but make it spectacular then ;)

2: 14/12-20/12

Unibet Open is all about poker, but also about travelling.

So I want to see methods of transportation. Anything goes, so you can be as creative as you like /html/images/emoticons/Asset8.png A paper boat or a paper plane is as good as a welded car on 1:1 scale /html/images/emoticons/Asset4.png(ofcourse the car will get more entries if it looks cooler /html/images/emoticons/Asset8.png)

You get entries based on originality (I will be objective) and based on likes. Every 2 likes is 1 entry.

Minor Challenges

1: 10/12 - 12/12

Will kasouf  is known for his 9 high like a boss. This challenge will be about a highcard  like a boss aswell . 

Entries for the first minor challenge will be earned by winning with 10 or lower high. 1 point with 10 high, 2 points with 9 high 3 points for 8 and so on. Double of the entries are earned when you win with these cards on the showdown (which is really hard) 

Entries are earned when you win the hand after the river, so making your opponent fold before the river doesn't count. 

I hope this is clear. Entries will count until 10pm cet on the 12 of December. 

2: 13/12 - 15/12

The second minor challenge has 2 sides to it.

The first part is about breaking the curse.

Beat the curse, by winning a hand with KK. If you succeed, you will get 1 entry.

The second part is about beating KK or AA with a lower pocket pairs. The amount of entries received is equals to the amount of ranks lower your pocket pairs is. For example beat AA with JJ, then you will receive 3 entries.

If you beat KK with KK or AA with AA (the only way is by having a (straight)flush), then you will aswell receive 5 entries.

For this challenge you have 37 hours :D (untill 10pm CET on december 15th)

3: 15/12 - 17/12

One of the curses on Unibet is the River loss aswell. (For me tough /html/images/emoticons/Asset4.png )

I want to see hands that were winning before the River, but lost because of a bad River card.

You get entries decided on how good your hand was before the river divided by 10 and minus 4. So let's say, if you had 90% chance to win the hand, then you get 5 entries /html/images/emoticons/Asset1.png If you had only 50% chance on winning, then you get 1 entry (the minimum). So even tough you maybe had the strongest hand on the turn, but you had less than 50% chance of winning, you'd get no entries.

4: 17/12 - 19/12

This challenge is about "godlike" flops.

Post a screenshot of a hand where you flop your final combination and you win the hand.

For Example: You have AK in hand and the flop is T58, and the turn and the river are 3 and 2. As long as Highcard A is the strongest, your hand counts /html/images/emoticons/Asset1.png (AKT58 is the winning combo)

10 entries for flopping a straight flush
8 for flopping four of a kind
6 for a full house
5 for a straight or a flush
3 for 3 of a kind
2 for 2 pair.
1 for high card and one pair.

This is really great what you're doing. I'm glad you had fun at Bucharest. I'm planning a trip across Europe so regardless of whether I qualify online or not, I'll be sure to drop by and participate in a couple UO events in 2017 :)

Good luck everyone on this giveaway , i will pass it since i already have a lot of UO small-mid tickets in my account , the thing is that every month i start grinding the qualifiers and in mid-month i concentrate on the promotions and just leave the tickets there for the next month . I agree that should be much more members on UO tournaments and i'll promise for the next event i will try to qualify or just lose all the tickets , bankroll , etc

So it seems hard to get people out of their chairs for the major challenges, so I decided to extend the period you have for a major challenge to +-6 days. There will only be 2 major challenges. This means that there will be 5, instead of 3, minor challenges now.

I updated the tower competition to get a maximum of 50 entries (from 11th floor and up you get to many points ;) )

Participants in the major challenge get 20% of their entries back to enter other raffles of choice.

Hopfully this gets more players interested in doing the challenges :)

The first minor challenge will be posted tonight (it will have something to do with Will Kassouf maybe 👼 )
