Kris-Unibet
Hi,I did not quite understand the last post, I'm afraid that if you are on win XP the browser version will not work either.
Jami-Unibet
Hey ! I don't mean to come off as rude, but it seems like there is a small language barrier. Since this forum is english only, could you possibly write your problem to me in a message in your native language? Let's see if it makes any difference whatsoever. JillianP
Just adding that he probably can't update to the latest chrome release either. I'm on Win Vista and I get a messgae saying that my system does not support the latest version, so I'm stuck too. Version 49.0.2623.112 m This computer will no longer receive Google Chrome updates because Windows XP and Windows Vista are no longer supported. Valkyrie
@Kris-Unibet, you said the browser version doesn't work on XP, but is it supposed to work on Vista? Because it doesn't. I'm using Firefox and I can't get in at all. I just get to watch the loading screen forever and ever...
Magicadil
It doesn't work on Vista either. Windows 7 you'll face a lot of issues but can get it to work.Windows 8/10 nearly flawless. I debateShould I smile like everything's good and pretend that life is greatOr should I let the world see the real me and not hide this painI tried to be like the rest of y'all, sorry I just can'tI'ma probably die this way
JillianP
which version are you on? I'm Vista sp2 and I use Chrome. I can mostly get the browser client to play. Sometimes it goes into the loading infinity, but if I close & try again it generally works. Haven't tried Firefox yet.Once in and playing though I can't look at a lobby or anything else or it just freezes. And playing two tables it flicks from one to the other without notice. I actually found myself playing the wrong hand a couple of times in the community freeroll the other night:annoyed: Just call me Mrs Kings :-)
Valkyrie
Ok, thanks . It's odd though, because they told us before that since the desktop client isn't supported by XP/Vista that we should use the browser version instead. And Kris only mentioned XP as a complete no go above, hence my question if it's even supposed to work on Vista.I've got the same version as you , but I only use Firefox now. I basically stopped using Chrome when they stopped updating it. It just didn't feel secure anymore... but I think I tried it at one point anyway in my frustration and I got the same result as in Firefox. I've tried to get in so many times, closing and re-opening it, but after watching the loading screen for 20 minutes each time I usually give up. 😞 Upgrading or buying a new computer isn't really an option either, so unless they come to their senses and do a rollback, I guess I won't be playing poker at Unibet anymore.
