PunchFace
So downloaded the "NEW" client update and when i try to run it, it says the version is not compatibale w/ my version of windows.... pretty sure I won't be the only one that is having problems, and if I could fix this somehow on my side I would, but I can't....Somebody help!!! JillianP
There is a patch for Win 7 apparently but if you are on Vista or earlier then you are just out of luck :teardrop:Hopefully there will be some sort of workaround brought in, as playing the browser version is hopeless for me 😞 Just call me Mrs Kings :-)

JillianP
No offense meant but a flat "XP and Vista are not supported." isn't very impressive.Could you let us know if there are any plans to make it supported for older OS, or is it just "thanks guys, and don't let the door slam on your way out" 😞 Just call me Mrs Kings :-)
PunchFace
Windows XP is what im using and not be a jerk, but whoever decided to go ahead with this New Client wasn't thinking very clearlyI know I am not the only one that can't use the new updated program and it really bugs me that UNIBET went ahead and was okay with this changeNot everyone has access and as a Unibet member that shouldn't be the norm or be acceptible to the people that run Unibet "Time keeps on slipping, into the future....I want to fly like an Eagle, to the Sea"
MoreTBC
I know this is absolutely no help but even Microsoft don't support XP any more so you can't really expect anyone else to. Have you read my blog HERE... It's long isn't it :)
PunchFace
UNIBET basically said "if you have windows xp or vista too bad"The new update won't work for anyone that runs their program on thisWonder how many players are gonna say bye bye till it gets fixed or if they will ever returnI am in the same boat as you, doesn't work for me, so I'm stuck with the web browser, which is no bueno "Time keeps on slipping, into the future....I want to fly like an Eagle, to the Sea"
PunchFace
So is anybody from UNIBET going to explain whats going on with the Client?Besides telling me that if you have Windows XP or Vista then your SOL?LOLWhoever had the final say to this update and went ahead with it..I have one question... What were you thinking?!?!?!?!?!? "Time keeps on slipping, into the future....I want to fly like an Eagle, to the Sea"

Valkyrie
@JeppeL wrote: The new client unfortunately can't technically run on Windows XP or Windows Vista, so if you're using one of these two operating systems, for the time being you'll have to run Unibet Poker via the web browser. So if the browser version doesn't work either we're just supposed to sit here and accept that we can't play at all? Sorry, but that's just not okay. Instead of forcing it, please just do a rollback to 1.0 and take your time to fix all the issues before you re-release it. Please don't do a "Net Ent" and ruin Poker for me too. :waterfall:

MoreTBC
Sorry for the late reply , I had to go do my real job :) The new PC client of poker software does not support Windows XP so you won't be able to use that just now so the web client is the only option.Could you click on the three dots at the top right of the Chrome browser and then go to Help > About Google Chrome and then copy and paste what version number it shows as a reply here please. It'll help the support guys work out if that's an issue.Do you have Mozilla Firefox installed? It might be worth trying that to see if you can get the web client working that way. I know I personally have issues getting Chrome to open the poker client. Have you read my blog HERE... It's long isn't it :)

Kris-Unibet
Hi,We prefer if all customers can play poker regardless of OS, unfortunately the client does not work on all platforms and I can understand that it is annoying. Quoting Andrew regarding Vista and XP."It wasn't possible to run the old one either. Adobe Air didn't support XP any more. It is possible that a side effect of making the client run on older versions of DirectX will be that Vista and XP work/are easier to make work. We'll look into that first, and see where we are."
