Ability to disallow someone from posting in your thread

Yesterday while one of my threads was getting spammed I was thinking, 'Why don't we allow the creator of threads to disallow people from posting?' It's very simple, here's how it would work:

- Beside the reply button there would be a 'disallow posts in this thread' button

- This won't delete the post but rather restrict the person from making any more comments

- This can save Staff time if someone is being unruly.

- You always have the option to reallow the person to continue posting in your thread at any time

- This doesn't restrict the person from posting in all your threads, just the one (or multiple if you choose)specific(s) thread.

I don't think closing out people from posting is a good idea. This could escalate more arger and verbal violance. I think personalised filtering would be better idea but honestly I think the best idea is ignorance.
