Fantasy betting on UO/UK

Have a fantasy betting comp on community members in UO/UK games.

Have so many virtual euros to bet on community players in these events, best return wins a prize.

I expect the idea would be like a fantasy draft based on what Jonny is saying.

For example, If there were 20 community players at Bucharest you would put a € value on each player based on experience/results etc and then drafters would get say €1000 virtual to pick 3 or 5 players as a team. Points get given out for last longer in the live tourney and maybe for busting other community members and then whoever has the highest score at the end wins a prize.

I might be wrong though and he'll have another idea :)

or have x amount of bonus money to bet on paticular events happening and see who has the best return.

The hard thing is picking things that will definetly be recorded but that can not be manipulated.

i.e first hand dealt a a pair 10 to 1/ suited 10 to 1/ suited pair 100000000 to 1.

or could have silly things like odds on colour of a garment, so can bet on the colour but to stop cheating the garment isnt chosen till the betting is closed..

Maybe a mix of the 2 ideas.

TBH I just had a brain fart and type the idea without thinking it through, was more thinking of making more of a following during UO games, giving us someone to cheer for.

I think also might be good to have teams, highest scoring team gets an extra freeroll where everyone gos from friend to foe. Will add a bit of madness to twitch with teams supporting there player.

I've been thinking about the format, and I think something like this should be manageable:

Complete a survey like this http://customerexperience.co1.qualtrics.com/SE/?SID=SV_enzXS2wEfYWVQnb before the event - we'll obviously add aliases and odds to the survey. Everyone can choose 6 bets in total. We will be posting 1-2 more surveys during the event. The winner (highest balance when competition is over) will get a package for the next UO event.

What do you guys think?

wow, sounds like another awesome competition/ promotion, thanks , Unibet and of course  for this idea... can't wait to see the community representatives that will be picked in the survey 🆒

The survey looks perfect, all I miss is a  deathmatch (pick 3 community members and try to beat the Unibet team). I think Sam will participate on the main event maybe Jamie or Charlotte and you could find a third member I'm sure.

 one change maybe do same as superuser freeroll prizes, send more members with a smaller buy in.

 we already have the second smallest buy in :/ The biggest cost of the package they gave is the hotel (and the flights)

A cheaper hotel could get more players there ;)

In this comp stubbe is saying a full UO package so thats 1k extra than the superuser game, but I agree if a cheaper hotel and a cheaper package gets more members there, then more the merrier. :)

I think he means instead of one Main Event package do a couple side event packages. London should be a cheaper package than Bucharest travel-wise for a start.

As a side idea, I'd be happy paying to enter this competition. €10 each to boost the prizepool for example would go a long way to making it more interesting.

Reading the comments  dont think we need a comp, just squeeze us all in one big flat and we will all get there for as cheap as possible and throw in 10e each to help.

I like the idea of shared accomdation that would fit a lot of us.

I like that people are willing to get there as cheap as possible to try and get more members going.

I like the idea of a small entry fee, if it creates more spaces.

There is also the supersaver accomadation 4 nights in a sleeping bag under a desk in the Unibet London offices :)

I like the idea of renting a big place in central London for like 16 persons, but I'm not sure everyone will. Believe some might appreciate some privacy, which there probably won't be a lot of - but a lot of fun for sure! :)

I suppose people know what the prize is beforehand and know that if they want privacy they can pay for there own place.

Always setup a poll 

A) Privacy in expensive hotel but few members.

B)Loads of members but expect to wait for shower.

Wondering if we put 16 loonies in one place with beer if any will actually make the games :)
