October was a good month for the community with many new members signing up and a good amount of posts being written. We went from approx. 6500 posts in September to around 10.000 posts in October - that's a 53 % increase! Hopefully we'll continue the good trend and see close to 15.000 posts this month!
Not only have we seen an increase in the number of posts, I also think the quality has increased, and we've got a lot of great personal threads going strong at the moment :)

As always it's been extremely difficult to choose a member of the month. There're so many members who deserve special recognition, and choosing just one is pretty much the most difficult task we have. This month it was so difficult that we've decided to also reward a runners-up.

The runner-up has been with us since the 5th of July, she's active in many parts of the community, including off-topic, poker and help and support, and she is always contributing to a very positive atmosphere. She's posted 1264 times and gotten 1299 likes - those figures speak for themselves! :) The runner-up is Ametrine! :) If you continue contributing like you do at the moment, I'm sure you'll soon take home the member of the month award! Please let us know if you'd like € 50 in free bonus money or poker tickets, and we'll get it added to your account later today.

The member of the month has been with us since the very beginning - he signed up on the community the 2nd of June. We've considered him for the award from the very beginning, as he's been contributing with great content from day 1. He doesn't have the highest number of posts per day, but I believe he might take home the award for most words per post, on average :D He's full of great ideas, always there to help (especially if it's poker or tech related) and has one of the best blogs on the community. I don't think you need anymore clues, but rumours have it that his accent sounds a bit like this:

Huge congrats to ! 👍 I was already expecting him to get this award for his massive poker blog (there are long posts indeed, but it's entertaining to read 😃)

 

Big big thank you for the runner-up prize  (MTT poker tickets please: 4x4€, 6x2€ and 22x1€) and thank you everyone for congratulations, I really appreciate this! I do admit, I'm mostly posting in off-topic, but I enjoy browsing all the boards, leaving some sneaky likes or little comments 😃 My favorites to read here are challenge blogs, it's interesting to see how and why people start those and follow them along on their journey 😛

For me personally poker is just a fun and enjoyable game, I have only started to read some basic strategy after being invited to the Superuser freeroll (because I didn't want to be the first one out of the game! :D) and my game has improved a little bit, which makes it even more fun 😃 I doubt I will ever play poker on high stakes, but as long as I work from home & need to be online 8-17 anyway, I am more than happy to spend time on Unibet and this community, which has lots of awesome people in it ♥️

, can I have poker tickets please. If it's allowed, I'd like to let you pick the values and denominations :) That way I can have a 'Dealer's Choice' day on the tables and only play games with the tickets you choose. Gotta keep the content in the blog fresh ;)

 

Fun fact community fans, I have the least Scottish sounding accent of anyone I know. Someone asked me if I was Canadian when I streamed because of how little an accent I have. I'll prove it when I make a UO event :Cool:

Congrats on the reward @MoreTBC! Your posts always provide an entertaining read, so well deserved indeed. 😃 I've also watched one of your vids (if I remember correctly you won the final tournament hand in it with 55 :wow:) and have to say that you have a very pleasant speaking voice (and you may not have a deep "brogue", but you definitely sounded Scottish to me).

And WTG @Ametrine - runner up ain't too chabby - so congrats to you too. 😃 You're always friendly and helpful, so just keep doing what you're doing and I'm sure you'll get that reward soon as well. 👍

Would have been my pick for member of the month as well. Very well deserved! Really enjoying both your quality posts, and the by far longest posts in the community by ! That always takes a couple of minutes to read them. 🤣
