BonusPater Posted October 6, 2016 Share Posted October 6, 2016 Hey everyone :) I'm considering a new banner for the community, and I'd like to hear your thoughts :)I'm thinking something like the below and maybe a special poker one for when the new client is released. I know I asked before but it just seems like a massive waste or screen space when all it's housing is the search bar.You could just put the search bar at the top in the green header and having rolling ads for community promos and news as a smaller bannerEdit: the proposed new banner will probably look strange/clash with the green header? I don't like having the search in the header, as it'd only work with certain screen resolutions, so we'd end up with two very different looks on mobile and desktop. I'll test a few different things, including a 20-30 % smaller hero image - if it's smaller than that, it'll look a bit odd :)EDIT: the colors. I'll try and find a similar one.Next week I'll make 5-7 proposals and show how they'll look on desktop (both high and low resolution) as well as mobile :)I've got a pretty good idea - at least I think so :D - for a relatively dark grass background with some white sports, poker, casino and bingo illustrations/icons on top, with a bit of transparency. I've tried like 20 different ones and I simply can't find one that is as good as the current one - remember that it has to look good on all devices. I could work on a script to show a random image from a folder, but I'm bigger fan of one banner for all products. You could do a banner that is split into a few sections and then have a cut down version for mobile with less sections.
