LordOfQuestions
I just played a flip tournament, where I had the 2nd best hand, but I didn't get the prize for 2nd position and in the lobby it says I finished third?
Solution Stubbe-Unibet Posted August 4 Solution Share Posted August 4 We try to avoid it with the tournament structures, but in flip tournaments there will be cases where there's one winner of the last hand, and everyone else technically finish in the same position, as they had identical stack sizes, but at the same time there's more than one prize to be won. We have chosen to have secondary finishing positions, in case of equal stacks, to be decided at random (fits the random nature of flips). Elsewhere, you might see seat/position being the deciding factor, but this is equally confusing. Personally, I do agree that hand strength would make sense as a tiebreaker, but it's not an easy aspect to change, and it's in not an industry standard either. Check the latest poker release notes.
