Autumn 2023 edition of Community Poker League is just around the corner and it gives us a good chance to practice also our football predicting skills again! ⚽🙂👍

 

We will celebrate the Autumn 2023 Community Poker League by having a series of weekly football competitions, all handing out tickets to the Community League events for the following week.

 

There will be a total of 4 competitions, each having a prizepool of €150 ( 30 * €5 Community Poker League tickets ). We will be using the community poll feature for submitting the picks, similar to how we have done on several occasions before. Every competition consists of 3 consecutive daily polls. Winners will be the ones who manage to collect the highest total scores over the 3 day period. 
Points for a correct pick will be based on Unibet Sportsbook odds, and you will see the achievable points for every option when you are filling in the poll. Polls are always posted on the promotions board at some point during the previous day.


Competition schedule:

Competition #1: Friday 29.9 - Sunday 1.10 ( Weekend football )
Competition #2: Tuesday 3.10 - Thursday 5.10 ( Eurocups UCL & UEL )
Competition #3: Friday 13.10 - Sunday 15.10 ( EURO 2024 qualifiers )
Competition #4: Friday 20.10 - Sunday 22:10 ( Weekend football )


Prize distribution: ( €150 / competition )

1: €40 ( 8 community tickets )
2: €30 ( 6 community tickets )
3-4: €20 ( 4 community tickets )
5-8: €10 ( 2 community tickets )

 

First poll will be posted next Thursday ( 28.9 ), and the deadline for submitting picks will be at 20:30 CEST on Friday 29.9.

 


Terms and conditions:

  • Customers from Denmark, Sweden and Belgium can not take part in this promotion.
  • Players from Netherlands ( only age 24+ are eligible to win tickets ) will need to opt-in by using the polls at the top of this post before they can score any points for their correct picks.
  • Tickets will be credited before the first community league event of the following week.
  • Tickets will not be extended and are not exchangeable to anything else.
  • We reserve the right to change the promotion at any time.
  • We reserve the right to exclude customers from this promotion.

NOOOO, i had it all but then i messed everything up with one note. Someday it will come back to me against all odds? I guess for now i have to settle 6th beauty, not sure if it is even miss but some transvestite but i guess i have to take it 🤩

That was a tough round, which can  be seen on the scores, where only 5 of us would have made modest profit if they bet on all their picks.

But, there's always a winner and this time it was @SShcherbyna's rather careful strategy that worked the best.

Congrats to "the Scherbynator" and also to all the other winners. Tickets will be credited well in time for next week's league events 🙂👍

I've been honing my football analysis skills for years, and now I'm finally able to present my improved, perfected "just click on the lowest odds"  "rather careful" strategy 🙂

Yeah, thx. Finally showing some "form" after 8 polls of total cluelessness :classic_blush:

Moldova draw with them winning first half, Gavi scoring, and halftime 3-0 at Bukarest all gave out nice points. Surprised that no one else picked the 3-0 HT for 9 points, but I'll take it 🙂

Like @comanimal mentioned on the poll thread, if Moldova scored on second half also, he would have gotten 34 points from that one goal alone ( assuming Poland wouldn't have found a response to it ). Those points would represent more than half of Scherby's total winning score, so it can be a really thin line between winning and losing on these 🙃

We were offered two rather poor quality matches to finish off this set of competitions, but that's something we can't do much about 🙂

Anyhow, the win of the final autumn competition goes to "Whoever". Nicely done there 🏆🙂👍

Actually it didn't.

Manager cards do not count, and neither do cards to players that are on the bench, but a red card equals two cards 🙂
