MISLEADING PROMOTION AND CUSTOMER SERVICE AT ITS BEST!!

So today i saw a promotion going on this betting site. Curious so i decided to join. It says bets £10 get £30 free bet. Signed up and joined, placed a bet of £10 with multi bet for example both team to score n a team to win. as i was placing a bet there was an option of boosting the bet to get more winnings. My bet has been settled so i thought i get my free bets. didn’t get it so i messaged someone on live chat. come across this person called Amir told me that because i placed a bet with boost i didn’t get my free bets. i asked him again if i placed a multi bet without a boost would i still get this free bets? he said yes and follow the t&c i will still get it. Surprisingly i believed him and placed another £10 bet, this time without the boost. bets been settled now and still didn’t get it. so messaged someone again who i came across to Maggie in which she told me because i placed a multi bet i didn’t get my free bet as i needed to placed a single bet? i told her why didn’t Amir told me before that? and then she replied as oh because your multiple bet second bet is under 2.00. this is when i found it was shocking as both the bet i made to this company is more than 2.00. as this not get resolve i ask to speak to a supervisor or management in which she said they are not up during this time? this is a online betting site love i’m pretty sure one of the supervisor is up! 🤣🤣🤣 anyways so end the chat n came across Amir again in which i explained to him what i’ve said to Maggie. he then try to put the blame on me saying it is correct about the bonus but why didn’t he just say i just needed to placed a single bet in the first place instead?

morale of this story; Don’t think i’m coming back here to bet with this bad customer service and misleading informant who misled me and tells me a lot of lies just so they can pocket a few changes out of me. if they are like this over something small and cannot resolve this simple free bet matter. i am afraid if i was supposed to win a big winning and their customer service is like this. putting the blame on me saying you need to read the T&Cs when obviously i have been misled n lies too by their two colleague. Then it would have been much more worse n the experience would have been more dreadful. Just going through this today made my day seeing how petty and useless the member of staff were. Asking me for my full details then putting the blame on me and not resolving anything. Shame on you.

Anyways just need to let this out and let other members know this is how they treated me.

If we take the bets and rules first. When you accepted the offer, you chose not to read the rules. These rules you could also have read at any point post registration, in your bonus section. The rules for the offer are quite clear in my opinion and effort has gone into making sure the most common mistakes are covered at the very top of the terms. Small copy and paste:

2) How to claim your welcome offer:

- Opt-in to the bonus during registration and make a first-time deposit of at least £10.

- Place a single £10+ bet on football, minimum odds 1/1 (2.00) or greater.

- If you decide to place your £10+ qualifying bet on a multiple bet, each leg of the bet must have minimum odds 1/1 (2.00).

- Bets placed on enhanced odds, profit boosts or special boosted odds of any kind will not trigger the bonus.

I've highlighted the 3 key points here. Simply put, you didn't place a qualifying bet and therefore didn't get the reward. I do not believe we can change much in this regard, as the terms are there to prevent "abuse" of the offer (for instance placing a bet with odds 1.01 to get the free £30 in bets). Also don't see how the promo is misleading in any way - we can't include the full terms in the headline and it's not like the terms are hidden in any way either. 

As for your experience with support, it doesn't sound like they did a great job, and they should have highlighted the 3 points above as well as instructed you where to find the terms. I will have someone else check the chats, to see whether you simply missed this info or they didn't include it.

@riggins, uou actually placed some qualifying bets, so not quite the same 🙂
