Being refused ridiculously small bets

Unibet advertises prices on oddschecker every day, but do they allow anyone to have more than a small bet on them. Just got refused 5 euro each way on the 3.25 at Newcastle.

Also often not allowed to be so much as 3 euro on an anytime goalscorer. What an absolutely dreadfully run company.

Oh and when I try to get through to live chat it goes mysteriously broken.

Afraid there's just not much we can do here. You can send the bet for manual approval or alternatively bet with another site 🙂

Of course there's something you can do. Stop treating small stakes punters like they're JP McManus. Or you could stop falsely advertising prices you won't let people bet at.

This is done to people Sports Books don't want, you have been deemed unprofitable and this is the operators way of telling you your not welcome in the hope your just leave. I would not be surprised to hear your gubbed also - as thats usually another step (excluded from promotions like money back specials, free bets, best odds guaranteed). The final step when you don't take the hint will be restricted to zero on the sports book. Yet you will still be welcome in Casino/Slots - feel free lose your shirt their. These companies don't run books anymore, the model is different - it's now about identifying anyone that's likely to not be profitable in the long term and weeding them out. Then odds and promos not so important as its a pool of mugs. Can feed off them forever more. It happens to all who bet smart or take value, consistently make a profit or show they may do well. Slowly over time you're have less and less operators you can use. Only time this won't occur is if you live in a country with laws against such (like Australia that have a minimum bet law). Write to your countries law makers and ask for better laws on gambling to stop operators being able to do this.

You're absolutely right. the latest fiasco is Unibet advertising 1.93 on Oddschecker for BTTS in Bournemouth Liverpool tomorrow. Yet they will not take so much as ten euro bet on it, restricted to 5.43. Whoever gave the shower of shysters Horse Racing operator of the year had some sense of humour.

Anohter gripe is how they are allowed to advertise prices they have no intention of honouring. In any other Industry they would be heavily fined for this.
