Farseer Posted January 3, 2022 Share Posted January 3, 2022 Hi folks. Haven't been playing poker a lot during COVID due to some major obstacles, but getting back to it. Last year just 124h of poker and 445 MTTs (probably less than any year since I started playing around 2005) for some minor profit. Made over 60k€ from casino and sportsbook stuff though (concentrated more on those, as they don't require as much concentration and effort). Week ago played and got a little trophy: Yesterday woke up 8 PM, decided to jump right at the deep end (playing 50 R/A's too) and got 2nd place from Odyssey. Would've been fun to start this with trophy pics (also was like 6th at Gorsky) but better than nothing: Playing on other sites too, but naturally gonna concentrate on Unibet stuff here. Those are only MTTs I am currently playing (I like Banzai Bounties too, but too bad there's no offering of that at buy-in levels 5€ up when I am playing). At least I busted all other players @ FT before I busted you :) It was a fun little tournament. Too bad I was too tired (just woke up 15 min before these started) to stream these, but maybe next time. Probably streaming either on Sunday or early next week, have some targets on other sites but probably playing all 5€+ R/A's (expect 5€ Sputnik, it is too slow for small prize pool at prime time spot) on Unibet then. I had also two huge winning events (AO and Stockholm PGL Major) and those brought me over half of the winnings. I also lost almost the same amount during Euro2020. I was basically drunk over that whole event and made very few smart bets. Some arbitrage alongside bonuses @ Sportsbook, but I've never been overly fond of watching sports so just grabbing for the money. +50k came from casinos and +11k from sportsbook. Farseer Posted January 10, 2022 Author Share Posted January 10, 2022 Hard to get grinding mode on. Yesterday played half a dozen MTTs, but felt tired after a while so skipped the rest. Sleeping problems and sort of uncertainty and fear of loss are really hard to get by. Add bit of unlucky spots to fuel that uncertainty and it's a challenge to get over with. Year so far money-wise has been amazing, as won almost 160x with one 25€ freebet and so far poker, casino and sportsbook are all positive (over +6k€). So might seem odd that fear of loss might cripple grinding, but I just fcking hate losing. Also sleep problems are at least in part due to outside stuff. Bubbled Titan after 3x runner-runners, mincashed Multiverse and got lame 3rd place at this small but slow MTT (just ended after over 4 hours of runtime, 12 min late level blinds are just lame). Was also very lame to see 50€ Sputnik removed for Saturday at least, and 25€ Neptune + 10€ Sputnik didn't even launch today. Looks badly like Unibet R/A offering is becoming very poor. Hope it will change and Neptune 25, Titan 10 and Multiverse 5 are still great MTTs to play. Probably skipping 5€ Sputnik in the future as 5 hours of potential runtime for a MTT which pays 100€ for 1st (and costs at least 10€) is not a great deal. 2 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Pretty good spot at LB so playing rest of the tournaments, though it is hard to find motivation for small games when you first lose 400€ for +EV-casinos just before them within 5 minutes 😄 Gotta play some more Europa Universalis 4. But this time hopefully not playing until 11 AM when trying to solve stalemate between England (me) and France, latter holding continent but Royal Navy ruling the seas and not bowing down on demands of some baguettes 🤣 1 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Farseer Posted January 21, 2022 Author Share Posted January 21, 2022 Yesterday got just few bounties (horrible runs) and fell first time out from 1st place (to 3rd) at the leaderboard. Moneywise not a big deal although used all extra entries. I also made a new MTT calendar. Running 20-04 (Finnish time), spanning over 4 sites, total buy-ins 1500 and 44 MTTs if played all, out of which 7 are from Unibet (all 5+ R/A's at that timetable except 5€ Sputnik which is too slow for such meek prize pool). Hope to see some new R/A's added or at least not taken away, or it might be I'll remove Unibet from my schedule altogether (let's say if Titan and Neptune were removed, I would just skip Unibet all together at least outside UOS and add games from other sites). 1 1 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Leaderboard looks sour (3rd well behind top2 and it is still updating), as only top3 gets paid well and there's still 2 days left. Gotta try to reach 1st for the Lion's Share! But now I gotta do something fun and gotta get some rest, so I can do at least 1 full good grind day this week using my new schedule (playing these KOs alongside, skipping some early slow MTTs to give them room). Gotta be rested and well prepared for it, as grinding MTTs for 8+ hours is really tough work. Farseer Posted January 25, 2022 Author Share Posted January 25, 2022 Sunday was horrible. Max buy-ins and just one minbounty at 5€ one. But got 300€ bonuspoints from leaderboard. Europa Universalis 4 is taking most of my time now. During weekend and yesterday already 49,8 hours played! There's hundreds of casinos and there's daily offers where you get wager free freespins, reload bonuses or cash back. So, the slot is not +ev, but the promo/bonus makes it one. Finally FT-bubbled 5r Multiverse, pushing 12bb (other table had 4 players with all of them bit smaller stacks mine had big ones) A5o, meeting ATs and 7th place for mincash. +800€ about, but terrible feeling. Strange though that by going other way around (terrible start, great finish with 1,3k$ trophy) feeling would be quite opposite. Planned for full 8+ hour session, but stopped registering after 4 hours except quick ones like Multiverse as started feel bit tired. 6,5 hours total.
