Gambling Safely

I am writing with a complaint about your company and betting rules which are absolutely abhorent.  I noticed last week that after an excellent run of betting, you stopped taking double bets from me on odds over a certain limit and it really angered me.  However, i continued to bet on horses believing that despite this, everything else was normal including Best Odds Guaranteed which is the only thing i insist on when placing a bet.

Today, i have now noticed you have stopped paying me on Best Odds Guaranteed and a phone call to your agents confirm this has been the case for over a week now to which i have had no email and no messages in my account despite you saying there has been.

Essentially, you are penalising me for winning.  If i had lost all those races, you would happily let me lose more and more and more and more but because im winning you are no stopping me betting doubles, reducing my bonus bets and have removed Best Odds Guaranteed despite someone else puting the same bets on and getting access to all 3 of those.  So you are discriminating against me.

How in the hecks name does this comply with REsponsible Gambling Policy and how can this be ok with Gambling commission.  Is it LEGAL to only penalise people who are winning and NOT even have the decency to contact them about it, not that i would have been happy with that either.

This is a disgrace and I will be taking this to the press and lawyer unless you put this right.

With so many people in such a state with gambling, how can you sleep at night taking this stance when you have someone winning.

@Dolfinco

I don't know wether you have but most punters start betting without reading any terms and conditions or give them only a fleeting glance in passing, I doubt that Unibet's differ in any major way from the vast majority of betting sites. It's an unfortunate fact of life but once you're marked down as a winning punter you're going to be restricted in one way or another.

15 Betting Rules

15.3 Unibet reserves the right to make changes to the betting limits, pay-out limits and offerings.

17 Unibet Racing

17.2 Unibet reserves the right to make changes to the betting limits, pay-out limits and offerings and add or remove promotions at Unibet's discretion at an individual customer level.

 Sadly I haven't hit that problem yet but I live in hope. 😥

How can this be compliant with Gambling Responsibly ?  See if there was someone on the losing side where they start refusing their bets or taking bonuses away from them to discourage them from losses then that would be ok.

Bur surely you cannot promote Gambling responsibly on one hand then on the other, stop a winning gambler from winning.

How can bet limitations not be compliant with responsible gambling? I have a hard time following your line of thought here. The term responsible gambling literally has nothing to do with the aspect you're talking about.

You can always send a bet for manual approval, if you aren't happy with the pre-approved amount - unless it's a live bet.
