Release date: 16th November Next release: 18th January The two biggest changes in this release you’ll likely notice as soon as you open a table. The table design has gotten an overhaul - not the backgrounds but the table elements - and you can now communicate with other players at the table. Visually it might look quite similar at first glance, depending on the game type you play, but there’s a fairly long list of changes. I’ll try and summarize the main ones below, looking at 9 handed MTT tables on desktop, as these are the most crowded. The short version: we’ve tried to keep the tables clean and move elements off the table felt. Lastly, there's also a bunch of promotions included in the release - also some new ones - as the next release is in January. Promotions: Still running/upcoming from previous release(s): High Hand, 8th Nov – 30th Nov November mission, 1st – 31st Nov Bi-weekly personalized offers Replay Rewards Player of the Year (all 2021) Included in this release: UOS 14, 28th Nov - 14th Dec 31 Days of Xmas, 1st Dec - 31st Dec Santa Boost (New), 1st Dec - 31st Dec Santa Flips, 1st Dec - 31st Dec Weekly loyalty points races (New), 29th Nov - 2nd Jan January missions Eastern European Hero and Nordics Cup - local MTT promotions Coming in January release: UOS 15, 20th Feb – 6th Mar JP Mania Happy Hour edition, 2nd Feb – 13th Mar February Mission Spoiler Improved 31 days of Christmas display in promo widget: Santa boost screenshots: New features/Improvements Improved table UI Functionality: Switch between BB and chips can now be done with a single click/tap of your own stack (when play in BB is enabled) Visual changes: Villain avatar size reduced Hero avatar size reduced significantly Card size (card back) increased to make it more obvious which players are still in the hand Action label moved “outside” of the player box and now shows on top of the box when relevant Cards (back) moved to be aligned with player box and no longer covers the avatars Player boxes moved further away from table felt to make table less crowded and avoid elements overlapping Text alignment of villain alias and stack size changed to move text away from table felt Infobox (tournament stats in lower left corner) improved in various ways: 9 handed no longer vertical format Space between figure and “BB” text removed, to avoid small font size when with 4-5 digit figures Next level timer font size separate from blinds, to avoid text size scaling down with blind text Bounty positions changed so that bounty always shown in same position (relative to other player elements) Some font visibility increased (hero hand strength, previous action box) In spectator mode, hero position at the table now looks "normal" Moved the replayer controls to limit miss clicks when playing with table priority Table chatter tool in the shape of emojis and animated characters. If you’ve ever played poker on another platform and paid attention to the table chat, you’ll surely have seen messages such as“F*** you, you little **** ****** *****” and “Die you lucky ******* ******”. Table chat doesn’t exactly bring out the best in people, when emotions are flying high as villain hits a one-outer. Due to this, we never considered adding text chat to the client (at least not as a feature available on all tables), but we wanted to make it possible to communicate and interact at the table in a fun and different manner. After discussing a few different options, we decided to go with a combination of animated emojis and characters. Below some basic details about the feature: When you sit down at a new table, you get a credit of 5 chatter uses, which you can use at any time When you use an emoji or character at the table, a countdown of 40 seconds will commence and after the 40 seconds you get another credit added to your balance (you can have a maximum of 5) Your credit will always be visible when clicking the chatter icon (5/5, 2/5 etc.). When you’ve used all 5, a countdown in seconds will appear You can mute a specific table You can disable the feature completely in settings For the upcoming "Eastern European Hero" and "Nordics Cup" MTT promo, new avatars and table backgrounds added Four new casino in poker games have also been added: Volatile Vikings Dead Man's Trail Top Dawg$ Chip Spin Bug fixes Removed the letter ‘r’ that sometimes got added to the tournament description when using the enter button in Tour Template. Fixed issue with problem scrolling the MTT players list on iOS (issue could have been on other channels as well). Fixed issue with issue open replayer in L4 Hall of Fame in Game Lab from mobile. In L6 Hall of Fame there was an issue with the Loyalty Points leaderboard, fixed now. Fixed issue where chips get stuck in top left corner on mobile in some cases when you rotate device. Downtime We are updating Unibet Poker server side on Tuesday 16/11/2021 05:00-06:00 UTC. Games will be paused during update. New SNG tournament creation disabled 1 hour before update. And what with those backgrounds that are not working?? It wil be only in mtt? Is that right??? Indeed. The current view looks like this: httpsfi.unibet.compokerpoker-browser-new.pdf I also occasionally play in Pokerihuone using the dedicated app available via App Store. The app looks like this: As one can see, playing in the Safari browser (UB) doesn’t show the symbols nor the full Avatar below the screen; this is also case when actual playing action is ongoing, for example, Check and Raise buttons which show only partially. The problem is not new to this newest build but somewhat exaggerated compared to earlier versions. I wonder if anyone else is experiencing similar “problems”? As things currently stand the playing action (with iPad using Safari browser, latest iOS 15.1) is somewhat difficult since the buttons used for playing are barely visible and clickable: for me, at least, only the colors of the buttons - that is the upper edges of the playing buttons - are visible and not even the texts (”check”, “raise” etc.) are shown. Feels like a bad joke. The player to your right is too cloose this doesnt feel like "a clean layout" or whatever you tried to make. Big disapointment imo. Appreciate the feedback 🙂 Can you elaborate a bit on how you're struggling telling who's in what position? You're right that there's less space between hero and players on either side, albeit it's very little; these players covered a bit too much of the table felt before. Limited how much they can be moved to the side (to avoid clashing with other elements), but they could potentially be moved up a bit. If the cards would be moved to the left there wouldnt be a problem imo, and the avatars are not symetrical Yes, 6 handed tables are a bit of a challenge in this regard, when items are aligned left or right in the box (was also like that with the old design, in terms of cards and avatar, but not text). Center align will be a bit odd and difficult, at least if we're talking avatar and cards. The text could potentially be center aligned and card and avatar positions swapped around. These products are now all showing as available⚠️⚠️ there's a chance i have made mistake and they have expired but i think that is very unlikely, i think these products were blocked until next year. P0kerM0nk Posted November 16, 2021 Share Posted November 16, 2021 (edited) I'm going with @Tomi22 and say that this update is terrible, looked decent enough before and now it's like someone drunk made a new table layout for no apparent reason, not for 6max cash tables anyway. First of all the alignment as mentioned, what is that all about, look at the empty space left of my own nickname, very bizarre. Every player having their nick in the middle like before is way more slick than this. Then the top up button is strange as covers half the area of my nickname 'box' more or less and the right hand side covers the BB/actual money value toggle which is bit annoying and also weird. Also preferred the old way of topping up where you can just click the whole box or on your name rather than a smaller slightly undefined area now. Then the chat bubble icon looks almost like the Button and might be confusing as well, maybe not the ideal place for a chat icon dunno. Also Button is now on the left and right next to the chips. On mobile the chat icon sits above our nickname box which makes it even more look like a dealer Button. Shouldn't that be sitting within the nickname box maybe? Would make more sense and they left some space for it too 🤣 EDIT, oh yeh I forgot there are avatars lol, still could be a way of merging both the avatar and the chat bubble 😛 Also weird is how the nickname box expands to add the action info, raise/fold etc and then goes back to previous size after, daft. Normal size Expanded size Old style, pretty neat imo. Apart from the chat icon, I'm not sure what the reason is for all these changes tbh.
