Tomorrow, at Wednesday, October 6th, it`s been  3 weeks since I made a deposit at Unibet. But still I have not got the deposit in my Unibet-account, no received my money back tom my bank-account..

I have contact the Norwegian support (Live Chat) three times and asked @Jami-Unibet here several times about WHEN I got my money in my Unibet-account or back to my bank-account. But it seems like that no one knows anything.. Like it is normal for Unibet to don`t care about their old and loyal customers.. I have been a member of Unibet since year 2005. And not in my wildest dream I had thought that Unibet would treat their customers this way.

So now I will go to the Norwegian newspapers and warn people against playing at Unibet.

Yes, only silence.. An that`s annoying 😡

Anything yet?

Have you contacted the norwegian newspapers as you wrote this tuesday?

I have problem getting my withdrawal to my norwegian bank account. It is just out there in Limbo I guess.

But I guess no one at Unibet cares.

I have also been a members at Unibet for many many years, and this non-response from the customer service that you are experiencing is just unheard of.

I really thing you ought to contact the newspapers actually.

Who is responsible for Unibet Support?  I received this mail today:
I don't even understand the Norwegian , clearly used a translator tool.

Who is Ivanna?   And what does she mean by BIN on my card?  I use MuchBetter.

Kjære XXXXXXX,

Takk for at du kontakter Unibet.

Kan du vennligst oppgi hvilken BIN av kortet du bruker for å heve det ytterligere med finansavdelingen.

På forhånd takk for din forståelse og samarbeid.

Ønsker deg en fin ettermiddag.

Med vennlig hilsen,

What would be point of contacting newspapers? Just out of curiosity 🙂

"I gambled where goverment don't want me to gamble and now i am in trouble" would not help you at all but it would be easy pass for your goverment to justify their tightened legislation.

I think think these missing transfers are cause of your gambling laws and restrictions, not so much to do with unibet. Ofc it would be nice that they would give you info and you wouldn't have to rely on my guessing.

To bet or not to bet, that is the question.

Then why would the Norwegian site recommend these payment methods , if Norway has become a restricted country ?  It does not make sense. They want us to deposit.

Well, i ain't no expert on this but with just putting 1+1 together, these kind of problems may occur when unibet&others don't have licence to operate in your country and your goverment is trying to stop you for gambling to foreign sites with restriction and unibet &payment providers are trying to find solutions and ways around restrictions. In this chaos, transfers may not always be as easy as you are used to.

So the world champion in chess (Magnus Karlsen), the norwegian ambassador for Unibet Norway - is promoting Unibet Norway for his fellow countrymen even though it is illegal for them to bet there?

And Unibet is having commercials on tv in Norway even though it is illegal for norwegians to gamle there?

Makes no sense to me

As far as i know, it ain't illegal for you to use foreign online casinos but they don't have licence to operate in Norway.

What comes to Magnus, i doubt he is ambassador anymore, at least if he lives in Norway, cause due your gambling laws he could get in trouble for promoting Unibet.

Lot of sources at internet, even more for norwegians to know what is going on, what you can do and how to do it 🙂

It is all very contradictory what you write in the first paragraph.

As far as it comes to Carlsen, you are wrong.

Here is proof.

Unibet is Carlsen's main sponsor during 2020-2021.

He is not specifically tied to the Norwegian market.

And no, it's not illegal, but that doesn't mean the local gambling authority isn't doing everything they can to make our lives difficult 🙂 There's a reason we don't have the same payment provider for a long time, like on literally all other markets.

For withdrawals I don't believe it's an issue, but a withdrawal can get stuck regardless of market. I can't check your case now, but money will eventually be returned to the Unibet account, if the withdrawal failed for whatever reason (typo in name, technical issue etc.)

Maybe i am reading this wrong, these new laws ain't used yet, they have figured out loophole how to keep Carlsen out of trouble or what not but as our goverment is looking to bring out legislation that allows goverment to fine up to 50k individuals who promote online gambling and i looked if other countries have something similar, i came across with this:

https://igamingbusiness.com/norway-cracks-down-on-unlicensed-market-as-government-submits-gambling-act/

Under the new law – which was criticised by sections of the Norwegian gaming industry when first proposed for continuing the monopoly system – marketing gambling without a Norwegian licence is prohibited. The government said that this would apply not only to operators, but also to those who “pass on” customers, such as affiliates.

“Violation of the ban can result in punishment,” the government said.

But like said, ain't expert on your laws. You can find better info on your own

To bet or not to bet, that is the question.

Only €10 as a test .    Tried all deposit methods.  Do you have any news ?  Unibet support are of no help.

Regarding MuchBetter , it works with Betsson,  Pokerstars and oher sites.  Deposit and cashout within hours.  So why cant Unibet sort it out?

Thanks,   so I have €10 in my account.   Appreciate it.

So I decided to try again with MuchBetter , and as you can see from the screenshot , the same error again.  I hope you can bring some positive news about the deposit methods soon.   I talked to MuchBetter support as well, and they have no problems at their end.

There's a pending case with the developers now, to look closer at this.

I guess you are disappointed now, because this time it was Unibet.. Btw, strange that you think Unibet can never do anything "wrong".

I can't find MuchBetter as a deposit option anymore. Instead it has been replaced with Revolut wallet.

So is this the change you are talking about?    @Stubbe-Unibet

Yes, I was advised muchbetter shouldn't be an option in Norway but that you could use the Revolut option instead; which should support muchbetter.

  • 3 months later...

Unibet Norway have removed @WIZZ Visa from the deposit-options today.

So I had to deposit with "Only VISA" today and again the deposit failed 😡

Talked to the English Live Chat and they said I got my money back to my bank-account about some days..

This happen too often and not fun at all when I want to play today! Not next week..

And the Norwegian "Helpcenter" is down.. and no Norwegian Live Chat.. Too bad

Anyone who can help me in some way? @Jami-Unibet, @Stubbe-Unibet
