BillyR23
I hate that mostly strikers appear in this kind of rankings all the time and people forget that football is a sport played with 11 players... I would love players like Xavi, Iniesta, Modric, Xabi Alonso, Lampard, Maldini, Terry, Buffon, Cannavaro (and lots others) to get more credit for their work on the pitch...Just look how good Messi is at Barca where he has a great midfield to create chances for him and how he plays for Argentina. You cannot have a positive life and a negative mind...

Play_Analyst
Georgie Best, and that was said by Pele so who am I to argue.Yeah in these days of perfect pitches and inflated egos you can say players like Zlatan, Ronaldo, (the old Ronaldo not the new one), Marradona are greats but for me the greatest player of all was George Best. Even on a muddy waterlogged pitch he could do things with a football us mere mortals could only ever dream of and he made it look so easy.
