NFL Sunday Selection #1 In Focus 10* selection

Sunday September12th 1pm Rotation #459 Arizona Cardinals @ #460 Tennessee Titans

Line Titans -3  -105 @unibet (Wednesday Sept 8th)

This Sunday In Focus Selection is one I feel is one of my strongest ones Lets start with a preamble, I never like teams that habitually get off to a slow start, and the Titans do just that going 1-4 the last 5 seasons in week 1, and the month of September has not been stellar.

Arizona the media darlings to start last season resulted in them being favored early and often when they really should not have been, and disappointed backers from the get-go. However, now we find them being viewed with much skepticism and scorn, alas our coveted value is realized.

Lets turn and focus on the tangibles here. The OL . I really like this group, its young in its prime and a healthy Justin Pouch starting at left guard is just what the doctor ordered. This line will turn heads this season and the main beneficiary of this will be a more focused Kyler Murray. While the run game was solid last year ranking 8th- I expect to see the passing game go from 17th to a top 10!

On the defense side of the ball Kudos to Steve Keim the GM for recognizing the holes needed to be filled in on stopping the run by adding outstanding linebackers Zaven Collins and Isaaih Simmons in the 1st rounds of the draft. This unit will be tested against the punishing ground attack of the Titans, I believe thy shut down the Titans and pass this week 1 test forcing a noodle armed Tannehill to throw into the top 10 secondary of the Cardinals. Interception party anyone?

Bottom line is give me the Cardinals ALL DAY LONG  on Sunday as the wrong team is favoured here.

PLAY ON #459 Arizona Cardinals +3 and like myself MONEYLINE +138 @unibet

CFB Saturday Selection In Focus 10 * Selection

9/11/21 2:30 PM

333 Toledo @ 334 Notre Dame

Line Notre Dame -16.5 @unibet Sept 8

In Focus starts by looking at the obvious strength and weakness Notre dame only returns 9 starters from last year 3 on Offensive and 6 on Defense, while on contrast the class of the MAC Toledo Rockets return all starters on both sides of the ball from last year

This is a BIG aggressive Toledo team with a nasty attitude on the field. They like to run the ball relentlessly throughout the game wearing down opposing teams and this just maybe the formula to have success against a Notre Dame defense that is missing several key run stoppers. Clock management will be key. I look for long time-consuming drives by Toledo. This is one dangerous game that isn't lost on Notre Dame head coach "We're playing a really good team in Toledo," Kelly said. "After watching their film, this is probably the finest MAC team that we've brought into the stadium since I've been here. So we're going to have to be prepared, and we're on a short week."

Bottom line In Focus has me playing on Toledo Big Time!

Gold medal Club *IN FOCUS* 10 Star

CFB:Satuday Sept 11 7pm est

371Texas @ 372 Arkansas

Current line Texas -7

Where to begin her- well for one thing does Texas really deserve to be ranked? In my opinion NO.15 returning starters a new quarterback? ranked 69 in total defense last year with no noticeable improvements 114th against the run?

Arkansas a recent disappointment however is flying under the radar with 20 returning starters with a determination to pound the football this year with standout Trelon Smith. The OL is in there 3rd year together and opened up gaping holes against Rice last week.

The stadium will be a rockin with a full house for the Razorbacks in this rivalry game, cant see how Texas wins this game.

IN FOCUS PICK:

Play on ARKANAS +7 and Moneyline +200

CFB:

Rotation: #123 Western Michigan @ #124 Pittsburgh U

Kickoff: Sat, Sep 18 12:00 PM ET

Line Pittsburgh -15

Pittsburgh has beat a woeful Tennessee team and Massachusetts BIG DEAL!! They are 2-0 and flying high with a 12th ranked passing game and the Books are rewarding them for this.

Meanwhile Western Michigan had to face ranked Michigan to start the season and was humbled- but got back on track by trouncing Illinois state 28-0 . The Broncos showed a balanced attack this year so far which has kept the defense of the field.

What is impressive is the talented senior secondary is ranked 16th, and should have a field day with the aggressive Pitt passing game. With the Broncos returning 19 starters this is a mature team travelling to Pittsburgh as double digit dogs and should prove wonders for motivation.

Play on Western Michigan +15 and stay focused!

Gold Medal Club *In Focus* 10* NFL Selection

Game time: Sunday September 19th 1:00pm est

Rotation #269 New Orleans Saints @ #270 Carolina Panthers

Current line New Orleans -3.5

Panthers- shut down the jets completely in the running game can they do that against Kamara? well looking at the current state of the OL injuries to the saints I say the chance is good. The plan will be to make Winston make the plays necessary- but with that line banged up he is going to be running for his life.

The books know everyone loves a team that takes another team out to the woodshed especially a respected team like the packers, so this line is inflated.

Now to Carolina- they aren’t flashy I like them outdoors on grass play to the gaps and expect some zone blitz packages. I expect a heavy dose of McCaffery in this game and over 100 yards. Expect the home fans to cause some confusion for the Saints

Bottom line *IN FOCUS* has me all over Carolina+3.5

well the linemaker's sharpened there pencils for week 2, job well done there numbers match up with my own save for a few games. As always the public likes to over react to week 1 performances. I will mention a few- as I only am covering 10* In focus picks here it bears mentioning anyway. First are the Bengals really THAT good? to drop the line like that. I don't think so and am on Chicago -1 BIG TIME. Second Seattle is up to -6...I know they beat Indy and are returning home. But look at the box score in that Indy game. Indy won the battle but lost the war. They are facing an embarrassed Titans squad who will certainly be surly..ahh the public perceptions. Bookmakers dreams.

Tread carefully this week and good luck as always!

Cheers
