You were really lucky against Denmark. Late equalizer and penalties. Good game against Netherlands and pretty even final with Portugal [to me Germany was better even if Portugal had clearer chances].

You know brother of Baku [name after the player Karlheinz Riedle, IMO one of the best header specialist ever, usually i dislike german players from a get go but that one was one of my favs] was playing this season in Poland in one of the poorest aufsteigers Warta Poznan? Mostly pace merchant with little to no technique but he was pretty decent there, score some goals and now some better teams in Poland are after him.

We are leaving with France [top favourite after return of Benzema], stacked Portugal [they play just dire football now, but they played the same when they won the Euro] and Germany with great offensive power. If Werner scores 3-4 goals Havertz 2-3, Kimmich 2 i dont see them lower than semis, even with Loew and that defence.

Didn't know about Baku's twin brother, that's interesting.

Regarding Germany's chances, you might want to reconsider, simply due to Löw messing around. On paper, the team is stacked (9 guys who won the UCL in 20 and 21) plus players like Hummels, Sane, Gündogan, Kroos. However we don't have a killer striker up front (Volland is not likely to be played). Maybe I watch the 2nd half vs France...

We're gonna win on so many levels! We're gonna win, win, win. You're gonna get so tired of winning, you're gonna say: "Mr. President please, we don't wanna win anymore, it's too much!" And I'm gonna say: "I'm sorry, we're gonna keep winning because we're gonna make America great again!"

Wait, the English National Team is kneeling before kick-offs? 🤮 Did anybody already tell Southgate that fans are allowed to be in the stands for the tournament? Well...

Gareth should really use all his energy to make sure England don't fail again instead of less meaningful things.

Milik and van de beek are out of action to complicate matters for Poland and Holland.

Leicester City target Jonas Hofmann suffered a knee injury training on Thursday causing the Borussia Mönchengladbach midfielder to miss the session. Should the injury rule Hofmann out of the Euros. 😕

Who's now going to pump up the footballs and serve cold drinks during practice? Will "Die Mannschaft" ever recover?

Apparently Eriksen is stable and road to recovery, best wishes for that. Looked quite scary but maybe silverlining was that it happened during match where medical staff was available asap and hospital next door.

But as show must go on, next stop Russia to steal another 3 points and then we will be fighting for group win against Belgium 😄

Mixed feelings, can't really celebrate now. Feel bad for Danes.

Seems that Eriksen is fine❤️. Maybe this will unite people and we will see great Euro Championship

Thats how it ends when you dont rest the players fucking uefa and fifa. Since the may of 2020 these players have literally no break, we have discussed it here before how insane is that. Three injuries before halftime (!) in the Bel - Rus game and Eriksens trouble, only after two days, let alone the shit quality. And i dont even wanna go back to the last season, listing how many players were injured because no space here. But of course, we all need and cant wait for the friendly matches and the Nations League...

Cutting little bit corners there 😄 Rest of last season continued june, after very long break. Number of subs increased. Didn't watch 1st half of Bel- Rus but wasn't those injuries knocks?

While i agree that there is too many competition and nations league should be buried, otherwise don't see connection.

But anyhow, left testicle has been shouting Ukraine last couple hours, guess i have to make little bet for them.

Well, our beloved Bundesliga started on the 16th of may... 😜

The very long break its correct during the global lockdown, but i assume we can agree its not the same. The loading during the season its tricky, the best form is timed for the spring when titles are at stake, so when they were about to be in top form, had to stop and train at home... Back after like 2 months and play every 3 days without proper build up, stop for few weeks and back again, but no break since that... It doesnt work this way, no coincidence we didnt see a team with the best lineup this season, and there are so many injuries already in the first halfs (one again from Ukraine). I could mention NBA as well, since the corona appeared its the second time in a row when injuries decide the outcomes in the PO. There is a connection, obviously. But who cares when money is at stake 🤑 🤐

Alrighty then, must apply to all other leagues too 😄

Don't know if there is connection or not, just haven't seen it. But if Zlatan was up to join national team again out of free will, can't be lack of energy to anyone 😋

😜 LOL at you for watching the Euro! I hope you had fun with Austria- North Macedonia and Wales-Switzerland! I was watching Kenny vs Spenny yesterday and probably got more entertainment out of it. 😆

Anybody here able to tell me why Southgate didn't even nominate Sancho for the matchday roster and why Thomas Meunier ended up with 2 scorers for Belgium? This looks like bizarro world...

Can't be that bad. Austria filled with players from Best League in the world and N-Macedonia won best national team in wc qualifiers. Germany can't lose to bad teams, can they 😆

UEFA really screwing up here. Incredibly how they go out in public and say that it was all up to the players and they were the ones to decide continuing the game later that evening, when they were given two choices:

  1. Continue later that evening
  2. Get a terrible nights sleep, get up early and head to the stadium again the next day for then to continue the game at 12:00....

Well done UEFA 🙂

Seeing Eriksen get heart massage, getting revived with the defibrillator and then the wife on the sideline..... That was something else and obviously should never have been shown on TV either (most countries cut away at least before the defibrillator action, but of course not Malta 😄).

Congrats to the Finnish team I guess. 23-1 in shots - despite Denmark having a terrible game after the Eriksen incident - and getting 3 points 😂

Tough road for Denmark now, but perhaps they can turn it around against Belgium, fighting for Christian. Missing the best player is quite the blow even if there're decent alternatives on the position.

Denmark would have won and i'm pretty sure none saw any problems with continue time? We can assume that it wasn't easy to continue for either side but with tight schedule and tickets sold to next matches,i guess there wasn't lot of options how to proceed. In any case, what is done is done. To future we look...

Denmark pressed really high which left us only to play long balls. Needless to say Pukki ain't no target player so Denmark was in possession within seconds again 😄

But with confidence boost from win, i expect much better performance against Russia. With our squad it will never be too pretty so it has to be efficient af.

We take care of Russia so you need at least one point to leave door open. Ez pz 🙂
