Conman
Asking for a friend who placed a double on Thursday on Pretty Gorgeous in the 1,000 Guineas with Thunder Moon in the 2,000 Guineas who thinks he get a single on Thunder Moon - as Pretty Gorgeous was withdrawn on Friday. I thought that this will be classified as antepost and therefore it will be settled as a loser. Can someone clarify?
GR1ZZL3R
HI @Conman Tell your friend that when they place any antepost bet they need to check terms and conditions. Antepost bets can come with the bonus of getting bigger odds but the risk of losing your bet if the horse is withdrawn, usually more than 24 hours before the race. A normal double would indeed become a single with a non runner and most bookies have similar rules, but there can be variations, so without knowing the exact t&c's I couldn't tell you more as it depends. 🐎 "It turns out that 75% of all poker players think they play better than the other 75%."
