I received a letter from the DVLA informing me that my driving license is due for renewal and inviting me to apply on-line for a new one, cost £14, or apply at my local post office, cost £21.50. No real decision to be made there so log in to GOV.UK and start the process. Fill in all the details then hit a block."The DVLA need to know it is you applying and you need an up to date passport to apply."My passport is only six months old, so joined the chat to try and resolve the issue.Fill in all the details (name, address, dob etc etc etc,) a second time for the Virtual Assistant and asked to wait for a live assistant. Twenty seven minutes later, "Sorry we can't complete your request just now," chat ended.Tiltmeter: 9/10. :annoyed:Try again tomorrow or not? :wonder: 1 "It turns out that 75% of all poker players think they play better than the other 75%." I received a postal communication offering 20 free spins with £20 deposit, winnings in cash, AND 50 free spins with £50 deposit,winnings in cash, AND 50% deposit bonus up to £200 but with playthrough stipulations, that one's of no interest to me, but I'm game for the first two. So I deposited £20 but no promo code came up. So onto live chat. "You are number 12 in the queue, we will be with you shortly" OK, I'll wait but please stop calling me shortly. 🤣 Fifteen minutes later. This has given me £1888.65 profit over the period, leaving a single solitary unusable £1 bonus wich I've attempted to have removed twice. Checking my monthly bills I noticed that my tv, wifi and phone package cost had shot up, due to the 18 months contract running out, imo an excessive increase, so onto what could be another stressing phone call. A pleasant twenty minutes conversation ended with my new 18 months contract LESS than previous with virtually no change in the package details and the last month's increase knocked off my next bill. 🤩 It's not all tilting.
