If i were down over 200€ it was better to quit for that week and get tickets for dts for chance of 440€ rather than to play more.

Almost everything you write down you guys I accept, but this one. @Livertoolcan you name more members who CAN play like this when they are addicted to play? 😄

So you STOPPED PLAYING when you were "limit" down on the week at tuesday, you didn't play more on that week? of course!

If i lose big time or get disgusted otherwise, then i can go on and just play freerolls for long periods or not play at all. All the same to me, not going to ever provide my living with poker, i just like the game, small and big stakes. If i lose 10€ week and don't get any back, totally fine. But if amount is 500€ i would be glad to get at least some back.

In the second case I think Unibet is not for me regarding poker.if I'd have 500eur a week to play poker ............... I won't continue the sentence. 🙂 But you must be right! Hail the rich!

Those were more like reference numbers tha actual. But if you would lose 500€ a week, would you rather have 50€ of it back or 0.5€ if all losers woulg get paid something?

I've never really got to grips with this issue of paying losing players. In most walks of life you get paid to do a job, do it well and you may get bonuses or perks or some sort of rewards, but perform poorly and expecting to get something back has never been something I understood. I suppose you can equate it to a sportsman sportswoman sports participant (never understood political correctness either) entering a tourney but still getting paid something for losing in the first round, though continuing to do so would lead to fewer invites or chances and maybe having to give up. I've had a great run on the horses this month though the last three days have been a struggle. If it was to take a downturn I wouldn't expect UB or any other bookie to chuck me £20 quid and say "Carry on mate" but I do understand the poker economy is different and there are types of rewards like freebets.  Expecting to be rewarded for losing has never been part of my decision process, I stand or fall by my results, (mostly losing.) Possibly being rewarded a slight amount extra for being part of the community would be an added bonus, unlooked for but a nice surprise if it ever happens. Alongside all the value freerolls, community leagues, competions and so forth there is good value anyway, and I will still never understand anybody asking for something free with no offer in return. And yes, I am an old git.

Totally agree. Why not put that 15k per week for xtra prices in tournys for example? But no, we live in equality world where loosers must have share of cake too. What ever happened to concept of winning?

It is what it is and i get the point of giving back so loosers too feel awarded and continue playing. Since we are in this situation, everone would like to get their piece, including me

I don't think you play poker for 8-10 hours. It's obvious though. But even in tennis, participants share the prize pool for everyone.

I don't play poker for 8-10 hours, obviously. What has that got to do with this discussion. Yes, even in tennis participants share the prize pool, but not equally. Is the first round loser at Wimbledon payed the same amount as the winner? The winner of the current World Championship of Snooker will take £500,000, the first round losers get £5,000. Hardly sharing and only fair really. Those that play more, winning more rounds, get paid more. I pick and choose what and how much I play but don't expect to get rewarded for playing less or losing more. The culture these days is "Everybody's a winner," or at the least "There are no losers," totally absurd in my, and mainly my generation's, opinion.

Everwhere in business it's about rewarding the customer, shop here and get points awarded, buy this and get huge discounts on your next purchase, and leisure businesses are no exception. Customers expect rewards as a matter of course, poker sites reward players with bonus points, tickets, rakeback etc, but would your local supermarket give the same reward to someone who popped in once a week for a bottle of milk as someone who spent £50 a week there? It's all relative, but I wouldn't ask my local supermarket to give me extra rewards if I only waved through the window as I was walking to my local shop to have a natter with Virat about the next round of the Champions League.  I have nothing against giving players rewards, those that play a lot and spend a lot, but a losing player is getting some kick back in the form of rakeback anyway, and asking for more because you're losing just seems weird to me.

I don't agree with rewarding poor poker play at all. The only reward I see on point for poker is the bad beat jackpot. It's really funny people expect to be rewarded for their poor perfromance.

Poker is not only about work, but also about luck. You can grab like a god but lose.

Hypothetical cases.

  1. I play on Monday and win €1,000, I play on Tuesday and win €2,000, I play on Wednesday and win €3,000, ( hard to imagine but I did say hypothetical.) On Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday I play every high stakes tourney I can find and lose €10,000 in buy ins. I'm on a downswing, should I be rewarded?
  2. I play high stakes cash on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, losing €10,000. On Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday I have an upswing and win €4,000 on the week, should I be rewarded?
  3. I play a good mix of cash, sng's, hexas and tourneys and make €100 profit. Should I be rewarded?
  4. I play low stakes cash games all week, (more likely but all week may be stretching it a bit) and break even to within a few euros, should I be rewarded?
  5. I play for an hour on Wednesday and lose €50, should I be rewarded?
  6. I don't play a single hand of poker all week but on the community I post 46 replies, start 5 new topics, like 68 threads, have 4 answers accepted as solutions, and start 2 new blogs. Should I be rewarded?

You totally missed my point, @GR1ZZL3R. But perhaps it is because my poor english. Perhaps, because you are too loyal to Unibet (or to Stubbe).

I'm not begging for free money with my poor play (I wont explain that I lost two BI with my ace full against a RF and so on). I just don't understand the REPLACE of the Double Trouble promo with this one. This is not replacing, when in the second case I have no chance to participate in.

I regret the whole complaining...

If I missed your point I'm sorry but I'm not trying to get at you @Sparrow473 I'm trying to explain in general terms, and loyalty to any one person or company doesn't come into it, I call it as I see it. The whole point of the new rewards as I understand it is not to reward winning or losing players but to give better rewards and more rakeback to those that use the site more. You may not be chosen for a special mission but overall everyone should benefit to some extent no matter how small. The DT was purely for losing cash players, a little unfair to those playing other formats, no freeroll for losing sng or tourney players, so the money saved by discontinuing them is pushed back to the wider population, I think more fairly. It's not a straight replacement, more a spreading of whatever jam there is. Other companies, as far as I am aware, don't reward only customers buying one type of product. Again as far as I can see the chosen ones will be limited, and those of us playing low stakes and/or low volume are unlikely to be considered, as we are not for certain invitation only freerolls, but not being invited doesn't mean you're being picked on, just not being picked, same for me. I like this community but look at how many new members joined, asked for a freeroll ticket and have not posted one more single thread since. That's the sort of thing I'm getting at. 😥

Good customers are losing customers. Not so much for us as a business, but for anyone that plays poker on the site. The bad players are what makes poker good, so we reward the bad players for being good customers and keeping the games great. A reward to a bad player is also a reward to a good player. It's really quite simple.

If we don't take good care of the players like myself - the ones just playing for the entertainment and with no goals of winning long-term - everyone will suffer.

Above is a simplification, and of course we also depend on regs to have games running, but regs are rewarded with a much higher RB % due to their higher volume.

A replacement doesn't mean a copy and it replaced VIP and Super DT as well.

As mentioned above, it's very different, and the fact that all games types are included and you actually are guaranteed a prize instead of an entry into a tournament, that should make it obvious that the criteria are very different, when the reward sum is about the same.

I believe we're already offering incredible value to players losing in the range of €20-€50 a week, with the promotions we're running (community league a good example with 17-25 times the fees in added value and overlay 💰🤑) as well as the low rake (or no rake if nano MTT's) we're charging. If you look at the rake after RB, I think it's difficult to justify including these players in the replay rewards as well.

As previously mentioned in the thread, the community membership wasn't a requirement for receiving replay rewards, yet. I wanted players to have some time to find the promo onsite, and there're also markets that can't currently create an account on the community.

I'll include the community to a greater extent in the formula now. You can still get rewards, even if you aren't a member, but you'll get significantly more if you're a community contributor (and a little more if you're a member but rarely/never active on here). This should apply from next week, I just need @Jami-Unibet to get me a bit of data 🙂

In my opinion  you sholud back to previous solution when everything was simpler and more transparent. In period before "poker rewards" I had some tilt a few times (lost about 300-400 euro) and I always received some tickets to tournamnet for the biggest losers. Last week I lost almost 700 euro (about 675 euro) and I didn't recive anything so if anybody want to tell me that the formula of mystic algorithm is ok so I have to said that is ridiculous 🙃

Ok I received some additional mission (I can't found it at lobby before) but still in my opinion the previous solution was better. To be fair I have to said that the previous solution was better in my case and I know that in other situation of the players whose loosing very much money (much more than me) it may be better solution.

Just out of curiosity, is this available for casinohuone players too?

Since unibetcommunity is/will be requirement that tells me no but on the other hand when this promo replaced double troubles which were also available at casinohuone, that says yes to me 🤔

So am i right or right 😀

You're wrong, wrong, wrong; it's a Unibet exclusive promotion 😉
