Free bet almost impossible to use

I did the starter offer which awards a £40 free bet if your original £40 loses.

My first £40 stake was on the Newcastle game last night and lost. I tried to place the £40 free bet today, and apparently, it expires tomorrow! So I placed the bet, and fortunately, this bet is likely to win in the next 4 minutes.

Except that there is a wagering requirement of £120 for this free bet, so I need to find a game that takes place in the next two hours to place the remaining £80 bet!

It doesn't seem right that I have only 24 hours to wager £120 to get the value out of the free bet. Is this normal?
