Congrats . I just read the last 4 or 5 pages of this thread. It was really interesting to see the battle between you and .

Really brave move to bet so much money on Donald Trump, but you will get a great reward :wow:

Good luck playing the SNG25, keep me updated about how it goes. 😃

NO MORE HALF-MEASURES.

What can i say congratulations on your conviction (backed by large :cash1:) that Trump will win. I made bet on 12 odds really long ago (under 2E bet :scared:) then i placed bigger bet month ago at the 5.00 odd.  Then the odd wen down to 3.50 and i REALLY had the conviction that at the end it would 1.90-1.90, so i backed those 3.50 with bigger bet, but still not so high like you. And then there was yesterday that just before voting it was 5.00 on Trump!!!! So many deliverance and i place a bet but if it was 2.75 or 2.20 i would went all in, no doubt about it. But 5.00, does he have a freakin chance, can mainstream media be so wrong??? So, i made the bet but very little and now i have the worst day thinking what couldve been if i wasnt so scared of that 5.00 :haha:.

Seriously was there ever similar situation that politican would win with that kind of odds just before the voting?? Its crazy. And im hearing that in the beginning there was 60 odd on Trump :teardrop:.

the greatest trick the devil ever pulled was convincing the world he didn't exist

Thanks guys for the kind words and as I mentioned before, I hope some of you were able to take my advice and make money on this bet. Trump did it! Like Hannibal Smith used to say: "I love it when a plan comes together!" I won my bets, had fun triggering the forum marxists here and God emperor Trump takes over!

Looking back, almost everything I predicted turned out to be true, however I missed the boat on getting the best odds, simply because I  thought the betting public in Europe was much smarter than it turned out to be in the end. I mean, you had a corrupt and sick old grandma without any kind of vision losing the race against a popular outsider in a change election and yet we were gifted odds of 4.00, 4.50 and even 5.00 on the eve of the election. Regarding my state bets, North Carolina was never in doubt, Virginia was a value bet that unfortunately didn't hit and in New Hampshire Clinton is ahead by 1500 votes right now.

Speaking of Clinton, she did not even concede in person but sent John Podesta of wikileaks and #spiritcooking fame to do the tough job? Was she tired again at 2 AM or already drunk? I guess she must be totally broken now! IN 2008 she lost against an unknown black guy and yesterday she lost against a celebrity who isn't even a politician!  Couldn't happen to a nicer person... Anyway, I hope the next time we'll see her she is wearing an orange pantsuit, in a court room defending herself for all the crimes she committed!

I made shortly under 1K on this bet. In September I bet 10 buy-ins at SNG10 because of the incredible value at 3.25 and up until the first debate, the odds collapsed to 2.3. Everything went as I thought. However then, the odds increased at first with the biased reporting about his debate performance and I placed another bet. Then came the media hit job with his video tape and the odds went out of control and I had to keep reloading. In the end I decided to bet as much as I could without risking my poker bankroll too much. So in total I bet shortly under 400 Euro on Trump and today I received 1360 or so.

Great to hear that! Don't spend it all on hookers and blow...

I could make fun of you, but I'm in a presidential mood, just like President Trump! Since Amy Schumer, Lena Dunham and Miley Cyrus will move to Canada now, you're already punished enough.

The last time I checked, it was not President Trump who threatened Russia with war over unproven allegations of hacking his emails. The last time I checked, the same countries that fund the IS in Syria and Iraq weren't donating to the Trump foundation. The last time I checked it wasn't President Trump being in favor of marching into Iraq, bombing Libya and meddling in Syria. The world will be fine.

Congrats to you as well! The brexit had even slightly higher odds but a smiliar situation! Populist movement being actively surpressed by the mainstream media and the betting public falls for it! Like I mentioned in my first post here in September.

Like I said yesterday, I watched everything on the Clinton News Network and it was glorious! Best entertainment I had since the final season of Breaking Bad! If you want to have a nice laugh at liberals melting down, you can search youtube for Ana Navarro and Van Jones, two regulars at CNN, you won't be disappointed. Also you can search twitter for #Imwithher. And of course all those cucked Hollywood celebrities are losing it as well! Even Ariana Grande is in tears and I almost feel sorry for her, almost...:Cheeky:

Speaking of the mainstream media and the establishment, it's incredible that President Trump managed to tear down the whole rotten house of lies! My guess is that in the next few years we'll see the end of that whole PC culture and SJW madness. Major media players like CNN, NBC, ABC the NYT, the WaPo and even google, twitter and facebook have lost enormous amounts of credibility which will lead to their downfall and the rise of smaller news outlets. If you're interested, I read most of my US-news at breitbart and on r/the_donald, which are right-leaning but defintely not spreading lies like CNN et al.

So what's next for me? I try to move up to SNG25, let's see how it goes, 65 buy-ins is a nice cushion to take a shot. In 2017 there will be a lot of important elections here in Europe where the populist movement will continue. Depending on whether or not Unibet offers them, I have my sights on the election in my home state NRW, Germany in May 2017 and the federal election in Germany in September 2017. No, there's no Donald Trump over here and Germany is full of cucks and dreaming left wingers however there will be surprises as well.

Apart from that, maybe you want to bet a few cents on Trump winning the Nobel Peace Prize! I mean, the requirements aren't that high: Barry Obama received his for being black and being able to read a teleprompter. Al Gore got his for a fancy powerpoint presentation! Bringing peace to Syria in combination with Russia should do the trick...

We're gonna win on so many levels! We're gonna win, win, win. You're gonna get so tired of winning, you're gonna say: "Mr. President please, we don't wanna win anymore, it's too much!" And I'm gonna say: "I'm sorry, we're gonna keep winning because we're gonna make America great again!"

If you want to see the aftermath of Trump being elected, check out: https://mobile.twitter.com/ShaunKing

Minorities are being attacked, muslim women are having their hijabs ripped off by white males and being assaulted, buildings being tagged with neo nazi symbols etc.

Trump supporters are the scum of the Earth and it's only time before all these racists die off and we can finally progress.

  • 4 weeks later...

I've just been reading through the posts to this thread and I have to say that I was not in the least bit surprised that Trump won.

People seem to forget the lessons that history has taught us particularly when it comes to the world of polotics and finance. All across Europe and the US we see a shift to the right of the political spectrum and the mainstream media are pronouncing it as unheralded.

Well if you look back at the last major financial crash of the 1930's today's events should come as no surprise at all. Back then the money men crashed the markets when they became over exposed much in the same way as the big banks did in the last financial meltdown. In the latter instance it was caused by the banks willingness not only to lend amounts of money to people who could never really pay those loans back but also by their own short sighted greed. This coupled with financial deregulation and an almost casino style use of investor's money on the trading floor bought about the inevitable crash.

Shortly after people started losing their jobs as the banks (if they hadn't failed) had no capital to loan out. The jobs they then found, ifat all, where low paid and resulted in further losses to the banks as people started to default.

Governments, through their own mismanagement and deregulatory banking rules (of which the Clinton's where culpable along with the Bush's) where forced to use public money to prevent total economic colapse. This in turn had a domino effect of sending inflation down, reducing state aid to the needy and a general pull back of public works programmes.

US and European overseas policy was also still hell bent on regime change in various countries. I'm not saying if that policy was right or wrong but I cannot see how you can back one side whose human rights violations are as bad as the other side's. My own view is we should have left well alone but we didn't.

This overseas policy resulted in the waves of immigration we in the west now see on a daily basis. Again, rightly or wrongly Merkel held the door wide open, no questions asked and the inevitable flood of peole into Europe occured.

This is where the political elite found theselves in increasingly hot water. Normal everyday people who had no particular axe to grind with anyone suddenly found that their entire way of life was perceived to be under threat by a massive influx of people whose cultural and religious believes where the polar opposite of their own. Here in the UK people also felt that their communities and cultural identities where also under threat  and so, when given a chance to opt out of the club that had just invited everyone in the world to walk into it, the people leapt at the chance to get out. Please notice I use the word "percieved" a small yet crucial detail. A percecption need not be anything like the reality but if you perceive a threat to you you are far more likely to act even if you are told everything is perfectly fine.

This is why I beleive we shouldn't have been or continue to be surprised by more trend bucking political outcomes especially across the EU. Junkers et al still have their heads in the sand when it comes to the European dream.

Hi Unibet-guys,

One question. Are you all communists at heart or do you let the high school interns set the politics odds? I just looked at the odds for the 2020 US presidential election and I have found another massive value bet here! However, since it's 4 years from now, I'm not taking the bet myself, but if any of you guys reading this look for a long term "investment", as it will probably outperform a lot of stock picks, give this one a look:

Republicans to win the 2020 election at 2,45!

Reasoning:

So let me get this one straight, Unibet thinks the Democrats are the favorite to win the US election 2020!

God Emperor Trump won in a landslide (306 votes), the Republicans control the Senate, the Congress and the Supreme Court. The stock markets surged since November 8th and the Democratic party right now is non-existent, yet Unibet thinks the Democrats will rise again and win.

OK, then let's take a look at the odds for the winning candidate:

President Trump is the favorite at 2,50, followed by VP Pence at 5,00. So again, Unibet thinks the Democrats will win the next election however the two leaders right now are Republicans. OK, then let's take a look at the young talent on the Democratic side:

#3) Michelle Obama at 8,00. Her qualification is that she's the wife of Barry, one of the worst presidents in recent memory. Under his watch, the US added 10 trillion in debt, never had quarterly GDP growth of more than 3.5 % and two Arab countries turned into absolute hell holes (Libya, Syria). Obama made George W look like Winston Churchill in contrast. I think Michelle is smart enough not to run.

#4) Elisabeth Warren at 11,00. Leftist senator, will be 71 in 2020. I like her ideas in her book "The two-income trap" but no one will vote for an unknown grandma against Trump.

#5) Julian Castro at 13,00. Who?

#6) Tim Kaine at 13,00. Now it gets comical. Kaine has been completely exposed by Silver Fox Mike Pence in the VP debate. Despite being a huge favorite in his home state, the Democrats barely won Virginia in the 2016 election and his "rallies" before the election were so successful that 10s and 10s of people showed up.

#9 and #10) Cuomo and Booker at 21,00. Again, who?

#11) Hillary Clinton at 21,00. I wouldn't even bet on her to still be alive in 2020. Btw, did you know she spent 1.2 billion to lose?

#12) Joe Biden at 23,00. Would take over the presidency at age 78.

#14) Bernie sanders at 51,00. This senile, old communist isn't even in the Democratic Party anymore.

As you can see, there's no one to challenge the God Emperor on the Democratic side. So if you have some money left to invest, go ahead. There are no sure things in betting, but this is easy money. Personally I believe the Dems will run some old guy with no future to save face and take the loss against Trump in 2020 (like a Democratic Bob Dole or John McCain) and then build someone else up to compete in 2024.

I agree in some parts, but I think you draw the wrong conclusion. Germany 2016 looks much different than Germany 1929. Next year there will be a lot of important elections in Europe and if you guys want, I can write a little bit about Germany and answer questions you might have.

Democrats will take control long before 2020. You watch. Adolf Trump will be thrown out of office long before his first term ends.

Btw, Michelle Obama is the most qualified first lady in history.

Michelle would easily clear the floor with Trump. I see her winning in a landslide.

Half a day to go before we have our first women President. Oh my, how the world has progressed.

Trump is getting absolutely annihilated in the early voting, thus why his odds have moved to 5.00

Let's hope the barbaric and extremely low IQ Trump fanboys don't burn down cities/start riots after their fascist leader is taken down.

Granted, Germany is a much different place now than in 1929 my point about Merkel was that, given how the Schengan zone worked, she unilaterally opened the door to unchecked mass immigration into Europe.

This in turn has given the extreme right and nationalist groups across various SOVERIEGN european nations ammunition to go on the offensive against the dream of a European superstate which no one has been given a democratic vote on. It's one thing to have an open border policy between peoples with whom you share cultural and economic values, quite another to swamp an entire region with people who's very ideology is diametrically opposed to many of the ideas we in the west hold dear.

The one thing that I have found extremely interesting while reading through this thread is how those of a so called *liberal* mind have been the most vitriolic in abusing any opinion that doesn't fit in with their world view. To me this is the very essence of what it is to be a fascist. I also believe that this in turn has lead to the situation we are seeing today at poling booths across the western democracies. Any meaningful discussions that have gone against so called liberal thinking have been either dismissed out of hand or those that have raised the question of unchecked immigration (both internally between member states and from external sources) have been attacked as racists.

This is what I find most unacceptable. The very essence of any democracy should be that people should be free to express their concerns in open and informed debate. That the pros and cons of both sides of a discussion be aired openly and freely.

Never more has it the old adage of "I may not believe in what you are saying but I will fight for and defend your right to speak your mind" be true.

As I have previously said, I have no problem with anyone's cultural / religious or political believes. I do not care if a person classes themselves as straight / gay / bi / transgendered or whatever label they decide to give themselves. I do, however, have a problem with people who try to stifle debate if they do not agree with an oposing viewpoint. It is also my opinion that to question a person's IQ level based on their disagreement of your particular view as infantile. To me this shows not just a lack of understanding of the counter argument but also the weakness of your own argument in any debate.

A lot of deep thinking on your part! 👍

Honestly, I don't think the populist movement in Europe, America and Germany is extreme right, it's just that the mainstream step by step moved to the left and branded everyone opposed to that as right extremists. Have you heard Farage, Petry, LePen declare war on each other in Europe if they get in power? I haven't. In the US, President Trump called for a collaboration with Russia regarding Syria, Hillary wanted the no-fly zone...

Again, I disagree that the view points of the *populist* parties are extreme. Look at the AFD in Germany: They get a lot of votes from people who didn't vote before, they get conservative votes from the CDU, working class votes from the social democrats and protest votes from The Left. Do you really think people who voted for communists a few years ago are now all neo-nazis? I don't. But the *Left* wants people to believe that, in order to surpress opinions that differ from their own viewpoints which in fact is the textbook definition of fascism.

Similar with Trump this is not a right vs left issue, it's about regular people being fed up with the decisions of the establishment. Here in Germany one of those decisions is to flood the country and its welfare system with 3rd world people.

My goals for this thread were to make money for myself, help other guys take money from liberals, write some entertaining stuff and trigger the crap out of the socialist on this forum. That worked! However, if reading here helped you understand that the *tolerant left* in fact is not as tolerant as they want to appear, great, another mission accomplished.

However to be fair to the *left*, I think that is an extreme outlier. Intellectually, he decided to show up with a knife to a gun fight and it ended like this:

Btw, how dare that racist, white male Indiana Jones use his white privilege to murder this peaceful Arab? Indiana Jones is racist, xenophob, islamophob, transphob, homophob and thus a Nazi and all of his movies should not be watched any longer! :Veryhappy:

You cannot discuss with indoctrinated people like that, you simply let them expose themselves and wait for the inevitable meltdown so that people watching from the outside can see the truth as well. If you read through the thread, that happened here quite often. Personally, I'd like to ridicule those special snowflakes as well for entertainment purposes...

You missed my entire argument. This has nothing to do with the left or right. This has to do with human rights issues.

The problem with people like Trump is he bases a lot of his thoughts on the bible and thinks that outweighs science. The 'right' is known to be hateful and try to take away rights of individuals. Who made such a big deal that Transgenders were allowed in Target bathrooms?

The 'right' also have extreme racist bias towards minorities. One terrorist attack and they affiliate all muslims with terrorism.

The only person that's indoctrinated is you.

I can guarentee you've never had a girlfriend in your life. With your world view you would probably lock her in the basement because she decided to show some skin in public.

SAD!
