EugenicistGates
Quite a traightforward one this.As a new customer, I am amazed that my welcome freerolls seem to return Omaha tickets only, and not cash or hold em prizes. If somebody could tell me how paying out in a variance that people have not even proved they are able to play is promoting responsible gambling, then feel free to enlighten me.My view, is it's a very sneaky thing to do. Why should new customers be expected to accept Omaha tickets they have no interest in using as prizees to claim tickets that were part of their promotion??Thanks,EugenicistGates
psrquack
What do you prefer instead of tickets?Being more accurate: I have tried to asking staff changing the payout of regular freerolls many time, but there is no chance for it. Hopefully welcome freerolls have another policy and they will consider your idea and official answer will follow this shortly.
Jami-Unibet
The freeroll prizes are meant to be promoting different gametypes, such as mission rewards etc.I don't see the connection with Responsible Gaming at all, the games are free and it's a free way to try another gametype. The welcome freeroll also pays out 1€ MTT ticket which can be used in Hold' Em. Thank you for the suggestion, but unfortunately it's declined at this time. 1 Satisfied with the community? | Read our guidelines? | Meet the team | Seen our latest blog posts? EugenicistGates
It is encourasging players to play games they are unafmilair with, hence gambling irresponsibly.. I feel that hold em games should return hold em tickets.. If I knew they were Omaha tickets when I joined, I may have reconsidered...
Jami-Unibet
I would not call that irresponsible by any means, especially since it's free. :) If you joined one and won, no one is forcing you to use the prize credited. There's even a few threads here in the Community telling how Cash Game tickets can be converted to half value in direct cash, the search function is a friend. ;) 3 Satisfied with the community? | Read our guidelines? | Meet the team | Seen our latest blog posts? EugenicistGates
Responsible gambling is rewarding people with tools to use what they are good at. If somebody wins at Holdem it's not rocket science is it. You all must be Omaha players, looking for easy money from all the free ticket freeroll players forced to play a game they have no interest in.That can be the only explanation for this Lunacy, I have seen it nowhere else, Holdem wins result in Holdem rewards.. psrquack
For me is fine changing the pp's at all freerolls and replacing the Holdem tickets to Omaha tickets at Omaha freerolls aswell or adding a general ticket as prize pool at newbie freeroll.Btw I see opportunity to try other game formats with the current prize pools nothing else. Livertool
I don't think none is forcing anyone to do anything. If someone is in that situation, police may help 😉I guess this is what we get when sites started to offer tools for gambling. More there is, more they want instead of trying to control their behaviour themsleves and taking responsibilty of their actions. If we get bottom of things, they are not suppose to allow gambling at all for such persons but it is what it is.
EugenicistGates
No I was forced here, because Unibet don't offer any Poker support on the phone. I abhore public forums and the people using multiple accounts to spread lies and the like lurking in them, i would much rather get proper accountable telephone support for my Poker queries and not use this, all day long.. I have had three offers for lower stakes games declined, better freeroll prizes declined, this forum is not on the side of the customers that is for sure. Not once have I seen a moderator push for anything better for us all, or challenge Unibet. If Unibet said they didn't offer proper customer support and it was public forum based before I joined, it may have affected my decision for sure. Hopefully they start to offer proper dedicated telephone support soon and let you guys concentrate on playing poker, you are all customers like me after all.. I never wanted to come here, I was forced into it by Unibet telephone support..

Jami-Unibet
No one is forced to be here, and no one is forced to join here. We still have an excellent Customer Support to answer all your queries you might have. Community is an extra function we offer, where users can help users along with employees. 1 Satisfied with the community? | Read our guidelines? | Meet the team | Seen our latest blog posts? CuteRaven
I don't get it. If you don't like the prizes of freerolls, why do you even play the freeroll? The sort of people who play the freerolls are people who like the prizes obviously (at least if they posess functioning braincells). If you do win an omaha ticket, you can play omaha with that ticket, and stop playing once the ticket is gone. If you keep playing with your own money after that that is your choice. If you can't control yourself then you need to work on impulse control or get help for gambling addiction. If someone offers you cheap crappy free beer, you don't accept it and then complain about it being cheap and bad. You either accept it or decline it.
