Corruption

I think it is amazing that Unibet asks for a photo of the front and back sides of my credit card to prove that it is mine before depositing funds into it. I sent one picture that was clearly good enough but they rejected, and have now sent another, which I imagine they will also try to say is unreadable in order to keep the money a little longer.

The mind-boggling thing is that this credit card is the one that deposited money into the account, and when that happened they demanded no verification of ownership at all. Money in, no questions. Money OUT - anything possible to delay. Such an obvious way to keep from paying out as long as possible. Greedy, greedy company.

Hey @JR67,

Sorry that you feel this way. It is by no means our intention to delay any payouts, as we have no reason to do so. What comes to the first pictures, while they indeed were clear, we don't accept scans of documents when requesting photos. This is something that should've been communicated more clearly, and usually is. The automated email when we request it in the account mentions it as well. Depends on the locality, there might be some translation errors or mistakes in it, if you think this is one of the cases please feel free to send me a PM with the message and I'll have it corrected.

And from what I can see, the withdrawal method is going to bank, and not card. If the payout was directly to the same card, I doubt this verification would've happened in the first place. The verification request was put in place 14/10/2019, and first documents were received 9/4/2020. We are processing the documents as fast as we can, but in order to do so we must first receive them. I've sent the latest ones to be checked, and will inform you here when I know more. :)

Wow. Are you the best liar at the company, or are you all this good at it?

My next set of pictures (taken with a Canon DSLR) were just rejected. "Can't read all the numbers." BS. I can read it, my wife, can read it, my dog could probably read it. A few colleagues had no problems reading it. You guys need to invest in glasses. It is clear that you are only interested in the float you get by not paying out. The twisted thing is that I am only asking for my paltry €60 back that I set in without playing anything. When I asked your representative to put it on the card instead of the account (I don't care) I was told that it is not possible anymore.

To quote you: "What comes to the first pictures, while they indeed were clear, we don't accept scans of documents when requesting photos." I sent photos the second time which were of much higher quality than the ones you had no problem reading on the scans. Where's the problem?

No one should ever expect Unibet to give anyone an advantage, but honesty in following the law would be nice.

Again - corrupt! Maybe you should try to help me instead of saying that an 18MP picture taken in broad daylight with a quality lens on a DSLR isn't good enough.

PS Of course you have reason to delay payments. It is called interest. Or in this case float.

Just so you know - your colleagues at Umibet just told me that you are not competent to discuss this issue after following the link to this thread. Hope you feel good about your employer now.

Hey @JR67,

I understand the frustration. I will certainly look up on what has been said in chats, and while it is only me giving advice here (Which I give from experience in the company and specifically with documents) I do give it based on what has been requested and/or written internally as instructions to the requests, as I don't work in that department, anymore.

I will also make sure the documents you've sent now will get approved as fast as possible. The reason why it is not possible to make a withdrawal to the card anymore, is because the expiry date has passed.

And regarding delaying payments for interest, that's not something we do. As you can see, I'm trying my best to get the process sped up as much as possible, to have a quick resolution on it.

I would assume, that good customer experience and customer service, fast resolutions in case of issues would be more profitable than delaying payments to gain interest.

I will let you know soon regarding the documents. :)
